Great villa with great views

The villa was very nice.. we went in March so the weather was alittle cold and places around the area were closed.. only a few reaturants open. The villa was very nice, clean and the beds were so comfortable. Bathrooms updated and new.. Views were beautiful . Owners were very accomodating and went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable .

Thanks for the excellent review and for the compliments on the house. The Amalfi coast in the winter time has many activities closed but it is very quiet and pleasant to visit. The property was as advertised-clean, spacious, and great view. We also arranged for parking, which went smoothly. We enjoyed the vias, small groceries, local restaurants nearby as well as the apartment's kitchen and laundry. Host was quick to reply to queries.

Beautiful view

We stayed in the 2 bedroom and the view didn’t disappoint. The people were wonderful in Praiano and all of Italy. The only negative is the amount of stairs you have to walk to get anywhere in The town. We walk 3 to 4 miles a day but that is nothing compared to the vertical stairs. With that said the property was beautiful and we would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the Amalfi Coast

Amazing stay! Beautiful villa!

The villa is beautiful! We felt like we were staying in a Palace! The house has been totally remodeled and every room was done with exquisite taste! Luca was very helpful in arranging taxis and dining reservations. He took care of our every need! Praiano is a sweet town with a "local" vibe! We experienced the best food and drink of our whole trip here! The beach is a short walk away and absolutely lovely! I can't say enough great things about this villa, Luca and Praiano! We are a family of 5 (3 college age children) and we were very comfortable! I can't wait to return!

Fantastic!

Our family of 4 adults loved our 6 night stay at this property. Being our first time to the area, we relied on Francesca and Luca who arranged a boat excursion to Capri, a driver to and from the Naples train station, and overall navigation of the local bus system. Their recommendations were reliable, on time, and overall a great fit for our needs. The property itself is beautiful- very clean and feels as though it was recently renovated- this is not your run down seaside apartment. Praiano is the perfect place to stay-- very quiet with some of the best food we ate our whole trip! Even the beds were the most comfortable of our stay. Thanks again Francesca and Luca!

The Perfect Vacation home on the Amalfi Coast

There aren't enough words to describe how much we loved White Moon in Love! The home is beautiful - the kitchen well stocked (we had a private chef and it worked for him) the beds are so comfy - the view from the patio is out of this world! Sunsets and sunrises and gorgeous moonlit nights are what I will remember most. Located on a footpath so no stairs to worry about, walking distance to groceries - Praia beach and many restaurants. We are 2 couples and although we toured Amalfi, Positano, Capri and Ravello - our favourite part of each day was returning home to our quiet peaceful villa. Francesca was so helpful- arranging transportation to and from Naples - a private boat tour and another of Amalfi and Ravello. To Me - this is as close to heaven on earth as you can get :) Stay here if you can!!

Fantastic apartment in wonderful Praiano

White Moon in Love was a perfect place for our family of four to spend a week in Praiano. It could not have been any cleaner. Spotless! And very well appointed. The bathrooms were beautiful and the apartment is furnished nicely. Great to have a washing machine and a dishwasher. Everything is new and modern. It is in a quiet location, just a few minutes' walk to one of the beaches in Praiano and a few minutes' walk from a grocery store. We enjoyed the relative quiet of Praiano. It is much less touristy than some of the neighboring towns, and though I was glad to go visit them, we were always happy coming back to Praiano. There are many options for dining out, which was something I was concerned about. Some of the best food I've ever had. At any rate, if you are looking to spend any time on the Amalfi, you will be very happy if you rent White Moon. I can't wait to go back.

Magnificent Villa!

We had an incredible experience celebrating our anniversary in Praiano in White Moon in Love! The villa is well-appointed and we loved cooking a few meals with the gas cooktop and bbq grill. The villa was very convenient for us because we had a hotel booked at the front and tail end of our Amalfi vacation and were able to wash our clothes. The bathroom renovations are very stylish and functional with top-end Grohe fixtures. The terrace view is nothing short of spectacular. La Moressa is a fantastic restaurant a short walk from the villa and Tutto for Tutti (local store) had everything we needed during our stay. Service at both were phenomenal - truly sweet people! Francesca is a pleasure to work with and we adore Luca who was exceptionally helpful both during check-in and check-out but also mid trip. Luca helped us secure a private boat charter and recommend a fantastic place for lunch on the beach. We are booking again for next June and are excited to return already. Grazie Francesca and Luca! Amazing experience!

Wonderful location for a stay on the Amalfi Coast

We were 2 couples staying for a week on the Amalfi Coast. This property was perfect for us. We loved Praiano as a base for our visit. It allowed us access to all the towns on the coast without staying in the very busy tourist areas. We rented a car but left it parked for the week. The roads really are insane! There are buses that can get you anywhere you would want to go on the coast. I would recommend going early as they can get quite crowded. There are lots of good restaurants in Praiano and a grocery store for all the supplies you'll need. Francesca and Luca were both very helpful and responsive to our questions. There is some construction going on right now that creates some noise. It is done by 4 though so if you are out for the day it won't bother you. My only suggestion for our hosts would be to provide some better knives for those who like to stay in and cook. With the view from the balcony you might not want to leave...I can't wait to go back.

Very upscale apartment

We stayed at the white moon in the attic for 6 nights. It is a beautiful, clean new apartment. The building also appears very new. The unit and the rooms are spacious as well it has a very large terrace. It was more impressive than the pictures to be there in person. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. We always had a rapid response to our emails when arranging the booking and request of certain details we wanted to know about. The apartment was also stocked with some essential supplies which made it easy not to have to get some of those things. Also there was a bottle of Prosecco and snacks to welcome us. Luca was our contact who met to show us to the apartment. We had to meet at the town hall (this initially was hard to find even with my GPS in my car) but we stopped and asked people who helped us find it. Even though I had google mapped it out as well. Luca was always available when we called him to take care of any questions we had. He also had made arrangements to do a boat trip to the island of Capri which was lucky because if we didn't we would have missed the chance to go because they get booked up very quickly. The place is very centrally located in Praiano. If you go out to eat make sure you try Kasai(we think it is the best restaurant in Praiano), Trattoria di Armandino, and Costa Diva. Great piazza at Che Bon on the main road. There are 2 grocery stores just up the road above the building. Would definitely return if coming back to Praiano. Magnificent Property in a great location

My wife and I spent one week in the White Moon in Love and one week in Sun Shining. Both units are fabulous. Appliances are up scale and all worked perfectly. Both units are spacious, in first class condition, in a great location, absolutely spotless, and have everything you might need. Bathrooms and kitchens are modern and spacious. White Moon has the best view and we loved the terrace. It is wide and offers great views. The apartment is upstairs but all on one level. For two to four people this would be my first choice. Sun Shining has a large terrace but the view is not quite as good as White Moon and it is not on one level, however it is much larger and more richly appointed. It would be good for a larger group or if you need to entertain. Praiano is a great location. You are right in the middle of all the points of interest. You are a short distance to Amalfi, Positano, and boats to Capri. Praiano is not as congested and noisy as Positano or Amalfi. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores within easy walking distance. The whole Amalfi Coast is on the cliff's edge. Be aware that if stairs and climbs are not for you, then you might choose somewhere else. We drove a car and chose to pay 15 euros for private parking and we were glad to have it. If you don't choose to do that, park your car and leave it. Take the bus. Parking is possible in parking decks in Amalfi, Sorrento, and Naples but totally impossible in Positano. Driving the Amalfi Coast is challenging with many buses and extremely narrow roads but with breathtaking views. Luca was sent to help us get settled. He helped us with our luggage, made good recommendations for restaurants, helped us situate the car, and gave a thorough briefing on the apartments. I have stayed in many vacation apartments and this was by far the best. I would highly recommend either of these units. Have a great time on the Amalfi Coast.

A slice of paradise

The listing photos simply don't do this villa and its surrounds justice. The villa itself is immaculate and its setting magic! It made our stay on the Amalfi coast truly memorable. Share it with your friends on Facetime while you're there - they'll all be green with envy. The agent, Luca, and the owners were incredibly attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much to ask or ever a bother. They were like the friendliest and most attentive hotel reception and concierge staff you've ever met, except even better. As for the location, everything other guests have said is true. Don't worry about stairs, dragging luggage around, whether to drive or bus it (we did both and took), wi fi connections, etc. Whatever you want to do in and around Praiano is very easy to do and get to from the villa. And all of the locals - from the Tutto x Tutti grocery store, Angela's Alemantari grocery store, Pasquale the barber (men will love this experience - he's amazing!), the food, service and live music at the new bar/restaurant which sits on top of the Tutto x Tutti and enjoys magnificent views, and the multi lingual seriously knowledgeable woman at the tourist information office are a delight. The pizza at the Che Bonta on the main drag is yummy and the food, wine and views at the restaurant of the Hotel Onda Verde just down the road near the Africana (take the lift to the hotel reception once you get there rather than the stairs) are fantastic. We think these are all must do's. Having spent 10 days there and watched the growing accumulation of tourists around the area generally as the summer took hold, we were glad to be there when we were (late May/early June) rather than mid summer. Regardless, there's no doubt in our mind that Praiano is the best of the Amalfi cities/villages to stay in - you get the best of everything without the crowds, yet every other place is easily accessible for half and full day trips - Amalfi, Ravello, Minori, Maori, Positano, Capri, Sorrento (the shopping there is lots of fun!), Salerno etc - we did them all. And if you're tossing whether to drive or bus around, don't listen to everything you hear. Not even the locals can drive at break neck speed on the winding coastal roads - it really is quite organised and you simply have to be patient when traffic jams for a short while as the incredible bus drivers negotiate their way through. And, save for Positano, we found there were plenty of parking options. We hope to come back.

Nice and quiet, well positioned for visiting the Amalfi

Not having traveled to this part of Italy before I wasn't sure what to expect. Get a small car as the roads are winding and very tight along the coast road. Thankfully Francesca organised parking in the owner's garage for our stay, take it as it is essential if you want to park close by. Palazzo Rocco is situated close to Commune de Praiano, the City Hall square, and a short walk away downhill. Luca met us on arrival and showed us to the house and garage. He also offers a grocery delivery service from the family shop, handy! There is a deposit to pay for breakages held until you leave and a visitors tax of 2 euros per night. Luca was great, he sorted the WIFI and was quick to respond to any queries. White Moon Attic is a two-bed apartment on the top floor, a staircase leads up to it from the main door so access is 24/7, just be quiet if late! The apartment is very tastefully decorated, from the door you enter a sitting/dining room with TV. A glass door from here opens up on to the large balcony which has fabulous views over the coast line. There is a 4 seater table, 2 sun beds and 4 low recliners, it really is a lovely space and there is also a shower for freshening up and a bbq for eating in. Both bedrooms open up on to the balcony, one is en-suite and the other has a separate bathroom again all tastefully fitted out with plenty of wardrobe space, additional blankets and pillows, plenty of towels. Air conditioning runs throughout and the owner had thoughtfully provided an electric plug-in mosquito repellent device plus there is a hair dryer, washing machine, ironing board, iron, mop, bucket, pegs and even a sewing kit. Fresh bedding and towels are provided weekly, although with the washer you do have the option of a more regular freshen up if so inclined! The kitchen is well equipped although a little tight on space, there are plenty of plates, dishes, mugs, glasses and cutlery and cooking utensils and pans. The owner also left us some dishwasher tablets and washing-up liquid. In one corner is a fridge/freezer with ice cube makers and behind it a toaster and spare fold-up table. Under the sink is a selection of recycling bins and instruction on there disposal provided. We had a fab vacation, Praiano is a great low key base just be aware of the steep hills and steps, other than that highly recommended. If only there was a pool! Beautiful scenery

The property was beautiful...however it requires quite a bit of walking to the villa dragging the luggage and then many steps...we found out later we could have had porter assistance....it would have been nice to know that in advance. Additionally we stayed in homes from Venice to Rome...we were never charged a cleaning charge, After what we paid for the villa that was unnecessary.

Amazing view

The property is very similar to the pictures.we are a family of 5 and where very comfortable. Francesca and Valerio where always available for anything we needed as well as Luca. They recommended us restaurants and booked a trip to Capri for us. I really recommend this place!

Very Confortable accommodations, beautiful and well maintained apartment..

The location is great. The property has an awesome balcony over looking the ocean. Both rooms are comfortable and well decorated. The owners puts a lot of effort in keep the property well maintained. Francesca, the owner is very responsive to any questions or concerns. Luca, the property manager gave us excellent service and he was always willing to help. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks Francesca and Luca for your hospitality. We'll recommend your property to anyone looking to stay in Amalfi Coast.

Wonderful apartment overlooking beautiful ocean view!!!

My mom and her 4 adult children stayed here as a part of our 2 week Italy vacation and we were not disappointed!! Praiano is a lovely place to stay to get a taste of how locals live all while still being so close to neighboring more touristy towns. Luca, who also runs the bar on the main road, met us, gave us the run down of the apartment as well as helped us during our entire stay with booking a tour, helping with buses, and any other info we needed! He was wonderful!! The apartment was perfect for our needs, the beds were comfy, the kitchen easy to use and the ocean view balcony made the entire apartment - there’s access to it from each room and from the living room. I would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Amazing place

We loved this house. The view and the town of Praiano was amazing! Luca was great to answer all of our questions at any time. We used the gym as well. Loved it and plan on returning!!!

Theses were exceptional accommodations.

The place could not have been nicer! The views were breathtaking. Lucca met us upon arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. He had some groceries delivered for our arrival upon my request and everything purchased was perfect! If you want to go to the Amalfi Coast you could not pic a better place to stay!

Just as advertised!

We (4 of us) REALLY ENJOYED our stay in White Moon and the town of Praiano. Luca, the site contact, was the ultimate host while we were there. He fully explained everything about the unit on arrival and joyfully made dinner (many) & Capri excursion reservations for us when we asked about restaurants and day trips. We really enjoyed his friendship and assistance. The unit itself is just as described. It was well appointed and the kitchen had all the items needed to make breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you wanted. The bathrooms were gorgeous. The view from the fairly large patio balcony is second to none. We did make day trips to other Amalfi Coast towns only to enjoy returning to the quaint town of Praiano and it’s wonderful restaurants for dinner. Would we book this property again — YES! Ciao to Luca and Francesca - thank you for your hospitality.

The most beautiful apartment

Celebrated our ruby anniversary in this beautiful apartment. The views are fantastic, very private. Spotlessly clean, fabulous rooms. Decoration amazing. The balcony is enormous for sunbathing, eating and just chilling with a glass of wine. Would highly recommend this amazing apartment.

Beautiful stay in Praiano

We really enjoyed our time at White Moon in Love! Praiano is a great location out of the crowds but close to Positano and Amalfi. The apartment was beautifully decorated, clean and has the most amazing views. We spent hours on the balcony just relaxing and taking in the beauty of the sea, boats and watching people strolling through the town. There are many stairs on the Amalfi Coast so you do need to be prepared to hike up and down to get around. There are several really good restaurants, some nice shops and fabulous people. We loved our 6 night stay there.

Fantastic terrace suspended in the sky

Palazzo Rocco is in the center of the village near the beach of Marina di Praia where every morning the boats leave for Capri and close to food shops and restaurants. The Penthouse White Moon in Love is very clean with modern furniture and has a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea where we spent all the time of the holiday using the barbeque and tasting prosecco and wine. Praiano is a quiet village near Positano and Amalfi where there are too many tourists. The staff of Palazzo Rocco is very helpful and Francesca has assisted us from arrival to departure giving us excellent directions. I recommend the Palazzo Rocco to those who want to visit the Amalfi coast. We'll be back soon.
