Location was very good close to everything. Check-in and response to our questions went smooth and timely. Only thing the pictures online don't tell you two out of four bedrooms would face a wall with no view. The only view you get is if you step out on the terrace. Overall we had a good time as we haven't spent much time inside. đ
We were 2 couples staying here. We were happy with view and location, but the property itself was disappointing. Most importantly: No Coffee Maker !! as shown in photos!
Only 1 outdoor lounge chair on balcony-2 shown in photo!
No place at all to sit inside, besides rickety dining room chairs, no lounge chairs or sofaâŠ..
Old cheap hair dryers, burned my hair
Did I mention no coffee maker ?!
If this property would like to continue to attract quality renters, these items are a MUST, certainly not what we paid for and EXPECTED
The check in process was unprofessional. We had to wait for 30 minutes for someone to arrive after calling a few times. No instructions were given about the parking. Showers were not working. No closets in two bedrooms to unpack, thus everything was left in the luggage. The building is very old and entrance always smelled.
Great base location to explore Amalfi/Naples area A+
Over all Iâd rate this vacation rental a 4.5 out of 5. It is a beautiful new apartment including a spectacular deck with a 180-degree sunset view of the Gulf of Naples. There are 4 large private bedrooms with American size Queen+ beds. There are 2 âfullâ bathrooms. The bathrooms are small without any counter space. The apartment is fully renovated. Not so much the building. It is under construction. The guys were only working for 1 day during our 6 day stay. I feel like itâs just temporarily partially furnished. Donât get me wrong. Everything is new and 100% functional. Americans! There is only an Italian espresso pot. Youâll figure it out.
Location. There is parking with the rental. Just around the corner with easy access. Itâs an extra 15 Euro per day. Great bakery right on the corner. Fantastic little market about 300 meters from the apartment. Thereâs the best pizza Iâve ever had down at the marina, Pizzeria Vincenzo Capuano Piano di Sorrento. Thereâs a lift to the marina. Itâs hard to find. Walking to center of Piano di Sorrento is an easy half mile stroll. Use the ATMâs there, not in Sorrento. Then, thereâs Sorrento. Itâs a 2.7 (not easy) mile walk to the center of town. Or, thereâs a 30 Euro taxi. Parking in Sorrento was 21 Euro for 8 hours. Buses, I donât know.
And, as always. For longer stays. Good luck figuring out the Italian trash pickup thing.
