Rénovée en 2017, cette charmante maison de plage est l'escapade parfaite pour tous. Nichée juste à côté de Lake Shore Drive, cette maison est située à l'arrêt 1 dans la magnifique plage de Sheridan!

Cette unité en duplex de style ranch comprend de nouveaux planchers de bois franc partout, une cuisine rénovée avec des comptoirs en quartz et un coin repas. Salle de bain rénovée avec baignoire et douche. La première chambre a 2 lits jumeaux, la deuxième chambre a 1 lit queen, toutes deux équipées de grands placards. Le salon comprend un canapé-lit pouvant accueillir 2 personnes. Laveuse et sécheuse dans l'unité, ainsi qu'un grand patio avec barbecue à gaz pour cuisiner. Maximum de 3 voitures autorisées.

Les attractions à proximité incluent Indiana Dunes Lakeshore avec équitation, natation, pêche et pique-nique. La plage voisine a un terrain de volley-ball ainsi que des toilettes publiques pratiques. Centre commercial Lighthouse Outlet à proximité, ainsi que des musées, le zoo de Washington Park, un parc aquatique extérieur, des casinos et de nombreux restaurants pour les familles et les occasions spéciales.

Perfect get away

The most perfect spot. Easy and SHORT walk to the beautiful and clean beach! The wagon was the best to carry our stuff on the walk!

Perfect location to the beach

The property was a perfect location to the beach, very close! They had beach chairs, toys, and a wagon to take everything to the beach which was great with small kids. Cosmetically, there were a few things that could be fixed/updated, but overall great property for the location and price!

Great Home! Great Location

This house was absolutely perfect! It is within walking distance to everything you'd want to enjoy in the area. The house was very clean and cozy. It had all the amenities you would need a week long vacation or long weekend. Beach towels and extra beach chairs were even provided. I would definitely stay here again!

Could use, kleenex per bedroom, trash basket per bedroom inexpensive glass wine glasses.foil for kitchen grill was very dirty. These are small things overall stay was great!!!

First time in Michigan City, Quaint location

The location of this property is great, it's literally right around the corner from the beach. There is a lot to do in the area. The bungalow is cozy and could use a little more updating but the kitchen, dining area and bathroom were very tastefully done. The owners were very attentive to our needs and quickly resolved any issues or questions that we had. Looking forward to visiting the area again! Thank you for the hospitality.

Great location, walk to zoo, beach and restaurants, a little pricey as the city itself is just ok. Shoreline brewery is awesome. Make sure you adhere to the “cleaning check out list” perfectly or they won’t refund you the cleaning fee when the floor makes your feet black. Overall would book again !!

Just what we were looking for.

Our trip was somewhat last minute. We found this duplex fit our needs. We wanted Close to the beach and that it was. Relaxation was the plan. Spent everyday swimming and playing in the sand. We also headed to Billy Boys Blueberry Farm one morning (highly recommended). Visited the zoo which was the perfect size and walked the lighthouse. Only thing missing in the kitchen was a can opener :)

Great location for family stay

Location was great! We walked to the beach and the zoo. Place included a beach wagon, beach towels, umbrella, and sand toys! Kitchen was well stocked for cooking (low on coffee) and had a dishwasher. We appreciated a crib in the house and a step stool for the kids. It could've been cleaner though. The floors made our feet black. We ended up putting down a picnic blanket for the kids to play on. Overall good stay for a family of four.

Great, clean home in Michigan City!

We really enjoyed our stay in Michigan city. This duplex was CLEAN, so well stocked (great kitchen tools, easy to cook in), and lots of extra linen and towels. The owner stocked little extras like condiments, and shampoo which was really nice. It was perfect for our family of 4 and we will definitely stay again! The only things I would improve would be maybe to add some more private curtains in the kitchen space - with being on a relatively busy corner, we saw lots of people on foot who could easily see in; also it was very bright in the mornings! We didn't realize how busy the road was that lead up to the house, but that wasn't an issue for us. Being so close to the beach and the parks was worth it!

Lovely

There were 6 of us. Four adults and two toddlers. The home was perfect. It was clean and we could walk to attractions i.e. the zoo etc. so it was a great location. I do have a couple of suggestions that may make staying there just a bit more pleasant for future renters. Parking 3 cars was a bit tight; I understand the rocks in the parking lot are there to separate the two units but they take up space and if removed, the cars would not have to park on an angle. Also, if a mirror were to be added in each bedroom then renters could blow dry their hair etc. in their bedroom instead of needing to use the only bathroom. An umbrella for the patio table would be nice too. The sun made it too hot to eat outside. Overall, a great space, we had a lovely get-away. I would most certainly stay here again. Thank you!

Our daughter's boyfriend was proposing on Saturday and we were hosting a party at our place down the street. It was a perfect place to house a few extra friends for the joyous occasion!

Great location and size for our family of 5. Quick drive to the national park and into Michigan. Close to the Michigan City Beach, zoo, and parks. The included travel guide helped us pick some activities.

Lovely trip

Just perfect for this trip! Super clean, easy to find, parking right out the front door and literally steps from the beach! Morning coffee out on the side deck, puzzles on a rainy afternoon, could not ask for more!

Property is close to Chicago, beach and Indiana Dunes National Park. House is just as described and worked well for our family of 6. Would stay there again! Wonderful time with family!

Close to the Dunes

Nice location and easy to get to the national park(10min). The property management team responded quickly and was easy to communicate with. It was cleaned enough, but you can tell it’s a little worn and is popular rental property that was cheaply refinished. But it’s comfortable and have some nice additions like a crib, beach umbrella/chairs to borrow. You can hear your neighbors on the other side if they are partying (not the greatest for a sleeping baby).

Nice little bungaloo

Stayed for a weekend with four adult women for a shopping weekend along the lakeshore. Not at the house very long each day but everything we needed was there and functioning. The only suggestions I have are that you provide pillows for the pull out couch and a fitted sheet for that. Very clean and kitchen well stocked!

Tidy with bare essentials

The rental was cute but I wouldn't say cozy. Bring slippers or extra socks as the floors were so dirty our bare feet were black from walking on them. The rental is a nice space though with plenty of room and was great for my husband and one year old. The beach really was a five minute walk away and the small zoo just a couple extra minute walk. The Indiana Dunes National and State Parks are both short drives as well. If you need groceries or other supplies there is a Meijer close by to either go get them or have them dropped off. The checkout time is 10am which is a little early especially when you're asked to wash and dry all the towels but we managed. I would recommend this property for rental if for nothing else other than its location and room.

Beach vibes

The location was perfect for what we wanted, the beach. Overall the house had what we needed. The beach was beautiful and we watched the sunset each night. There are a few things that need fixed. The patio chairs are coming apart, the twin beds are a bit noisy when you move.

We love this property because it is has an amazing location and new amenities! Clean and updated appliances, new furniture throughout, new gas grill for entertaining, and a five minute walk to the most stunning of Midwest beaches.
