Perfect getaway for me, my husband, and our newborn. The beach is so close and the hosts were very accommodating letting us borrow beach chairs and towels. The condo was clean and cute and we loved hanging out on the porch. Easy to get in/out of building and parking was right out front.

I had a great time with my granddaughters. The condo was perfect for us. We had everything we needed for the weekend. Hope to stay another time when it isn’t the Grand Prix (lol) and windy and raining. We ate at Leed’s shopped at the Lighthouse Mall, played games and watched movies! Fun, fun time!

This is our second year staying in the house. We stayed in a different unit this time. Everything was wonderful! The host communicates very well, it's easy to get in with the key code, parking is conveniently right in front of the house, and the unit is cute and clean. The bed sleeps two and the pull out/futon couch sleeps one to two. The best part is that you can walk to the beach on a nice path in only 5 minutes. We will absolutely be back. Thanks for a great stay!

Justin and Samantha were incredibly accommodating when I booked this stay on behalf of my dad during a housing transition. They checked in throughout the three-week stay to ensure he had everything he needed.Overall, the condo was very pleasant, with beautiful views and a location that was close to everything. Being right on the lake, it would be especially well suited for a summertime visit; during the winter months it was a bit drafty, which is understandable given the location near the beach.It was a great little place and good value for the price, and we truly appreciated Justin and Samantha’s hospitality.

Everything about this place is perfect for the long weekend we took to Michigan City! We spent the day in Chicago (barely an hour away!) and checked in late with absolutely no issues. Spent the next two days relaxing on the beach that’s not even a 5 minute walk from the house (and it only took 5 minutes because walking through sand is hard!). There is a beautiful pier not to far away either, it was a great spot to watch the sunset.

Great Little Getaway

Perfect for a short vacation with my spouse. Neighboring units are close together but I hardly heard anyone else (even though they were there). Property managers were super responsive and kind. Location is great for beach access (though be prepared to climb a high dune or else drive to another location). New Buffalo is not far away but Michigan City was lovely. Highly recommend!

Walking distance to the beach

Biggest bonus was the beach was walking distance. Place was nice and clean & included two beach chairs which was a nice little surprise. There was parking just for this property but it was very limited and street parking was a nightmare. The zoo was walking distance which was nice. Property was listed as one bedroom with additional pullout couch but the couch just had an addition you pull out to make longer so it wasn't a bed nor long enough for my two teens that are hardly 5ft 8. The cute balcony would have been a nice place to relax but the outdoor furniture was just some old wooden chairs. The unit does NOT have a washer & dryer. The building has a coin operated washer and dryer which is off limits at certain times. The bedroom door doesn't actually shut all the way and the front door has an interior door knob so the only lock is the keypad which didnt feel safe since the other units were all occupied. We still had a great trip and only used the rental as a place to sleep

If we could give this property, and this host 10 stars we would! We have stayed here for about the last 8 years. Super clean, very short walk to the beach, quiet, safe, and very close proximity to great restaurants and attractions! Hosts are super responsive if you have questions or concerns. We highly recommend this place and this host!
