À propos de cet hébergement

Notre endroit est parfait pour les petites familles ou les groupes. Nous sommes idéalement situés à l'écart de North Upper Truckee Road, évitant la circulation sur le lac pendant la haute saison. Nous sommes dans une rue résidentielle calme, donc aucune fête n'est autorisée.

Si vous voulez entendre l'agitation à travers les arbres, notre place est pour vous! Nous avons un terrain forestier d'un côté de nous, et l'autre une cabine qui est rarement libérée. Notre place n'est pas clôturée. Notre endroit peut accueillir confortablement 5, mais si cela ne vous dérange pas de partager un plein, 6. Chambre 1 a une reine, chambre 2 a un lit complet, avec une couchette. Notre cabine est très propre et entièrement équipée avec tous les éléments essentiels, puis certains. Nous avons une cuisine à concept ouvert. S'il vous plaît noter que nous avons des sièges pour les repas pour 4 au comptoir de la cuisine. Nous n'avons pas de table de cuisine séparée. Nous avons beaucoup de jeux de société, xbox-360, qui sert également de lecteur DVD. Nous avons un nombre limité de films disponibles.(principalement des films pour enfants)
Nous avons un excellent service Wifi. Le service cellulaire n'est pas génial, mais vous pouvez facilement vous connecter à notre wifi pour plus de couverture téléphonique. S'il vous plaît noter que nous avons seulement 1 55 "TV dans la maison.

En bas de la rue de notre emplacement est la forêt, avec un accès à la randonnée, le vélo, la raquette et le ski de fond.
Nous sommes proches de tout ce que Tahoe a à offrir dans les quatre saisons.

Great getaway location in South Lake Tahoe

We came here for a week to ski Heavenly and Kirkwood and the location was perfect for both. The homeowners had phenomenal communication throughout the entire stay. The space was the perfect size and I really appreciated the cleanliness of the property, one of the cleanest VRBOs I've ever stayed in. 10/10 I would look for this property to rebook in the future.

Perfect ski week!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 to spend the day on the slopes (super close to Sierra-at-Tahoe) and wind down/relax for the evening/night. Everything was as described, well organized, clean and in perfect order. Hope to use it again!

Conveniently located, cozy cabin

We were so pleased to stay here. The cabin was the perfect size for our family (two adults and two kids) and was conveniently located near Highway 50 and 89. It is also really close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Cozy house with all amenities

This house was perfect for 5 of us (3 adults, 2 kids). We had no issues and the host was flexible with our check in time due to the weather in the area. House has everything that we needed including items to do laundry. Beds were comfortable and so was the couch. Loved the beach pass that they have for our favorite beach (pope). Would stay here again.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

A short drive to South Tahoe. A short drive to Starbucks. Spent a week exploring the area. House had everything you needed. A bear walked thru the yard one morning! Thanks for a great week!

“we loved this place”

Great place in a great quiet neighborhood close to the store and lakes. The house is very clean and has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. Karen is very easy to communicate with and responds quickly. Plus she gave us recommendations of beautiful places to visit. She is an excellent host, we are very grateful to her and her cleaning team. My son had forgotten a very special memory of his grandfather and they were very kind and sent it to us.

Very nice, quiet location with lots of pine trees all around.

Convenient to all of the hikes on the west side of the lake. Rooms are large. Master bed is very comfortable. Able to park right by the door. We like to see the Tahoe wildlife and saw bears from the window. Property is stocked with many more items than you usually get in a rental.

Lake Tahoe Rental

This was me and my family's first time renting a vacation house and we were all impressed with how much amenities it included and how nice and clean everything was. The house was bigger than I thought, the bathroom with the washer n dryer, the living room, kitchen, porch with the grill, including the bedrooms which were made very nice and comfortable. The only bummer was that it was hot at night but thankfully they had 3 fans in the house that we were able to use. Overall Karen's house was very very welcoming and my family and I look forward to hopefully coming back again next summer.

Great Meyers House

Karen is very communcative and twice resolved some issues we had with the hot water due to the cold weather. She was very quick in resolving the issues, which we know were out of her control and we were very appreciative of. The house is as described in the pictures. All the essentials are there. Salt, pepper, some cooking oil, pots, pans, can opener, blender, a few spices, foil, laundry detergent, dish detergent, TP, towels, paper towels. House also has a TV and xbox, which we didn't turn on, but looked like they were functional. The things that weren't there were: oven mitts (we used towels), measuring cups/spoons (we used a pyrex liquid glass container and silverwear as proxies), flour (we brought our own). The house was a little dark at night. I mitigated this by bringing the lamps from the bedrooms out to the main area to brighten the area in the evening, which was good enough for me. Didn't use the lamps in the bedrooms since there was overhead lighting, and the kids were sleeping in there. There is a gas furnace that heats the entire house. Kept the main room very warm, and we kept the doors to the bedrooms open to make sure the heat got into the bedrooms, which worked fine. The bedrooms have electric wall heaters, which we didn't use as much since they were noisy and would turn on/off over the course of the night. shower was great. having laundry machine was great. really marked all my boxes, and despite the hot water issues (which were resolved), would stay here again, especially knowing the great communication of Karen and Matt. Thank you Karen.

Great option for S Lake Tahoe!

The stay was mostly as expected! We were skiing for 4 days and wanted a place where we could access Heavenly, Northstar, and Kirkwood. This place was just that! We loved the layout with the fireplace, kitchen, two bedrooms and bathroom. The host messaged back so quickly and was very attentive. For example, there was THICK ice when we arrived spread out across the walkway to the door. My uncle slipped the first night and hit his head. We told the host, and she was able to get someone to come out and resolve this the next day! Other than this, the check-in and out instructions where clear! But the key box is really hard to open. The beds are quite stiff (as other comments mention), but that didn’t bother us. We had expected to use the grill as an amenity, but it was packed away for the winter so we had to cook our steaks on stove top which made the place very smokey for one night. I can imagine this place being very cute in the summer with its deck shaded by the pine grove. We had an overall great experience in S Lake Tahoe with this place as our main stay.

Nice comfy home in a convenient location.

Karen and Matt were pleasant hosts. Their home was comfortable for a family of 5 with three young kids. Location was convenient for snowboarding at Kirkwood resort and South Lake Tahoe. The street leading to the house can get a little icy but not unmanageable. The home was clean and had most of the needed amenities for a comfortable stay. We had a question about Roku and Karen/Matt responded promptly. Thanks again.

The house was super clean and comfortable. A little more pricey for my budget. Unfortunately it was winter time and we had to leave a day early due to the weather. Which made it super pricey for a one night stay 😂

Great little find!

We had a fantastic stay at Karens house! The neighborhood is beautiful and very quiet. The kitchen and all other essentials were well stocked - lots of the little things that are often missing in rentals were present. Wifi and TV all worked without any problems. The outdoor grill was clean and well looked after. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Hidden gem!

We had wonderful stay at the house. The house is well stocked up with all the essentials both in the kitchen and the toiletries. We felt home staying in Karen’s house. The location is perfect and close to beautiful tourist destinations like emerald bay, Baldwin beach etc.. we had a lovely and satisfying lake tahoe trip this time although its my 5th time visiting the place. If we go again to Tahoe, we sure are staying at Karen’s house.

Nice & Cozy!

I booked this cabin last minute and boy, were we lucky this one was available! It's the perfect size and it is stocked with a good amount of vacation essentials. Everything was clean, updated, and the wifi and cable work really well. The location is quiet and peaceful, and not that far of a drive to Heavenly Village/Casinos/Beaches. Thank you again Karen for letting us stay in your cute little home!

Our family of 4 love to travel and explore new places. In 2004 we decided to buy a house to share with our kids, but sadly do not get the opportunity to visit as much.
We hope you enjoy our cabin and this amazing area!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We love this area due to the easy access (taking time off the commute) as well as being out of the tourist area. Christmas Valley and our location usually have the most snow !

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

You will love our cabin because it is very close to everything (including easy access both in and out of highway 50) but tucked away in a residential area off N. Upper Truckee Road.
Our house is very private and the surrounding space is absolutely beautiful. Our kids are able to play in the street in the summer, soccer, badminton, frisbee etc.
Please keep in mind we are in the mountains and you may see many animals, not limited to: squirrels, coyotes, bears, raccoons, mice, mosquitos, ants etc.
