Great cabin

Great little rustic cabin that was perfect for what turned out to be a working trip, while my son attended camp just 10 minutes away. The cabin was excellently appointed. Host has done an amazing job with providing very clear instructions and information. Enjoyed the stay and the area, and our Aussie thoroughly enjoyed the run up and down the beautiful yard chasing tennis balls. Especially enjoyed Butternut Creek golf course on what was a perfect day in the summer.

Relaxing week in Georgia Hill country

we had a very relaxing and spiritually refreshing week at the cabin. I was invited to sing at a Church service in Suches,Ga by the Pastor. I didn't bring any music or guitar, so I borrowed the guitar at the cabin and got some music off the internet. We really enjoyed our mornings on the porch sipping hot coffee, reading our Bibles, singing praise songs, and prayer. One night at dusk we spotted a deer eating an apple from the apple orchard. As it got darker the deer came closer to the cabin. Everything we needed was provided for us at the cabin. Our dog even found a ball in the cabin shortly after our arrival. The cabin was every bit as good as the pictures. Thank you for such a relaxing week.

The Listing is Very accurate

Our vacation rental choice lives up to the listing. It is clean, well maintained and spacious. It is well stocked with cleaning supplies, well stocked kitchen. The primary reason was for booking it was it being near Nottely Lake for a fishing trip for my 49 year old step son. Public access for fishing for us was at TVA recreation area near the dam. That was six miles, ten minutes away from the cabin. Walmart Blairsville was about 15 minutes away. The back yard of the cabin is about 3/4 of an acre. It has a fire pit with firewood supplied picnic tables and a park style charcoal grill. The gas grill is on the back porch. The area is quiet. There is another house 50 ft away but no sign of the occupants. The cabin is near a not very busy state highway and the traffic did not disturb our sleep.

Clean and OK

Property needs hand rails on front entrance, very steep for older folks. Queen bed was quite high to get in and twin had a horrible squeak each time you moved. No Mountain View but pretty open field. Other cabins fairly close, parking was good but the street noise was a nuisance at night. My most disappoint came because I deliberately picked a cabin with a fireplace. It did not work from day one. Reached out to our contact number. She said she would be there in about 45 min. She forgot about us until 9:30 that night, after we wasted an evening and ended up with gas station pizza for dinner. She offered to try again the next day but I didn’t have trust she would show and didn’t want to waste any more of our trip waiting. Cabin was clean and well stocked. So if that’s all you need this would be a good fit.

Comfy and Personalized

We wanted to get away after Christmas and still have some Christmas activities with the kids. So we booked this very cute cabin. It is pet friendly which is a huge plus. First we received a phone call about a month out asking if there is anything they can do to make our stay better (very unexpected and awesome) - I said if they can make it a little Christmassy that would be wonderful. When we arrived there were personalized welcome signs, smores kits, yummy local jam, stockings hung with a Christmas tree and lights outside as well. Lots of room for running (for both the dog and my youngest) and it was very clean. During our stay I had to reach out for one issue (it was a user error, mine) and was taken care of very quickly. We even received a text while there letting us know we might get snow and to be aware and careful. We were able to go to Blue Ridge, Dahlonega and Helen while there because we were centrally located. My only regret is that I would have rather skipped Blue Ridge and stayed a full day at just the cabin. After check out (which was incredibly easy) we realized half way home we left an expensive item in the cabin. The owner was overly helpful and communicative in getting it to us. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. In a time when customer service seems non existent we were blown away with the special touches and hospitality.Thank you
