We had the absolute pleasure of spending Labor Day weekend at this beautiful mountain-top cabin, and it exceeded all expectations. Though the home has some age, it feels brand-new thanks to the owner’s meticulous attention to detail and spotless cleanliness. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a true family home—warm, welcoming, and filled with love.The Appalachian décor is tasteful and charming, and every corner is thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was provided aside from food and clothing. Clear instructions and labels made it easy to use appliances and amenities, and the property is fully equipped for comfort and convenience.The views are breathtaking—especially from the upstairs bedroom. We spent hours soaking in the beauty of the mountains and watching countless deer wander through the property, adding a magical touch. While there are other homes nearby, the cabin feels wonderfully private and quiet, offering true peace and tranquility.Our host was attentive and available but never intrusive, striking the perfect balance for a relaxing getaway. The cabin is easy to find, well-lit, and clearly marked, which made arrival stress-free.In short, this is a well-built and lovingly maintained mountain retreat. We left refreshed, grateful, and already looking forward to returning. We only wish we’d had the chance to meet Pop Haven and Kooper! Thank you, Ric and Anne, for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Fantastic Stay

House was clean,well organized, had most everything needed and very comfortable beds. Ric was very prompt and most helpful to address problems. Great views from the deck of the mountains and deer. Will stay at Heavenly Haven Cabin when we come back this way.

The property was just as presented on VRBO. Ric and Annie are amazing hosts. From the moment my confirmation hit until final checkout. They had everything clearly marked and explained. Will definitely stay again.

Relaxation at its finest!

Although I already had high expectations from the VRBO ad, those expectations were far surpassed in person! Everything as absolutely perfect. The cabin, the view, the area, and the peace afforded to us there were all above and beyond!

Rafting on the Ocoee

Our daughter had a recruiting trip at The University of Tennessee so we decided to break up the trip home with some rafting on the Ocoee River. Heavenly Haven was perfect for our two night stay. With a short 35 minute drive to Ducktown for rafting, the location was great. I told Rick we have them on our short list of places to stay when we return. The cabin has everything you need! We recommend a stay to anyone!!

Beautiful view, very homey.

Clean, warm and homey home. Good instructions for opening and leaving. Towels and bedding were clean and orderly. Lots of shops & eateries in Murphy offering Southern hospitality, as well as the River Walk. Thank you.

Fantastic cabin in great location

The property was well maintained , clean , and in a great location for the various activities we enjoy in the Murphy area. The cabin was perfect for my wife and me . We will definitely be back . Great views too and easy to get to as well .

Lovely Cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! The pictures really don’t do it justice! It was clean and spacious for our group of 5. Nice long range Mountain View. The drive up wasn’t difficult. Ric was very informative prior to our trip which made things easy once we arrived. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Ric and Anne!

We really enjoyed our stay. Ric was super nice and the cabin was really nice. The view was especially lovely. We felt the cabin was very clean and kept up nicely. I can only imagine how lovely the view would be in the Fall. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Ric sent good information with directions and other things to know . Well done. All the lights were labeled. lots of good information about things to do and places to eat. Good location. We enjoyed the view, and the peace and quiet. We would stay at the cabin again.

Just what was needed - very comfortable

Very comfortable place. It was a last minute decision to go out of town and this was a perfect location. Very close to town, house had all the amenities - felt like home. Loved the story of the family cabin was kept to tell its story. A tad tricky getting to it -but did just fine. Again so close to the cute town of Murphy made it so convenient. Thank you for opening up your family home.
