We enjoyed our recent stay at this peaceful, cozy cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. Location is close enough to everything that you may want to do! We highly recommend and will be staying again when in the area!
Cabin was extremely clean! Comfortable beds, great hot tub, quiet, had all the amenities we needed. Communication was great. Highly recommend. Would suggest road signs directing to the cabin.
The location was great, and cabin layout was functional. I loved the privacy and the large screened in porch. However, the cabin had not been cleaned. I always bring my vacuum, and I almost filled my cannister. I observed barefoot prints in dust on the floors. Also, kitchen countertops had visible crumbs. Oven was not clean as well as stovetop. Rugs need to be replaced as well as pots and pans. I spent 2.5 hours cleaning.
We arrived when it was dark and it was hard to find because it's not on the map. Google maps does not take you there - so make sure you get written directions before you head there. But the owners called me and helped me get there, staying on the phone with me until I arrived at the cabin. The cabin itself was the perfect little place for the 4 of us. Great front porch and even a back porch with a "picnic table" to eat dinner on. The hot tub was great to use after being out all day. It's right in the middle of Elijay, McCaysville, and Blairsville... hiking, shopping and excursions whichever direction you go. We would love to stay there again!
Cabin was very clean and well kept. Our arrival date was thanksgiving day and times with family are important. But to our family as well. We spent an hour trying to find the place and 2 hours later, the owner finally gave us directions but we had found it by then. Probably need step by step directions instead of a "physical address is listed" because it was almost impossible to find. Other than that, it was a nice stay. Cabin is in an EXTREMELY remote location and away from any and everything. Seemed to be on the poor side of town.
It is only 15-20 minutes from Blue Ridge and McCaysville so we went to both. We spent most of the time at the cabin relaxing and it was extremely peaceful.
