Nestled on the shores of Lake Menominee, this south-facing cottage is bathed in sunlight throughout the day, offering stunning views and unforgettable sunsets right from the dock. The cottage features three bedrooms, including two with king-size beds, and two bathrooms, making it ideal for families.

A spacious glass-railed deck provides a perfect vantage point overlooking the waterfront. Just steps away, you'll find a shallow, sandy beach area and a 40-foot dock. The gentle waters extending from the beach make it especially safe and enjoyable for young children. For your enjoyment, we provide multiple kayaks, a canoe, a paddle boat, and life jackets for the entire family. The cottage is conveniently located just 5 minutes from Baysville and its Friday farmers market, and 15 minutes from the diverse dining, shopping, and sweet treats in Huntsville.

The cottage includes ample parking space and is equipped with a smart TV, a second TV for videos, and Wi-Fi, which is ideal for remote work. The fully stocked kitchen will delight the family chef, and you'll never have to worry about running out of fuel with the plumbed-in BBQ. Evenings can be spent around the fire pit, or enjoying puzzles and games.

The central area of the cottage is perfect for family meals and activities, complemented by an outdoor dining tent for those who wish to extend their outdoor enjoyment into the evening. Two of the bedrooms feature walkouts to the lake, and the loft is perfectly suited as a kids' Play space. For added convenience, laundry facilities are available. The shoreline also features a sandy area where kids can play and safely enjoy the shallow water.
The entire cottage and all its amenities are exclusively yours to enjoy.

Perfect gathering place

We stayed at Anne's cottage for our son's wedding at Timber Terrace, just outside of Huntsville in May. Anne was accommodating with our rather crazy schedule. It was the perfect place for adult kids and grandbaby to be together in the moments we were not at the venue. The kitchen has everything you need and was helpful for feeding our gang. They are all asking to return for a summer stay so we can enjoy the lake and have more time to enjoy the view.

Winter wonderland!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage with our family. The location was perfect—close to hiking trails and just a short drive to Huntsville and Hidden Valley. The view of the lake was amazing, and the cottage was cozy, spacious, and comfortable. Anne was easy to reach and very responsive. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay, and we really enjoyed spending New Year’s there.

There is no access to drinking water from the community, highlighting significant water-related challenges. During winter, there are limited activities to engage in, and it's unclear what summer offers. Additionally, the TV is of no use as there is no internet connection to stream or watch anything. Overall, the situation feels quite challenging experience

Girls Getaway

We had an amazing weekend. When we walked into the house it felt so welcoming. The view is stunning, especially in the fall with all the beautiful colours. A perfect getaway for family and friends!

We had an incredible stay ! The moment we stepped inside, we felt right at home. The cottage was tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake. We spent our days exploring the nearby places and kayaking. The cottage itself was spacious, well-maintained, and had all the amenities we required, including a fully stocked kitchen and plush bedding. We particularly loved the outdoor patio. It's the perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility, and natural beauty.

Great Summer Cottage for Family

We had a great late summer stay at Anne’s cottage. The cottage had everything outdoorsy/water related that we needed - life jackets of all sizes, kayaks, canoe, mat/raft for jumping off of, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook or bbq meals for three generations. The lake and views were beautiful and peaceful for the soul. Truly a great location and cottage. The only tip besides booking it would be to bring your own beach towels.

Wonderful cabin for a winter weekend

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin has a large kitchen and table that could accommodate the whole family with a cozy living room. The location was ideal - close to Huntsville and Arrowhead. We had a fantastic weekend and hope to do it again next winter.

Beautiful location

We stayed here for 5 nights. There were 5 adults, we had a sibling weekend! Beautiful cottage with all amenities there. Location was easy to get to and the lake is wonderful. I would highly recommend this for anyone.

Beautiful and Peaceful

The cottage is beautiful and spacious. A lot of amenities including a smart TV and anything you would need to cook. Anne is a very responsive and an accommodating host. It was a lovely place for my friends and I to reconnect. Thank you for having us!

Perfect for a Girls’ Weekend Away

We kidnapped my mom and whisked her to this beautiful cottage as a surprise for her 70th birthday. The location was gorgeous and was easy to get to. The cottage itself is absolutely wonderful. Beautiful inside with lots of room for the seven of us. My mom, her three daughters, and three grand daughters. The lake views from almost every room were wonderful to wake up to in the morning and enjoy all day long. Would love to visit again in the summer when we could enjoy morning coffees on the dock and play in the water. We had everything we needed for making big meals and although we brought our own games with us, there were many games already there. Had a fabulous time!!

Beautiful view

This cottage is nestled amongst trees on a beautiful lake. The views from the cottage are spectacular!! The cottage was very clean and spacious. Lots of living space. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. We had some nice walks on the frozen lake. Enjoyed a great weekend with the family!

Lovely cottage stay in Baysville

Our group recently stayed at this cottage for the weekend, and absolutely enjoyed everything about the rental. The cottage overlooks a lake, so even in winter, is a lovely view. The cottage sleeps 8 or 9 people so there was plenty of space for our party. The bedrooms aren't super large, but you aren't spending a ton of time in there anyway. And the beds are very comfortable! The living room, and open concept kitchen/dining area are perfect for gathering in for meals, games and conversation. The kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals, very well appointed. Very good size fridge. And we liked the fact that the kitchen supplies, dishes, and pots and pans are good quality. Not like the host just purchased crappy supplies for rental users, like many places seem to do. We appreciated that. Plenty of hot water for showers. Dishwasher. No complaints from us. We would absolutely recommend this cottage rental to others, and will be looking at booking it again next winter. Thanks Anne!

Fall colours and birds

Our group arrived shortly after 4pm, we had a very minor issue with the lock box but we were very impressed with the timely response and resolution, top notch! The cottage is spacious and comfortably accommodated our group of 8. The lake was quiet, the property lovely and the view was gorgeous! Loved it ! We are hoping to go back next year, same time, for 4 days!

Property is ok. But the owner is a big demerit!!

We checked in on a rainy weekend. Cooked a meal, went fishing a little bit. The property was just ok. Water is sometime smelled dirt. Can't expect more with a price like this. *However, please bring a cleaner with you and make sure do the deep clean before leaving the house. Or the owner will bombard and harass you day by day with the clean up, while you already paid for that. Such a ridiculous experience!!

We have been cottaging for the last 35 years, and it has become a cherished tradition for our family. It's a time when we can all come together, relax, and truly connect with one another. Over the years, we've created countless memories that we'll keep forever. These experiences have shaped us as individuals and as a family, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue this tradition.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We chose this area because it's near Huntsville and Baysville. There's a lot of activity in both, plus we can stock up on supplies.

Huntsville has a lot of resorts and restaurants. Baysville is quaint and fun to visit if we want to get ice cream or go to the bakery or brewery.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I wanted to share what makes our cottage such a special place. It’s unique because it offers both privacy and plenty of space, with a true cottage feel but with all new amenities.

One of the highlights is definitely the dock, which is an awesome gathering space for everyone. The open kitchen flows into the porch and family room, creating a wonderful social area. Plus, there are comfortable sleeping areas and quiet spots where you can relax and make space for yourself.

I hope this gives you a better sense of what our cottage is all about!
