Place was cozy, clean and great location. The hot tub was nice too. Unfortunately, the AC did not work very well upstairs, the kitchen sink needs repairing the faucet was loose, and wish they had storage in each room for clothing (closer or dresser). Only one of 3 rooms had a closet. The foosball table although a nice touch was installed incorrectly and also in an odd area. Would rather there have been a dresser. The bathrooms were nice. Overall nice place and had a great experience.
We loved our weekend at the cabin! There was plenty of room and the beds were very comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the spa was easy to access and the perfect end to the evening.
We will definitely be back!
Positivite: Great place to stay with family or friends. Very clean. Accurate description.
Negative: We forgot to clean the bbq and got charge an extra $20
Everything was great and the place was beautiful. Our only challenge was with ants so we had to be super careful about using ziplocks for everything, but thatâs the mountains, not the house. My stay was a long one and I was taken aback that it didnât include enough trash bags for the whole time. Other than that all was great!
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Nice little cabin
The cabin was nice to stay in. Everything was clean and the location was good. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you would need to cook. The parking on the driveway however is very tight and if you have a large vehicle it can be challenging. Keep this in mind as their rules state you can't part in the street.
The property management company was not very good. They overcharged us for the number of people staying even though the rules were clear that after 2 people there would be a $12 charge per person. They charged extra for every person, but when we asked to refund the money (the first 2 people are part of the base price) the property management company argued the fact even though the house rules were clear. Then when we requested another look at it, they didn't do anything and just ignored us. Disappointing considering the cabin was a pretty nice place to get away. So watch out for additional charges by them when booking.
The home was largely as described but I wish I would have paid more attention to the steep angled driveway which was a challenge to park the jeep we had due to larger tires. The house was clean inside outside of a few ants which I let them know and understand we are in the mountains.
We booked for 3 nights and at 2am the second day, there was a helicopter circling with directives to evacuate due to a "large fire". We scrambled to get our bags together and vacate. I notified via text that we were vacated at 2am. I didn't get any response and emailed who I believe was the property management company for communication. I had a lady call me back, apologize for the inconvenience (not their fault there was a structure fire 2 streets over). I stated I was happy to pay for the fees, cleaning and one night, but indicated I had no choice but to vacate Arrowhead at 2am (with nowhere to go). I requested consideration of the daily rate refund for the two days. I was promised she would talk to Lisa and respond by end of day Friday. No response. I reached out to the email again and got Lisa's number from VRBO but am honestly just frustrated and over it. The lack of communication on a mandatory evacuation, if even to say "sorry, no refunds at all" is unprofessional.
Great cottage, really liked the open floor plan downstairs. The bed in the main bedroom makes you feel like your sleeping on air. The fireplace was perfect for a relaxing evening in the mountains especially after enjoying the hot tub in the open air.
Would definitely stay again. Communication with the owner was easy and quick with responses.
