Great get away

We stayed here for Canton Flea Market. It was a great get away location. The lake was beautiful and very enjoyable in the evening. The property was very accommodating and it was located in a great area.

We spent a week here and had a great time. Lot's of fishing and relaxing lakeside. Easy access to home and lots of outdoor space!

We had a great time! We got to take our boat out and the kids loved the bunk beds. Convenient to restaurants and loved being on the lake.

Awesome place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It’s located in a very convenient location with it’s own boat launch. The property manager was awesome!! The only issue that we had was with the abandoned property across the street, on our last night there were some people staying in the abandoned house we had small children and it was a bit worrisome.

Great place but...

The house was attractive and had a great location. However, there were no sheets and pillow cases for the pull out bed, and we had to use a phone Hotspot to watch tv. One of the bedrooms was detached from the main house, so not suitable for kids. Otherwise, we loved it.

Place is tastefully decorated and the kitchen absolutely has everything you can imagine to cook with. Extra pillows on the beds and throw blankets everywhere. We didn’t find a blow dryer but luckily I had brought mine. There are pics of a third bedroom in the listing but we did not have access to it or the washer/Dryer. There were three of us but it was me, my husband and my mother so only two rooms were needed. They didn’t know that, though. Just weird but not a problem. The back deck and patio furniture were filthy but it wound up being the first week of really cold weather in December so we didn’t use it.

Hi Jackie, thank you for your review! The homeowner wanted to share the following: "We appreciate the feedback and we will order a blow dryer to accommodate our future guests. We're sorry you didn't see the bunkhouse with the extra bedroom and washer and dryer. It is off the back porch in its own little building. Our apologies about the deck. Our professional cleaner specifically cleans the deck and furniture after every guest stay, but occasionally, depending on the time of year, trees drop everything and debris can reappear if there are 1 or more days between guest stays. We hope to have another opportunity to host you in the future!"

Beautiful property

We loved the house and location next to the water. Our family had a great time hanging out on the patio and we brought tubes to float in the lake, cooked out on the grill, lit a fire even brought our dog. We definitely hope to make it back soon. Owner was very responsive and flexible.
