Great New Year’s Getaway

Beautiful spot, helpful hosts

We felt welcome and the house had everything. Caught a few fish in the pond (a bass and a couple sunfish), enjoyed and hiked around the property and had an amazing view of the full solar eclipse. Loved it there!

Private setting and very relaxing

Spent about a week there and enjoyed the well-equipped home and gorgeous property. Nice open floor plan, very clean and neat. Would definitely stay there again. Kristin was very helpful. King bedroom suite upstairs was nice a roomy and you wake up to beautiful views of the sun coming up through the trees. Hot tub was an added bonus.

A lot to do!

No need to drive around looking for something to do! It is all here! Fishing, horseshoes, water toy, hiking, firepit, hot tub, etc! Very comfortable! Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck with views of the pond! Perfect for precious family time!

After Christmas family trip

We loved our stay! The cabin had everything that we wanted. We were looking for a quiet place to go after all the Christmas craziness, where we could walk to fish, have plenty of room; and it had it all! It was less than two hours from Aledo which was a huge bonus. House was so clean and had everything we could need. Tons of room. Kristin the owner was so helpful! My entire family fell in love with Duke, the Great Dane from next door. He is so sweet. This cabin is a great find!!! Thank you for letting us come!

Dozier & Piazza Family Weekend

The house and property could not be more perfect! The house is spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen of any house I have ever rented! The owners furnished the house with nice linens and pillows, soft towels, and extra blankets. We had zero problems during our stay but know the owners would have taken care of it immediately if contacted. This house surpassed our needs and we will rent it again in the future when visiting on Canton weekend. ❤️

Trinity River Cabin - Highly Recommend

Fantastic experience in all areas. We have stayed at a lot of cabins over the years but this is our new go-to-spot. Kristin was outstanding. Easy to communicate with. The cabin has everything. We always pack our house A to Z but the place had everything you need. The property, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and perks such as laundry, jacuzzi, private fishing, barbecue, fenced in yard for dogs, views, fire pit, awesome TV channels, and so many more features made it cozy, comfortable, and relaxing. This Cabin is AWESOME!

I rent properties all over the country and this was a unique experience that checked all the boxes for a rural Texas experience. This is a luxurious cabin sitting on 20 acres, stocked pond with a boat, and a gun range on the edge of the property backing up to the Trinity River. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of games and activities including a chess set, and the house is equipped with Starlink internet courtesy of Elon! We made a fire in the fire pit and watched the stars with no light pollution. I definitely recommend this property and will rent it again next year for our annual trip to Ennis, TX and the Texas Motorplex. We also had enough room for our trailer.

Czech Fest Stay!

We stayed here to attend the 17th Annual Czech Musical Festival in Ennis - 4 adults/2 kids. Friday's weather was cool but moderate so we got in a little fishing (nothing biting) and took a small tour of the tank in the boat. Saturday was too cold and windy but Sunday we hiked down toward the river. It was too mucky to go all the way but the kids had a good time anyway. Everything was as advertised and we really enjoyed the extras that were available to us - spices, coffee, creamer, sugar, lanterns, flashlights, games, fishing poles (bring your own live bait if that's your thing), tower fans in the bedrooms, multi-chargers, extra blankets, towels, toilet paper and paper towels, etc. I normally pack these things but previous reviews indicated they would be there. There are two separate living areas, a large dining table, and stocked kitchen. Plenty of seating on couches and chairs. The grounds are well kept. A large section of the yard is fenced well if you are bringing a dog. We used the hot tub with no issues. Gave a 4 for location only because the final section of road to the house is caliche and fairly bumpy. We were in a truck but that might matter to someone in a different vehicle. Certainly not a deal breaker. Nice decorating touches, good information from the owner, and thoughtful extras. Note that it's 15 minutes to the nearest restaurants. We went to Cedar Creek Brewery and Molly's Catfish, both with good food. Yes, we would certainly come back here!

Perfect!!

This was the absolute perfect place for our traditional Christmas Season Kickoff with our grandkids. The road to get there was a little bumpy but other than that I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Such thoughtful appointments and little extras. If I needed it, it was already there. So helpful. I brought all the food we needed and didn’t have to leave to pick up anything I forgot ;) because it was already pleasantly surprisingly provided! Loved it and can’t wait to go back next year!

Amazing Cabin and Property!

Our family had the best time at Trinity River Cabin! The cabin and property were pristine and beautiful. The cabin was clean, cozy but modern, well-styled, had great views, and had all the amenities that we needed. The property was so nice and the pond and nature trails were really fun and enjoyable. There was so much space to enjoy. We loved the deck, the fire pit for s’mores, the comfortable beds, and the spacious kitchen. We felt like we had solitude and privacy, but were still close to things that we needed. The kids loved all the space to play and the little John boat. We will definitely come back! You’ll love this cabin! Perfect getaway!

Great stay with great views

My college friends and I had a great experience at this property. We get together each year and this property is at the top of the list. The interior of the home is completely updated and provided a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed the view of the pond and the space to spread out on the 20 acres. The communication with the host was incredible. Overall, top notch and highly recommend.
