Three old friends stayed here. Grew up in Greenville, which was destroyed by the Dixie Fire in 2021. We loved staying at your home and visiting all of our old haunts.

Check-in was very easy. Wi-fi and TV was great. The boat ramp access was so close and easy. Loved the area. Could use some new skillets, and a pair of tongs. The BBQ grill needs a good cleaning. A large comfortable sectional Would be much appreciated. Overall it was a great place to get away and have fun on the beautiful Lake Almanor.

The owner was very responsive. Allowed us early check in and promptly brought batteries over for smoke detector upon request. She even went over to pre-heat the hot tub for us prior to check in. The living room couch is child-sized. For a house that advertises ‘sleeps 12’ to only have living room seating for 4 adults was not comfortable at all. The fire place puts off zero heat. Not sure if it’s broken or just for ambiance. There are no blinds or coverings on any of the windows except one downstairs bedroom, so very limited privacy. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but may bother some.

Neat and clean property with everything you need to cook and clean up. Very relaxing space and we used it to take pictures of the groomsmen all suited up.

Great place, couple minor drawbacks.

The stay was great other than the shower heads in both bathrooms. I think a mister would provide more water flow.

Amazing get away!

This house was an incredible find. My kids absolutely loved staying in the upstairs rooms. Check in was a breeze! The hot tub was a huge hit for the whole family. I was also glad to see they had toys for babies because i completely forgot to bring the ones i had packed for my little guy. It was so much fun grilling out on the deck while the kids played in the hot tub. The central a/c workes way too good! We will absolutely be coming back! And there is a beautiful beach just a short drive down the road

Functional place

The property was functional and mostly clean. The grill was not clean and the heating filters need to be replaced, but the place was well equipped and worked well as a base for our day trips. It lacks a lot of personal touches and small conveniences (e.g., no facial tissues, one half roll of paper towels, towels and linens were stained); comes off as a rental property, not someone's home, but that is how it is used and it works.

Cute, quiet and clean

Very cute, quiet and clean. Beds were comfortable and we loved having our bedroom downstairs while the kids/teenagers had rooms upstairs. Lots of room and we loved the deck with enough seating for us all to eat dinner together. Unfortunately, the hottub wasn't working and we were looking forward to using it. But, our host was great with communication and tried his best to help us get it running. We definitely loved this cute cabin and had a great time at the beautiful lake!

Nifty house with comfortable beds, very clean, upstairs bedrooms have lots of beds. Great location, lots of programs to choose from on TV, fast internet and plenty of parking if needed. Kitchen is well equipped. Front porch is nice to relax on in the evenings. The washer and dryer work really well. We did not use the hot tub but it looked really nice. A new house is being built behind and they start early (7 a.m. to about 6 p.m.) the hammering and construction will echo throughout the house and neighborhood. And no blinds/curtains except for the bedrooms which was kind of weird at night but you are higher up so the neighbors couldn’t really see in. Overall it was a nice stay and great location so close to the lake and golf club.

Location was lovely. Beds and bedding fine. Small couch and 2 chairs limited seating for six adults. Unless you want to sit on a backless bench. Amenities were the real problem. Be prepared to go and buy trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen towels, sponge or brush for the sink and Kleenex. Limited towels for our 5 day stay - no extras for the hot tub. Kitchen lights did not work but our guest rep brought in someone to fix them. Unfortunately they could not be turned off due to “wiring problems”. This could be a five star property, if there was upgraded furniture in the living room and upgraded amenities.

Owner's response: "No Name, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we're sorry that you experienced some issues during your trip. - We are happy that you enjoyed the location and bedding. - We do have limited seating but it is sufficient for six adults. We have not had any complaints. - We provide our guests with the basics on the trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, and soaps but if you need more all you need to do is let us know. We do not keep an unlimited supply out because unfortunately, they tend to walk away. We would have been happy to get more of whatever you needed had you asked. - We have plenty of towels, we're not sure if you were looking for something other than what was provided, again had you let us know we could have taken care of this for you. - We apologize for the lighting issue this will be taken care of. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we are known for."
