Great location, very clean and comfortable, plenty of space for the 5 of us and host was was very kind and responsive. We would definitely recommend and hope to come again!
Conveniently located two blocks from the Seine and close to the Eiffel Tower. Loved going to Rue Cler every morning for fresh fruit and baguette. Manager Pascal greeted us open arrival and fixed the broken shower head within 24 hours. I thought the apartment was tired and old, especially the master bathroom.
Our return to Paris after our honeymoon decades ago, this was a delightful re- discovery of the City Of Light.
Paris is beyond beautiful, and like most beauties, it has itâs flaws:
Rude Parisians on the streets
Pick pockets
Traffic
Crowds at major sites
Prices
But itâs intrinsic charms, itâs joie de vive, itâs gastronomic delights are unmatched.
This charming apartment is well located to Cuty Center attractions & seeing the Effiell Tower at most every turn.
The en suite bathroom is cramped, there is limited storage space (typical in Europe), and the winding stairs are treacherous.
But is roomy for 4 (no more), the kitchen is well appointed, and street sounds waft from below (unfortunately this meant construction pounding, also typical).
Metro station a bit of walk, but Paris is a walking city. At nearby St. Dominique, there numerous, stores, shops, bakeries & restaurants.
We stayed here between Christmas and New Yearâs Day and were not disappointed. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. Check-in was easy, and Pascal was very accommodating when our flight plans were disrupted at the last minute and we arrived a day late (on Christmas morning).
The apartment was very comfortable and had plenty of room for 4 (2 parents and 2 teens). One of the bathrooms is narrow with a small shower and tight space, but is otherwise lovely. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the bedroom is a lovely bonus. The kitchen is great, every appliance you could need and well stocked with dishes, pots, utensils etc. Everything was in excellent working order. The building was very quiet. To be honest I think the description in the listing goes a little overboard in describing the apartmentâs luxuriousness, but this is not intended as criticism; we were in no way disappointed!
The location was great, lots of shops, restaurants, and bars within a minute or two walk, very close to the Seine, bus stop 2 minutes away, Metro stops about 5-6 minute walk. Overall we had a wonderful experience, were completely satisfied, and would absolutely stay here again!
We chose to stay in a new district in Paris this visit and we were not disappointed! Pascal's flat is easily accessible (2nd floor walk up), on a quiet street near many shops, restaurants of multicultural cuisines and a quick walk to the Seine, Eiffel Tower and Invalides. The nearest metro is 8mins by foot and very easy to find. The apartment itself has a modern kitchen (there is virtually no freezer though if that matters to you), a living space and dining table, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Pretty typical French in terms of size so adjust your American size expectations. Shower is narrow, beds are low and smaller than a US King but all are comfy and adequate! The view of the Eiffel Tower is a portion of the top out the larger bed room window. Again, just to be sure expectations aren't too high! Check in and check out was the simplest of any place we've ever rented and a big plus for us. Balconies are Juliette style which means the windows open in and there are rod iron half gates in front to allow you to lean out for fresh air. The building is very quiet, noise above is nearly non-existent. Only issue was one morning we were awoken by jack hammering they were doing on the sidewalk. This is France, as they say! Can't fix that and no one is to blame. Just roll with it and enjoy your coffee or escape and explore the beautiful city of lights. We will return for sure and highly recommend Pascal's apartment for your next visit to Paris.
