the lake for the bake!

The first days of summer with temps reaching 90 plus degrees we were all saved by this refreshing lakefront property with fun water toys (especially the lily pad). Our families annual get away, we have voted this very high on our charts for memories of great times!

Boating weekend on the lake

Communication was great from the start. The property was extremely clean and appeared just as it does in the pictures. The house is stocked with everything you need. We had a fantastic time and would certainly come back!

Great Place Super Clean

I can't say enough great things about this place. We loved it! They had all the necessities needed to make us feel right at home. The covered patio was so nice to sit & relax looking at the lake. We will definitely come back!

Great!

Everything was great, the house was very clean and welcoming. Bridget was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again! We enjoyed swimming, fishing and kayaking in the lake.

Perfect Spot for the family!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay here! 5 out of 5 stars! The house was clean and beds were comfortable. We had plenty of room and my boys really enjoyed the water out front. Fishing was excellent and the public boat ramp was great.

We loved the location, the beautifully decorated home and the spectacular view! It was a great weekend celebrating our 34th Anniversary and our son/daughter-in-laws 5th Anniversary! Can't wait to visit in the winter as well!

Loved our Stay on Long Lake

Everything was great from the moment we arrived. The property was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. The property is great for relaxing, fishing, swimming, floating. So nice they have kayaks, tubes, and a lily pad for your use. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook and Long Lake Bar and Grille is close for Pizza or Burgers. Great sunsets from the deck as well. We will be back!

Amazing Stay

Amazing waterfront house exactly as described in the listing. The back porch was amazing for enjoying the view of the water and playing games. House came with many extras compared to previous rental properties. If you are considering booking, I highly suggest moving forward! The communication with the owner was very easy and provided extra details for check-in, house/lake rules and allowed for early check in as we got to town before 4:00. Look forward to another stay at this location.

Fishing trip

The cottage, lake, and area leave just about nothing left to be desired. It was perfect for our father/son ice fishing trip. Everyone thought the cottage was amazing and very well setup. Also has a perfect view of the lake while relaxing inside. The host is extremely great at making you welcome and communicating. I can't speak highly enough on that account. Would absolutely love to go back here again. I highly recommend!

Mother and two daughters get away

This place is beautiful fresh and clean. Situated right on the lake with a covered porch. Bedrooms were perfect with comfortable beds. The common areas are spacious and a nice garage to park in to pack and unpack your things. It really has everything you could want including kayaks, lily pad for swimming and a nice dock if you are bringing a boat. The thing I liked most about our stay. Here is the communication with the owner. She was fantastic.

Mom and daughter get away

We had a fantastic stay! Home was immaculate and smelled fresh! Parking in the garage was handy during the rain to load and unload! Beds were so comfortable! Main bathroom was spacious. We spent most of our time on the covered porch watching the boats go by and listening to the loons! Kitchen, living room and dining area are one open inviting space! Took 30 minute drive to Tawas to shop and have lunch! 90 year old Mom absolutely loved it!

What a place! Highly recommended!

We decided to book this rental for a quiet weekend at the lake. That's exactly what we got and more. This place is awesome! Everything is very new and very clean. The owners have done a great job making this place a perfect getaway for family - or -even just a couple like my wife and I. We really enjoyed the lake - we brought our own kayaks and "floaties" but these were also available at the cabin when we arrived. Nothing says summer like grilling on the back deck while sipping a cold beverage. We would love to visit again soon. Thank you.

Outstanding Lake location

The house is beautiful, the entire reservation process was well done. Very professionally handled. Had opportunity to contact owner to answer some specific questions. They were quickly answered! This is a quite location, not a “party” atmosphere around. Some restaurants, but we enjoyed the view, the lake and cooked at home. The dock is great for a boat, the neighbors were very friendly. Family focused community. Water is clear, and inviting. Restful, quiet location perfect for enjoying nature and family. Wonderful experience, clean, beautiful and quiet! Brought memories back from childhood. Loved the week!

Love everything about this home

Easy process to rent this beautiful home, Bridget was great to work with. My husband & I with our 2 adult kids & their spouse/girlfriend along with our 16 mo grandchild! We were all comfortable. The living area is large and open with kitchen so you can still visit with everyone. A wall of Windows/door-wall facing the lake (my favorite) with a wonderful large covered patio! We rented a pontoon to explore the lake as a family. Plus we brought up a fishing boat and was very successful fishing in Long Lake, even if you dont have a boat, you can fish off the dock. Long Lake Bar has excellent pizza! The property offers alot of fun floats, pads, canoes for fun in the lake. I highly recommend this home!!

Awesome weekend getaway

Had a great weekend stay at this lake house with a few friends. Probably one of my favorite places to stay. Already recommended this house to a few other friends. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to visit and relax. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Amazing getaway

This rental exceeded all expectations. The house was immaculate, the beds were super comfy, the kitchen had lots of space, the neighbors made us feel very welcomed and the lake community was great. This was well worth the 4 hour drive.

Relaxing Getaway

Place was updated, beautiful and spotlessly clean! The house was super comfortable and the outdoors was simply amazing! Adults and children alike had a blast using the dock, kayaks, tubes, lily pad and bonfire pit. There's also a nearby boat rental where we rented a pontoon for a day. The host was a real pleasure to deal with.

Hale Lake House

So many reasons to give this exceptionally clean, open concept a 5 star rating. Starting with a gracious email "welcome!" from our hostess, to walking into a well thought out home with exceptional taste in décor, comfort and overall amenities. The long weekend with our out of town cousins was a perfect way to bond and share memories to last a lifetime. Sturdy kayaks made for a great adventure, the boaters were courteous and everybody offered a pleasant greeting as we toured Long Lake. Even made friends with the Loons! Nothing but love at this place. See you next year for more bon fires and BBQ's!!
