We chose this property for a group writing retreat and had a wonderful stay. The indoor and outdoor tables overlooking the lake were perfect for a weekend spent writing while watching the ducks and the sunset. Good internet, well-stocked kitchen, and comfy beds. We weren't that keen on the taste of the well water but had plenty of other beverages on hand. Lovely stay overall.

Waking up to the lake out front was fabulous. The campfire area was set up great, and we were provided plenty of firewood to enjoy. The accommodations were clean and awesome, and the amenities covered all our needs. The host was great to communicate with and promptly replied to every question. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful property! The house came equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. Our host responded quickly to every inquiry we had, and was very friendly. The lake is very clear and our family enjoyed kayaking, swimming, and catching a lot of perch, bass, a few pike, and even a walleye. We highly recommend spending time here if given the opportunity, we loved it!

My husband and I had such a lovely stay at Ottawa Lodge! We went to celebrate our 5th anniversary, and enjoyed every moment. The dock/beach/fire pit were great for getting outside and enjoying some beautiful mid-October weather. The kitchen was well-stocked, and anything else that we needed, we just went to the charming Alwards Market for! (make sure you get some of that bacon). We had fun playing scrabble and Monopoly, a few of the games provided. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed from our vacation!

The lake house was very clean and well stocked with all of the kitchen essentials. The neighborhood was safe, and so quiet! We spent a fair amount of time just sitting on the deck, enjoying the beauty of the lake and the peacefulness there. The loons on the lake were wonderful to hear! We enjoyed kayaking in the clear water. The host was very responsive to our questions. We would recommend this home, and will keep it in mind for a future Michigan trip.

We had the best time at the lake

We had so much fun staying in this lake home. It was clean and so comfortable. The owners thought of everything! Floating on the lake was a blast. We will definitely be back again!

Peaceful and relaxing, just what i wanted - town was about 7-minute drive. Tawas, 30 minutes out. Mike's Pizza if you don't want to cook.

My family had the best time. The home was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. The grill was clean! The kayaks and floaties were a nice touch! We loved just hanging out on the Adirondack chairs and lounging on the floaties on the beach. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Place To Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lake Taneycono Condo. It was peaceful and quiet, and of all the VRBO’s we’ve stayed in, we thought this one was the most comfortable and clean. It’s beautifully decorated and has all the amenities. There’s a back patio and green space for this dog friendly condo. My daughter’s dog loved looking out the back french doors to the trees and condos on the other side of the water. If you plan on doing any cooking, just be aware that they don’t provide any condiments. The refrigerator and freezer are empty, but they do have lots of spices for cooking and coffee for the Keurig. If you have anyone in your party that has problems with stairs, the parking is on the middle floor and you will have to go down a flight of stairs to get to the bottom floor condo. On the whole, I completely recommend this place and expect to return in the future.
