Beautiful 2 bedroom private guest cabin centrally located in the valley of beautiful Bowen Island, British Columbia. Woodlands is within walking distance to working farms, cideries, specialty food shops and trails. We are a short drive to the shopping hub of Snug Cove and Artisan Square. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch and your evenings at the fire table in our woodland garden. We offer boat tours and guided hikes throughout the Howe Sound - elevate your stay on the Salish Sea.

Quaint and quiet cottage

We had a wonderful stay. The island is beautiful and the people very kind. We enjoyed our time spent at the rental. It was just what we needed. Quiet, clean, and ready for us!

Beautiful Stay on Bowen

The four of us had a beautiful stay in this cabin. It is definitely on the smaller side but it is absolutely perfect for a getaway in the forest. I would recommend this place to anyway who is looking for somewhere to stay on Bowen. Kirsten went above and beyond to accommodate us when she was out of town with her family and even found someone to take us out on their boat while they were away. We will definitely come back to this cabin. :)

Bowen mid-week getaway

Lovely, cozy cabin near the middle of the island. Easy check in, with all that anyone would need. Owners very responsive when I had a few questions. Came in Summer, but would also work as a Winter getaway. Central so able to get to the various beaches and hikes within minutes via vehicle. Highly recommend Bowen Island Pub and Tippy’s for places to eat. Great stay! Thx

Perfect Bowen Getaway

The cabin is self contained, has absolutely everything you could need and is beautifully designed and decorated. Pictures do not do it justice. It is central to everything on Bowen! We stayed 4 nights and would have gladly moved in permanently. :) Kirsten is kind and generous and very prompt in her communion. Really cannot think of a single negative about choosing the Woodlands!!

Hi, I'm Kirsten. Mama to two beautiful children, wife to a fearless rock climber and owner of Woodlands Guesthouse Ltd. When not changing over our beautiful new suite, you can find me behind my computer creating unique brands for my graphic design clients. My favourite past times are exploring our beautiful island with our mutts and kiddos. I have lived on Bowen Island almost my entire life and cannot imagine ever leaving.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Woodlands Guesthouse has been a huge labour of love. We built this special cabin ourselves and have put a lot of thought into every little detail. Our central location makes it easy to get to the shopping hub of Snug Cove and Artisan Square or the sunset beaches on the west side of the island. We are within walking distance to beautiful trails, two brand new cider houses and unique food offerings.

Woodlands is located on the public transit route and is perfectly situated in the centre of the island allowing for easy access to our two main shopping hubs, beaches, trails, golfing (we even have a disc golf course) and so much more.
