Linda's lovely home was just perfect for our family of six adults and our fur babies. The hot tub was a lovely addition. The location is near some beautiful beaches and walks. Looking forward to coming again!

Great place to relax for Thanksgiving weekend. Wonderful wood stove, nice kitchen, and comfortable rooms.Had some hot tub issues but owner was very responsive (especially for a holiday weekend!).

Great for families! We went with another couple and their kids after a couple days in Vancouver. Very private location, but only 15 minute drive to the main strip with restaurants, kayaking, shops.

We had a great time. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. We loved the cosy log cabin feel about the house on a rainy day. Having power outlets just outside the garage where the car was meant to park was really helpful for a level 1 charge that our car needed. We look forward to coming back!

If you are looking for a cozy cottage in the woods, this is the place for you. Other people stay in the property but all the property guidelines are easy to understand and follow. The hot tub is a great feature but so is the beach only a few minute drive away.

The stay was immaculate! Easy to follow the instructions provided by the host. The area becomes quiet during the night which allows everyone to just embrace the solitude around them. Lot of space to keep to yourselves or can get cozy in the living room.

Great weekend getaway!

We had a great family getaway at Linda’s place. Check in was super easy and the place has everything you need. There’s multiple beaches within walking distance. The BBQ was great and we enjoyed eating on the patio and spending time on the sun soaked deck. Peakaboo view of the water. Would recommend!

Weekend getaway

A lovely property that feels like you're staying amongst the tree tops. A lot of beds for biggers groups means everyone gets a bed. And the BBQ on the deck makes feeding said large groups easy. Highly recommend.

This property is a great anchor for an escape from the every day to a wonder world of ocean, forests and R&R/family time that a single word like "outstanding" can not adequately describe. The house and property provides more space and amenities than we could possibly exhaust and is so user friendly. While not 5-star on a normal rating scale, i.e., shiny and new, it is beyond 5-star in accommodating, atmosphere and homeliness. When bundled with what seems like old growth forest, wildlife, the ocean and a very relaxed atmosphere; we had a vacation experience that far exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful Home - Great for Any Occasion!

My friends and I booked this home for a bachelorette weekend and were more than pleased with not only the home itself but the hosts quick response & easy to follow instructions. The beds were comfortable, home was clean and had plenty of space. I would recommend this place for any occasion whether it be for a bachelorette or family weekend away - I will be booking here again in the future!

Loved the location, close to many beaches and on the sunset side of the island! The decks including hot tub were great place to hang out and beautiful leather furniture in the living room. The living area was spacious and great for our two families. It felt very welcoming, well stocked kitchen and huge great bbq. Big fenced yard for our dog to hang out in was great.Lots of choices for sleeping with fun little nooks and pullouts for the kids.We walked to the beach with our smallest child being 5. It’s a steep climb back, but not far. If you are very particular about deep cleaning this may not be the place for you, but surfaces were clean and beds were fresh! I would be happy to stay there again if we went back to Bowen.

Pleasant get away

Linda was a great host. The property was well described. Lots of space here. Two notes to mention: the floors are thin so walking upstairs with kids downstairs sleeping can be an art. The other mention is that this property is on the other side of the island from the main tourist area. It takes about 15 minutes to get from one side to the other so it’s not far but worth mentioning. It is a 2.5 min drive from Bowen Bay beach which is one of the main swimming holes on the island.

Beautiful Home!

The house itself is STUNNING. Came with a big group of friends and everyone had an amazing time here! House was well kept and close to the beach. Linda was an amazing host. House had all the amenities needed for a fun weekend getaway! Only thing to consider is monitoring your sound in the area. Inside seems to be fine but just something to keep in mind depending on what you’re looking for!

Great spot. So many trails on Bowen. We were able to walk down to the walk, took the trails right to the Cidery (awesome) and bringing the 4 legged friends made this a great experience.

We enjoyed enjoyed our time here! Reality matched well with listing details. Quiet and roomy. Lots of space for visiting outside on decks. There is a local noise bylaw so owner requests that guests must cease outdoor socializing by 10pm sharp. Not an issue for us but worth being aware of before booking!

Needs cleaning

I expected the place to be cleaner, considering the significant cleaning fee charged to guests. The bedrooms were acceptable, but the common areas were in need of cleaning. The rug in the living room had a very unpleasant odour.
