Introducing this pet-friendly, Village Monache 1 bedroom, 1 bath located in the heart of the Village. Within the beautiful hotel, this 4th floor 1 bedroom apartment has been fully refreshed and renovated. You can relax in the cozy living room in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy the flatscreen TV with cable. The large sectional also offers additional sleeping with a Queen size sleeper sofa pull out. Enjoy your private balcony with seating to soak up the Forest and Mountain views or watch the Gondola go by. The kitchen offers a 2 burner cook top, microwave, portable Ninja air fryer and pressure cooker, and compact dishwasher so you can prepare simple meals and snacks. There is a dining area for 4. The main master bedroom features a comfortable King bed with Heavenly mattress, deluxe bedding, reading lights, wireless chargers and bath robes. The en-suite bathroom with shower/tub combo makes for a nice soak after an adventurous day. Feel comfortable in all Seasons with air-conditioning, forced air heat and the gas fireplace. Don't forget this unit and hotel is pet-friendly so you can bring Fido along too!

Take advantage of the many amenities located on grounds including year-round heated pool, jacuzzi, fitness room, designated ski locker, 24/7 marketplace, hotel laundry room, and underground heated garage parking. This is Mammoth's premier lodging facility located just above the Village proper with great access to the Village Gondola for skiing and snowboarding, all of the shops, restaurants and bars of the Village and periphery and all of the special events held during the Summer and Winter in the Village Plaza. The Village Monache is a one of a kind Mammoth experience for the traveler wanting a convenient, 5-star mountain getaway. Please Note: There is no access to the on-site Kids Club, but Mammoth Kids Daycare program is across the street in the Village.

All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. This condo sleeps a maximum of 4 people, comes with underground garage parking for one vehicle. Larger vehicles may not fit in the garage, clearance 7' 0" is non-smoking and pets are permitted. Great unit; Great location; needs more kitchen supplies

My family stayed here for 6 nights. The unit, the location, the hotel are all top notch. The only complaint that I have is the lack of dishes and utensils. There are enough of these for a party of 2, but not for a group of 4. Overall 4.9 out of 5.0 stars. I would stay here again for sure. Thank you!

Great Location, Check-In Process inconvenient

Great location. Early check in was not available, 4PM check-in time you basically lose a day. Picking up hotel and parking keys at another building is inconvenient. Pets allowed is great for pet owners, but not so great for people who are allergic. Allergies were really bad in the room. The location next to the village and gondola is ideal for easy access to shops and the mountain.

Reviewer Comments: Tried a 1 bedroom unit in the Westin Monache in the village for the first time and liked it so much I've already booked it again next month! Building and unit are very clean and good smelling. Adequate kitchen for the way my husband and I travel; mini fridge, not full size, but OK for us. Good coffee maker, microwave, 2 burner stove, and little dishwasher. Coffee packets provided but no sugar or creamer. Nice linens and furniture. Super convenient to gondola to canyon lodge BUT be prepared for the 59 steps back up to the hotel. I knew about them and consider that an acceptable tradeoff but it might be too much if you have little kids. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Check-In/Check-Out is VERY Inconvenient

We take off work to come ski mammoth a few times during the season. Unfortunately, This hotel room-size rental took 6 HOURS to clean. We basically had to pay extra parking elsewhere instead of getting into this room at a decent time given that it would normally take anyone less than 2 hours to Clean and be ready for a new arrival. You should know that there is NO onsite check-in which means you're now having to drive across Mammoth to pick up your key and parking pass AND then you have to do it AGAIN when checking out. Maybe that works for people who are leaving town and NOT going skiing like we were- WHAT a Hassel. My husband and I will not be renting this again because there was absolutely Zero upside to staying at the this location by having us drive all over to do what we SHOULD have been allowed to do in the first place ONSITE. We've stayed at the Monache before and each time we've been able to check-in no later than 1:30pm- which frees up time to be skiing- NOT waiting for housecleaning for less than 500 sq ft hotel room that should take less than 2 hrs to clean. This really blew our minds.

Modern & Cozy Hotel Apartment

Loved our stay in this cozy one bedroom hotel apartment. Everything was as described and perfectly clean (even though pet friendly). We usually stay in the condos in the village but were pleasantly surprised at how great this hotel option was. Staff was friendly, property had great amenities and super dog friendly. It was a busy time when we visited, but room was quiet and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We traveled with our teenage son and french bulldog and the space accommodated us perfectly. The only thing to keep in mind is the refrigerator is a dorm size frig. Our dog food is kept in the frig, so it filled up quickly for us. We made coffee & breakfast in the room easily. Another bonus was using the owners locker for snowboard gear. It made it much more convenient and kept our room from getting cluttered with gear. There is also a large coat rack in the entry which was clutch for jackets, etc. We definitely would stay again.

Had a problem with the Westin--refused to let us use luggage carts or hire bellman to bring our things to/from the room. Very surprised by their attitude. Only other issue is the door lock which needs to be repaired or replaced. We were concerned that we'd get locked out.
