Comfortable and clean

Our group of 11 people (ages8-78) had a great 5 night stay. The kitchen was stocked (there was even a cooler!), we had plenty of space, and the ceiling fans were an added bonus. We loved watching the deer in the yard and neighborhood. It was a great base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula.

Great place for Olympic National Park

We had a great stay at this home in a quiet neighborhood of Port Angeles. It's just a few minutes drive from the downtown area and an easy drive to the most popular sections of Olympic National Park. We had a group of 12 with three generations of family from age 7 to grandparents and we were all very comfortable. We mostly self-catered, made good use of the kitchen(s). Would stay here again, especially with a large group!

Very comfortable for a wide range of ages. We were 13-79.

Very clean and everything there that was listed when you rent. Good supply of baking and cooking equipment. We were cooking for 14 and had plenty of dishes,pans,etc. Plenty of towels for bathrooms available. Another bathroom would be nice. Thought it would be more remote but very quiet neighborhood and handy to go to store and visit downtown. Property surrounded by high fence so you don't see into neighbors yards nor they into yours. Guest house very nice as added feature.

Great House - comfy and clean

The property is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time!!

Great place; Be prepared to bring your own essentials

The place is exactly as described. Large enough to accommodate the group of 10 comfortably. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from downtown Port Angeles. One thing that surprised us was that there were no starter items for the stay. None. One trash bag or dishwasher pod would have been nice given how late we arrived and weren't able to get to a grocery store immediately.

Great home for family time

We came to have time together, meals, and outdoor activities. The large family room was perfect. Had a fire one night. Apartment olin yard for the couple that needed quiet time. The kitchen has the needed equipment to cook for many.

House is not as pictured

This house at one time was very lovely as you can see in the pictures. When we arrived, we had to open all windows to air out smoke/weed smell. I have 38 photos of damaged and dirty areas of the home. We contacted property Manager within 5 minutes of our arrival. Here is a list of what was wrong that I have pics for that I would love to show the actual owner: 1. Blood on pillowcase 2. All dirty sheets that were taken off dirty beds were rolled and shoved back in the closet. 3. floors, couches, backyard furniture, shower curtains, towels (wet and stinky in closet), walls, carpet, coffee machine, washer were all extremely dirty. 4. yard and patio had lots of weeds. Some of their yard decorations were busted and crumbled. 5. door handle broken 6. Grill was broken but replaced. 7. outside propane fire pit broken 8. garbage cans full and garbage laying in driveway. 9. We had 3 rolls of toilet paper, no dish washer detergent, no garbage sacks and no paper towels. 10. couch bed broken. I could probably keep going, but I think this should give an idea of what we walked into. We spent 3 days washing linens/bedding/towels, cleaning inside and outside of the home on our vacation. I would love to talk to the owner because their home is not being taken care of. I've asked manager for the owners contact three times now with no response. I've stayed at many homes with VRBO and this is the first time we are very disappointed and will not return

Wonderful stay!

We were so happy with the house! It was very comfortable for 3 families sharing the space. The 2 living rooms were key so the kids and adults could all have a space! Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of linens provided. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking too! Perfect stay!

This was a great property with a diversity of sleep arrangements. The ADU in teh back is great if some of your party would like more privacy.

Family get-together

This house has a quaint cottage feel yet still can fit a bunch of people. The backyard is so cute, we sat out there and the kids played for hours. We would definitely stay here again!

Great for family!

Everyone had enough space. The heating system is hard to manage in the rooms due to the heating system not having temperature gauges … they are either on or off. But we managed and had a great time! Close to where we wanted to go and see the sights in the Port Angeles area!

Not at all what advertised

I had booked this months in advance thinking it would be a good rental property. When we first got to the rental there was some trash left from the prior renter or whomever. There was paper coffee cups and water bottles and soda cans. Once we actually started going into our rooms and turning the heat on and using the amenities, issues started arising. The shower in the main house was badly clogged, we had turned it on to warm up and use but that did not work. My master bedroom also had a stale smell and stained sheets. The TV in the living room did not work the couple times we tried to use it, and it said there are more than 4 users and we were only trying to use 1. The power went out the first night for about 6-8hrs and ruined food we had and all we were told is that it’s normal. The water heater in the spare apartment also worked for maybe a minute or two. Basically all the dishes were dirty and sticky. We were pulling out baking sheets stuck to each other and cast iron pans with old food scraps and fat. Also for hundreds of dollars or so cleaning fee it was dirty and they required to many check out items for such an outrageous fee. The only good thing was the location and backyard. Host did answer quickly but was no help.

Good location, great space, very comfy

Lance was very responsive/helpful with the few questions we had during our stay. House was clean and great layout for a large group of friendly colleagues. Two large communal spaces indoors, really nice patio/back yard. Great place to stay and location very close to downtown PA. Quite neighborhood. Would stay here again!

Unfortunately my first impressions did not live up to my expectations. There was no cleaned to our arrival. Two beds have stale sheets. The toilets are in a terrible state, disgusting and dirty. Dirty mirrors. Both coffee makers were not cleaned of used coffee. Dirty kettle that cannot be cleaned. It was replaced with a new one. Dry banana peel on the stove in the guest house. We cleaned ourselves. All this is very unpleasant. In general, the house itself is large, comfortable, beautiful, but completely unprepared for guests.

Overall Nice Stay

The layout of this home and guest house accommodated our large group and allowed couples and children their own spaces. The living room and the backyard were surprisingly spacious, and we enjoyed the gas grill and fire pit! However, no one wanted to stay in the guest house as it is in need of some TLC, as is the clearly-once-beautiful-but-now-languishing back yard. Additionally, the home is in dire need of ceiling fans in each bedroom to accommodate the poor air flow in the house in the summer.

Perfect ONP family getaway

This home has been decorated to perfection and has a ton of natural light. The outdoor garden area is adorable and had ample patio seating for us to enjoy our meals together in the summer weather. The location is perfect for the park and the restaurants in Port Angeles are close too! We had some challenges with the lock (likely user error on our part) when we arrived but property manager was very quick to respond and got it all worked out super fast. Washer and dryer and dishwasher were easy to use and clean (as was the entire house!). We didn’t cook much as the take out options were excellent but kitchen and dining area very nice as well. If we come back this way would stay there again! Excellent stay for sure!

This is a great place to stay. We had a great time and this is in a perfect place to explore the national parks. We had a great time and had ample space for a family of 9.
