Amazing updates in this large beach front condo at Villa Madeira. The bright, open, remodeled kitchen features granite counter tops, state of the art stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped to prepare a delicious family meal. Beautiful flooring throughout with comfortable modern furniture and the tasteful decor make this place a great home for your vacation. A large flat screen TV, 2 recliner chairs and a new leather recliner sofa in the living room. The large screened-in balcony is the perfect spot for watching the glorious Florida sunset after enjoying a fun day on the beach. The comfortable outdoor balcony furniture is great for entertaining, sunbathing and relaxing. All three bedrooms feature TVs as well. Both bathrooms are completely updated. The main en-suite bath features a large walk-in shower. You are within walking distance to restaurants, shops and other beach activities. John’s Pass Village is less than a mile away. Full washer/dryer in the condo. Free wireless internet service and free parking is available.
The beachfront heated (in the winter) swimming pool stays warm all year long. The Tiki Hut deck has tables and chaise lounge chairs for relaxing with cool drinks and beautiful views!

Great property

The property was exactly as described and very clean upon arrival…only needed assistance with the multiple tv’s, but resolution with staff was immediate. Will definitely stay here again!

Loved the location...

Loved loved loved the location...would have been 5 stars had the unit not been so hot...even with AC on 69 the master bed/bath with ceiling fan going was very warm...we bought a box fan and that’s what got us through the week! Owner was great with communication and the unit was stocked great!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed the condo. With the thermostat registering 69 in the hallway, the master bedroom, just 3 feet away from that point couldn't be much warmer than 71...everyone is different and I never get complaints about it from anyone else. Bringing down the temp to 69 at the end of June is pretty good for most. Pam

Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Would recommend upgrading living room furniture and mattresses as well replacing some kitchen appliances as they are aged (coffee pot and microwave). Overall, we had a good experience.

Two weeks later I replaced the Queen and Twin beds in the 2nd bedroom with new and amazing beds! I also replaced the living room sofa with a brand new white leather dual recliner sofa. You speak...I listen! I just reupholstered the 2 recliners 1 year ago. Everyone has their own preferences on mattress comfort. The day after I received your opinion about the mattresses, I received this email: Hi Pam, Happy New Year! Sorry to bother you but Bill has been hounding me to ask you the type of mattress and box springs, topper pad, pillows the whole kit and kaboodle used on your king beds. We have experienced the best night sleep when we stay at Villa Madeira......once at 207 and twice at 309. We’d appreciate the info if possible at your convenience. Thank you. Carmen Pam

Enjoyed our stay

Our stay was great, thankyou! Just 2 things to note: The management office to pick up the keys is quite far, if there is an alternate place to pick up and drop off that would be better. I don't think the dishwasher works. After doing a couple of loads, food remained on the dishes so that's probably why people in other reviews complained about food still on dishes. Otherwise, great rental, we had a very nice time.

Nice Place BUT.....

Condo was in a great area close to services. I would stay in the same building, but I would suggest to the owner makes a little more effort on the bedding and kitchen pans. Pans are very old and burn even eggs. Bedding feels old and dirty. Everything else was great.

Nice Beach

The space was perfect for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. However, the unit lacked maintenance. Paint chipping on kitchen cabinets, oven door handle fell off, laundry door fell off, dust everywhere, and mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. Inconvenient to have to pick up/ drop off a key off site and carry the key everywhere you go to get back into the lobby, elevator was extremely slow and would get stuck on the third floor. Access to the beach would be better if you didn’t have to walk through the parking garage. Screens in balcony and balcony bar prevents a decent view especially since the chairs on the balcony were short and placed a balcony rail in the line of sight of the beach. Overall the space was okay.

Annual Beach Week not as expected

Having vacationed on the Gulf for over 30 years, we encountered a condo that was less than expected in terms of cleanliness, dust was on walls, fans and other noticeable surfaces. The king bed's mattress could use a replacement, light bulbs missing, some fixtures not working, one cable box not functional, sliding glass doors could use an upgrade, and pots pans silverware scarce, garbage track broken/cabinet could use some repainting. This didn't stop us from enjoying the unusually rough surf on the beach. However, the wifi, smart-tv's in master, front bedroom and dining were great for entertainment on the rainy days.

This properties location and beach are great, but there are definitely nicer units available. 4/24/22 review accurate- unit interior and furniture are shoddy, mattresses are worn out, balcony furniture is, too. Only two bath towels in each bathroom, no hand soap, beach towels or even salt/pepper. There were 3 dish washer soap pods, not an extra trash bag. I am from Clearwater originally and have been staying at this property for over 20 years, this was one of the worst units I’ve stayed at, and the only one that didn’t have keys in the lockbox on the property.

Great Location, A Bit Dated

The location was great and we enjoyed the covered screened-in balcony with ceiling fan a lot when not on the beach which is right outside. The unit overall was a bit dated, old mattresses, doors that stick, things just need a spruce up here and there. And they need some entryway rugs. It was hard to contain the sand without one single rug at the front door or hallway. We flew in so didn't have extra towels, and had to use the bath mats as entry containment. Still a good value though. We were there over 4th of July week, and there were fireworks right outside on the beach from dusk until about 10pm and then it was quiet. So nice! We enjoyed the show easily from the balcony and the beach. Note that key pickup is NOT at the building, and is about 10-15 minutes away.

Christmas Vacation

Check in staff was amazing. Location was great. Condo was clean on check in. My biggest concern is that the smallest of the bedrooms does not have an egress window, it's just a room with a door inside the condo. I'm not familiar with Florida building codes, but if there is a fire, that person is trapped. I didn't realize this prior to booking. The patio doors did not properly close / lock. There was a gap at the very bottom of the doors and the screened in balcony was missing a screen. Their kitchen "hot water", was less than room temp, but the bathrooms were fine. The cabinet door was missing a portion of the veneer (?) facing, and I purchased some utensils and left them there (not an issue). Closet door to laundry facility needs fixing. The beds were super comfy.

DO NOT rent unit 207

Vrbo description totally FALSE. This unit was not updated. VERY outdated and dirty. Mold on shower curtain, no beach towels (we had to go buy then when we flew home all the towels put our luggage over weight), wallpaper peeling off walls, fronts of kitchen cabinets peeling off, hole in wall where door opens in bathroom because no care to install doorstop, no fan in master shower so everything steamy & wet after each shower, dresser in master drawers broken, scratchy sheets, master bed was comfortable but adults in other bedrooms said beds very uncomfortable plus street noise at night so loud they did not sleep well, property mgmt rude and would not help remedy any issues. VERY inconvenient to pickup keys offsight and also have to return offsight. Description said 8min drive but not possible with draw bridge, pedestrian traffic and volume of traffic. Plus it is opposite direction from airport. Keys needed to get IN and OUT of all gates and doors. Only 2 keys. Very inconvenient when you have more than 2 in yout party. Beach and area excellent....just find a different place to stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: An ok condo with a basic pool and easy access to the uncrowded beach. Having to have a key (as opposed to a passcode) is a pain to get in and out of everything. Ac in our unit barely held 81 degrees through the day. Condo was ok but very expensive for what you get compared to other places we have stayed. The condo and overall property is clean.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful views from balcony, easy access to the beach and attractions. Walking distance to restaurants and sweet shops. Enjoyed our stay so much we didn’t want to leave. Unit was spacious with plenty of parking available. Unit was clean, cable tv was not great but not important. The pool was awesome and we used it everyday. Only downside was the inconvenience of picking up the keys. Drive was way out of our way and not quick to get to. Could improve that by using the key boxes at the unit.

Villa Madeira review

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo complex was nice with convenient location. They turned the heater off on the pool so the one nice day of weather we had we couldn’t even use the pool. Unit 207 needs some definite TLC and a deep cleaning. Beds were comfortable but no blankets to use just sheets. The process of picking up keys in St Pete is very inconvenient there needs to be a lock box at the property.

Outstanding

My husband and I had our first vacation alone together in 35 years of marriage. We spent 3 nights at the condo before our children joined us for Thanksgiving and the remainder of the week. The condo was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed. We can't wait to come back. Thank you, Pam, for allowing us to stay at your beautiful condo.

Perfect Location and View

The condo was just as expected and the previous reviews were accurate. We had an awesome time and enjoyed our stay. The key situation to get onto the beach and into the pool, and bathroom were a little cumbersome at time with small children but the view from the balcony made up for it.

Perfect location and has everything you need!

This condo was in a great location- there are several restaurants nearby but the area did not feel too commercialized which we loved! Pam has the condo perfectly stocked and it has everything you need. The beds were comfy- my mom said it was the best mattress she’s ever slept on! We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
