The property was beautiful. The cleanliness and communication with the "host" or contact person no so much. James told me he was at a funeral when I attempted to get ahold of him and I never heard from him again. The cabin was not ready upon our arrival.

Good but issues

Thankful for the weekend w family. We enjoyed the home and pool for our get together. But disappointed this property is not better maintained. Each load of dishes had to be done twice because dishwasher is not the best, icemaker makes ice but doesn’t disburse ice out the door as it should, 3 jetted tubs in each bedroom , 2 didn’t work(1 we didn’t try) the worst of it all was the stench of the carpet once you were about half way up the stairs. Almost like dog pee saturated carpet or possibly carpet that has gotten very wet and not cleaned. The small inconveniences of the tubs and ice maker were just that, tiny inconveniences. The hot tub and pool and great family space was amazing. My family thoroughly enjoyed it. I did not call the owner about any of these issues , as I said it didn’t greatly affect us. The smell was the biggest complaint but why call the owner… all they could do was replace carpet.

Very nice property. Easy to find and plenty of parking room. We was able to just stay there and have all the fun we needed. I will definitely be staying there again.

The home itself was beautiful. I would recommend following up on your cleaning crew. There was spiderwebs in the windows on the inside, cobwebs on the wall decor, some trash under the sinks and on the porches. The 2nd story bedroom at the top of the stairs had a urine smell and when the bed was stripped the mattress protector was very stained and needed replaced. The 2nd floor porch on the front of the home has a huge hornet nest forming with hornets please take care of this so a child doesn’t get attacked if they go on that porch. The pool was clean but needs to be a bit cooler in temperature. The hot tub needs the jets cleaned. Only one jet worked really well. The home smelled a bit musty when you first walked in so we purchased candles that helped. The fusball table needs balls because there wasn’t any there. I phoned and requested some but they were never brought to us. All in all it was a relaxing vacation just needs a few attention to details fixed.

First night there the power was out which absolutely couldn’t have been helped and I was refunded for that night which was appreciated. There was no flashlights or candles found in the cabin I had to go buy flashlights. Internet upstairs would not work in either bedroom the entire stay. Toilet in up stairs bathroom did not flush properly, no water pressure in one bathroom. The arcade game the buttons on it stuck a lot so kids couldn’t play that. There was no air hokey table like in picture. Tv in movie room was super small. Cabin wasn’t very clean cob webs, dust, stuff on carpets. Not a big enough hot water heater one person could take a shower and the hot water was out. Not even enough hot water to fill the jetted tubs which are in every king sized bedroom. Hot tub was hot but jets wasn’t working pool was dirty. The cabin itself was beautiful but it needs some serious updating

Great house really comfortable me and my family loves it a lot. I really 100% recommend it for your next vacGreat. Trip, not to far from the main attractions. Pool and spa are greats but make sure to bring a mosquito repellent for outside events. Other than that everything great.

This ain’t the place for the price

Upon arrival, cabin was dirty . One of up stairs bathroom had hair in bath tub, and toilet had not been cleaned. The toilet was broken in up stairs that we fixed so that we could use it. Kitchen table had food and crumbs all over Crumbs and food under table. Upon arrival the house was so hot registered 78 degrees. The ice from the ice maker was found to have mold on after consumption. Two live roaches were found and killed. Fans in pool area not working, took the hot tub a long time to heat up, and then became cool again after five minutes, and jets in hot tub were not working. Lock in pool area exit door was broke, mold also found in pool area as well. Also with the heavy rain that we got on Saturday ceiling was leaking in first floor bedroom. A band aide was found stuck to wall in pool area. Sweeper on carpet areas had not been ran. We called the property manager about the broken toilet, and the leaking toilet, and roaches, he said he was going to stop by but he did not while we were there. So none of this was addressed during our stay. Not pleased with our stay.

Husband’s birthday

Great cabin for the price for my husbands birthday. We really enjoyed the pool and the theatre room. Everything you need to cook is there even a crockpot. It could use a deep clean on the floors and carpet but the beds, tubs, and showers were very clean.

Wonderful cabin experience

Cabin was great. Pool was perfect, clean and WARM!! Kids could get right in. Everything we needed to make amazing memories. Had a few minor issues. The cabin temp upstairs was 52 and took the better part of 2 days to heat up. Stairs were covered in snow, never did figure out how to work the fire place. Called the property manager about the heat and he was severely ill. Even I'll be tries to get someone out to look at the heat. I believe had he been well it'd of been taken care of right away. It is far from things, so get what you need before you get there. We would absolutely stay again. Kids made amazing memories I'm very thankful for!!!

The cabin was everything we needed and more. However I would strongly suggest removing the carpet in the bedroom downstairs and upstairs.

Disappointing cleanliness and upkeep

We stay at many vacation rental homes in several states. This did not meet basic hotel standards, let alone a home. Made contact day one and no response. Trash bins full upon arrival, missing crockpot, (for meal planned and brought), silverware, knives, not enough trash bags, soaps, towels for bathrooms and kitchen, papertowels toilet paper, no kleenex. Two outdoor charcoal grills, not operational until we blocked holes and took shelf from one to put on other and made it work. Yard debris from downed trees and replaced deck rails left laying around. Screws and nails left in dangerous path of children. Filthy, moldy deck furniture. Windows had nests, debris on them. All floors inside dirty. Tiles cracked, walls cracked, toilets leaking, pool got cold, despite only used a few times and covered. Pool lights not working, ventilation needs cleaned, fixed, chlorine smell all of house, hot tub jets not working, cool temp. Very small TV, poor sound for big theater room. Pool cue tips broken, missing, Foosball table too unlevel to play. No dice for Yahtzee, though, found them outside and other places.. Dusty, dirty, everywhere, pictures, decorations, shelves, blinds lights, fans. Glad to be out hiking most days! This house needs updates and deep cleaning.
