A beautiful stay in a beautiful home

I recently returned from a month staying in this beautiful home. From the moment I walked through the door, I never fully got over the beautiful view and setting. My adult children and grandson came for the first week and a half, and three girl friends came for the second week and a half. Two totally different vacations
a family vacation followed by an adult women’s vacation. The home was perfect for both groups. We were in the pool and hot tub every day, we grilled outside almost every other day, and we were constantly on the beautiful lanai. We went on long walks through the neighborhood and met many of the friendly residents. We went to four different restaurants and had a great experience. We saw dolphins and rays in the water, auspreys and bald eagles in the sky
.and the sunsets were incredible. The cage is off the pool, so we did spray every day for mosquitoes and insects, but did appreciate the unobstructed view. I would definitely stay in this home again and thank you for such a beautiful place to make memories. The pool people came weekly and were very quick and friendly. We were able to reach the house manager easily with any questions that we had. Thank you!

Wonderful

Everything was wonderful the home and area right on the water. Got in a little swimming, relaxing and a little fishing. Property manager very attentive to our needs and prompt. Anyone who visits will be very content.

Great Getaway Home

We were very pleased with the house. The only issue we had was the BBQ did not have propane so we had to cook our hamburgers on the stove. The property manager was very responsive and had it filled the next day.

Plumbing issues! Completely non-responsive property manager from beginning to end

Well I suppose anyone better not have a problem when they stay here because absolutely no one from this Roelens company/property managers will ever reply. We called and left 4 voice messages- got no reply. I text and I got no reply. We emailed and got no reply. The home was in a good spot on the water and seemed nicely laid out and well furnished. Thats all the good I can say...During the back half of our stay the sewer water came up into all three showers about 2" high and made the bathrooms wreak and made the showers unusable. It was pretty gross and unsanitary and disappointing to have these plumbing issues at an expensive VRBO home rental. The toilets would hardly ever flush down correctly. The grill is a mess and only 10% actually worked. The pool heater hardly worked so the water was quite cold and kids didnt want to go in. All issues I think could be fixed or maybe there was info that couldve been shared, but again no one ever replied or picked up or text back or wrote back to literally any outreach during our entire trip. Even reaching out again after the trip was over to let them know of issues for future guests to be able to avoid and giving many days to reply-- we STILL got no response from Koen Roelens. Simply put, would never recommend this stay or this property host and VRBO should probably reconsider this listing being on here. That is all.
