The Space:
Luna Suite at ESJ is a beautiful and modern one-bedroom apartment on Isla Verde Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico and arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. Luna Suite is located at the coveted ESJ Towers which offers some of the best amenities in the area, including a lobby bar and restaurant, direct beach access, and parking. The apartment is located 5 minutes from Luis Muñoz Marin Airport.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This apartment is for guests that enjoy air conditioning (AC) because it is not permitted to turn the AC off. Guests must have the air AC on 24-7 at 72 degrees. If AC is turned off, the floor gets wet from condensation caused by the lower-level neighbor having his AC on. If you don't like AC, please do not book this property. 

PLEASE NOTE: Until further notice, access to the pool deck and use of the pool facilities will be closed to the owners and all visitors. This is due to repairs by the administration. 

UPDATE TO NOTE ABOVE: On 5/13/2025 we were informed by the building administrators that they will finally begin Phase 1 of a new pool area. Phase 1 consists of demolishing the old structure and removing debris. Between Phase 1 and the rest of the project, there will be work going on from 8:00am until 5:00pm. There will be noise. If you booked after this date, you are booking knowing full well of this project. If you are sensitive to noise, we don't recommend booking at ESJ Towers.

Friendly reminder that this listing *does not* promote a pool at the building - it is not a listed amenity nor a missing amenity. This is something that will be added as an amenity once the work is done and the pool is open for visitors.

LIVING AREAS

You will love the relaxed and colorful decoration and design of this 750-square-foot apartment from the moment you enter. There is a 4 person dining table with dark blue chairs. The kitchen counter has an additional seating area with 2 royal blue counter stools. The living room has a large flatscreen, a comfortable sofa, and a private balcony. 

 
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS

The master bedroom has 2 queen-size beds. There is a large flatscreen TV in front of the bed, one nightstand, and a dedicated workstation desk perfect for those working remotely. The windows have blackout window treatments. The bedroom has a brand new standing shower and sinks with a beautiful marble top. Please note there is a full washer & dryer located in the closet in front of the master bedroom.

PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):

We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.

 
KITCHEN

Luna Suite at ESJ has a brand new European kitchen with white quartz countertops and a beautiful marble backsplash. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stovetop, full fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The kitchen has everything you will need for an extended stay. 


PARKING

The apartment does not have an assigned parking. however, you may park at any parking spot labeled as a Guest Parking.

 
LOCATION

Luna Suite at ESJ is located on Isla Verde Beach, Puerto Rico. This is arguably the best urban beach in the Caribbean. The beach is 1.5 miles long and the Isla Verde strip has a long list of dining and nightlife options. The apartment is 5 minutes from the airport and has car rentals, supermarkets, a Walgreens, and multiple hotels and Casinos all within walking distance. There are many things to do in the surrounding areas, here are some of our favorites:

Chill at the beach! It is one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Luna Suite at ESJ. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at La Placita de Santurce; a local market with 20+ restaurants and awesome nightlife. We love Santaella restaurant; a local cuisine with a modern approach located in La Placita.
Shop at  The Mall of San Juan. This brand new mall is a 10-minute drive from the apartment and has excellent shops and dining options.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 30-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Luna Suite at ESJ is a 15 min drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food and drinks to savor.


TRAVEL INSURANCE

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, especially during the peak months of Hurricane Season, which are July to October. Travel insurance is inexpensive and will reimburse travelers for most expenses associated with canceling travel outside of the cancellation window; however, this will depend on what the coverage purchased covers. Make sure to review and understand the options before purchase. Disclaimer: we are not associated with any travel insurance companies.


AMENITIES

West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs, and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel-size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 roll of paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.

 
HOUSE RULES

Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS: No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 4 adults/children at all times. This includes visitors. 
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am, no parties or noisy activities during these hours
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged.
Subletting not allowed
Do not hang towels from the balcony or windows
