Quick Family Getaway

The house was perfect for our family getaway with our adult children and young grandson. Plenty of room to spread out and privacy for everyone when needed. The house was very clean. It was a huge plus that linens and towels were provided. We loved that there were things to do at the house like ping pong, air hockey and old school arcade games. We played them all. The hot tub was a plus as well. We did not want to cook so we appreciated the dining options that were so close to the house. We had dinners at the Boulder View Tavern and Shennanigans and breakfasts at Piggy’s and the Terrace Cafe (so cute) and the food was great at all four places. We even got pizza from Nick’s which was delicious as well. The weather cooperated on Saturday with some sunshine so we took a walk to Big Boulder lake. All in all, a great little weekend away!

Great house and perfect location!

Our group of 8 adults and 4 children loved this house! It was the perfect size for us! Each family had their own sleeping space. The living room, dining area and kitchen were very spacious and gave our group plenty of room to relax and unwind. It only took us a few minutes to drive Jack Frost or Big Boulder. The house was clean when we arrived and the kitchen offered a ton of storage space. Parking was limited. We did read that in the check-in instructions. However, we were not aware ahead of time that only two additional vehicles could park in the guest lot. It was not a problem for us, but it would have been helpful to know this in advance. We also had a minor issue with the bathtubs draining slowly due to hair clogs. We were able to fix it on our own but a little maintanence would be helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this home and I would stay here again!

Annual Summer Vacation

We are a group of seven adults that go on a yearly week long vacation. We choose VRBO for our stay as we have such good luck with the properties we have rented over the past eight years.We have been rated 5 star guests at each stay. We arrived at the Lake Harmony rental on Sunday August 6th in the early evening. We immediately noted several things, there was only one towel for each person, no bathmats.The closets were full of broken furniture and several light bulbs were out.As we got settled it was very evident how dirty this house was. We then started taking pictures as we started noticing more and more. The toilet in the master was absolutely filthy.We were very disappointed as we had paid a large cleaning fee in our agreement. I personally sent an email to the contact person in regard to atleast the towels with no response. I then called the number listed the following morning. I spoke to a woman names Colleen who was nothing less than rude, belligerent and condescending. She was very argumentative say we had a washer and dryer for the towels to wash them. We were not left any laundry soap or supplies, also only one pod for a week of dishes. We left for the day and came back to a bag on our door with three light bulbs, three towel bathmats,three rolls of toilet paper and a small laundry soap and dryer sheets. No more towels. The next incident was that we traveled from out of state with a trailer. No where was it mentioned in the description trailers were not allowed.

Girls weekend

The check in process was easy. The property was clean and beautiful. The property was close to restaurants, bars and activities. We went on a girls weekend to relax and recharge before the holiday rush.

Good, clean house but needs some minor maintenance

The house was great, clean for the most part BUT the grill was disgusting and not usable and there was no grill brush to even clean it with. Minor maintenance in terms of several light bulbs being out, bathroom tiles being loose, toilet paper holder is broken, multiple jets in the hot tub don't work plus the water was dirty. The listing says theirs a pool table and in the picture it looks like a regular pool table but its actually bumper pool which the pieces are loose for. The Foosball table is old and broken, the basketball hoop scoreboard doesn't work or needs new batteries. Only other issue was the amount of toilet paper and paper towels that were left was not sufficient for how many people and our length of stay. We had to go buy some which I wish we knew, I would've just brought from home. I would absolutely stay again, just needs some love.

Great place

Great location to all the nearby restaurants! House was extremely clean and was the perfect size for our party of 12. The house manager was wonderful!!! We thought we had an issue with gas fireplace and she immediately came over to check on it. I would definitely recommend staying at this location.

Great for groups!

Enjoyed a great weekend with 5 couples. House is very clean, hot tub was a big hit, dining room table and living room couch were big enough for all of us at the same time. Would stay again.
