Deux chambres, 1 cabine de bain confortable au bord de l'eau dans une communauté fermée avec Wi-Fi, téléphone fixe et télévision par câble. Que vous souhaitiez une escapade tranquille et paisible ou des vacances actives remplies de plaisir aquatique, cette cabine est faite pour vous. Profitez de notre foyer extérieur. Super endroit pour la randonnée, y compris le sentier des Appalaches (à moins de 20 minutes). Summers, apportez votre propre bateau (rampe de mise à l'eau à l'entrée de la communauté) ou utilisez notre canoë et kayak pour profiter du magnifique lac Nantahala. Ski nautique sur son faible trafic, des eaux cristallines ou explorez paisiblement ses belles criques avec notre canoë ou kayak. Escaliers solides jusqu'au quai. La vue depuis le pont arrière de la maison est magnifique. Beaucoup de sièges sur le pont pour profiter de la vue sur le lac et la faune abondante qu'il offre. Apportez votre canne à pêche! Attrapez une variété de poissons, notamment le saumon Kokanee, la truite arc-en-ciel, le crapet, le doré et l'achigan. Près du rafting en eau vive de la rivière Nantahala, du parc national de Smokey Mountain, du sentier des Appalaches, du barrage de Fontana, du lac Santeetlah, de la forêt commémorative Joyce Kilmer et de la queue des 318 courbes de Dragon à 18 km. (Motards bienvenus).

Bien que cette cabane soit située à 3400 'd'altitude, elle est très facile d'accès depuis Andrews / Murphy, NC, avec des routes sinueuses minimales pour se rendre à ce paradis lac de montagne isolé. Andrews, NC est à moins de 20 minutes où vous pouvez trouver une grande épicerie et d'autres magasins et magasins.

A very relaxing stay

My husband, our kids and myself came for a short stay to visit with his parents who live in Andrews. This was the perfect place for us. We all enjoyed the lake so much. The kids had so much fun with the paddle boards and the kayak. The house was nice and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and have already discussed staying here again!

Home Away From Home!

My family loved everything about this home and cannot wait to return. The host was very helpful and communicative. The home was well-appointed and very clean. It has clearly been carefully and lovingly maintained. It didn’t feel like a typical vacation rental, but truly like someone’s home. We enjoyed watching the hummingbirds off the porch and of course, the lake! There were lots of fun toys, floats, kayaks, canoe, paddle boards to play with. The home is so comfortable and cozy. The view is gorgeous. We cannot say enough good things! We were sad to leave and cannot wait to return!

Beautiful and calming!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. The view is stunning and watching the humming birds buzz around the deck was so much fun. While our trips up and down the stairs were a challenge for my husband and myself, our adult son had no problem. We even made a game of it to see how far we could go without stopping! The kitchen was easy to use, and the beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this cabin for a recharge of the batteries!

A little bit of heaven

Perfect cabin/home in a perfect spot on a beautiful lake. Only 3 nights, but we ached to stay longer. Simply a wonderful stay in a wonderful place; we never got in our vehicle. Yes, the steps were many to the dock, but we actually enjoyed the challenge. The home lacked nothing at all. We WILL be back. Thanks SO much...

Mother Natures Wonderful Views

Lake Nantahala is a wonderful sharing of all her glory. The views of the lake are spectacular as the birds share the songs of joy. As mentioned in many reviews the 202 steps to the floating dock are a bit daunting but most likely helped us burn off some of those unnecessary calories. The wifi was fine for our email and brief web surfing needs and even worked well with streaming on the TV. The access road to the property is good enough for access to the cabin by car. The home is inside a gated community so security is very good. Clothing storage is a bit limited with one closet with a few hangers and no hanging storage in the guest bedroom for longer stays. As it was only the 2 of us and we were at the property for 22 nights we used the spare bedroom bed to lay out our clothes. The kayak, paddle boards, and canoe are wonderful to use for exploring around the lake and it’s coves. The gas fire pit on the lower deck is a nice addition for those cooler nights. There are some nice covered deck areas on the lower decks for those damp days. The gas grill on the upper deck is in excellent condition and works very well. John & Cynthia have provided a wonderful home home to enjoy the wonderful views that Lake Nantahala provides. If you are a smaller group that is looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city this is a wonderful escape. Thanks to the host for their wonderful communication. We hope to in the near future take advantage of the great property again.

Everything clean orderly. Not for the elderly or small children .Two hundred narrow steps down to lake with low railing. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Great lakeside retreat

This cabin is perfect - beautiful, well-kept, and clean. We enjoyed our week-long stay with our two young children. The main deck overlooking the lake was a favorite hangout. It was fantastic to be able to use the canoe and kayak. We rented a pontoon for two days and kept it overnight at the dock without issue. Highly recommend! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Perfect Getaway

Everything was perfect. The location is a gorgeous fifty feet above the lake giving a perspective to the dock and distant shore. We loved the long climb of stairs! The cabin is pristine and well-appointed. Thank you for arranging the swarm of fireflies at twilight. That was a nice touch for a magical week!

beautiful & quiet

This home was extremely clean and perfectly located on the lake. Easy to get to. Beautiful views from the upper deck and the dock. We didn't find the stairs to be an issue. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house was easy to get to. We enjoyed the canoe and kayak. This lake is one of the quietest places we've ever vacationed - it was absolutely wonderful.

Tranquility

If peace and relaxation is what you seek while having easy access to the lake and great hikes in the area, this cabin is for you. The cabin is well-appointed and has a beautiful view of Nantahala Lake. The owners were great to work with. Yes the stairs to the firepit and dock can be a bit of a challenge but totally worth it!

Relaxing week in the mountains.

With COViD-19, my husband and I were just looking for a safe place to relax and get away from all the madness at work. This property was perfect. We didn’t do much, but we did take a drive on the “tail of the dragon” nearby and took a few hikes. Mostly we were just homebodies where we enjoyed the spectacular view and enjoyed each other’s company.

Amazing views, immaculate, quite Cabin

Spending a week away from the busy world was one of the best vacations my family and I have had. We had a great use of the provided kayak and canoe. We Spent a lot of time on the water or hiking At the numerous awesome hikeing trails.

Peaceful Treetop Retreat

Immaculately clean, serene, comfortably furnished. The two hundred steps down to the lake were a bit of a challenge, but we used them for our daily exercise. Gorgeous lake. Wonderfully quiet location.

A perfect place to have the best family time!

My family of six had the most wonderful time at this lake house. Just enough space for two adults and four youngsters (ages 5-12), we thoroughly enjoyed the lake, the canoe and kayak, the dock, the fire pit, the deck and all the great outdoor spaces. The view of the lake at sunset was spectacular! And I think the fresh air and morning view from the deck made my morning coffee even better. A little time spent in those rocking chairs starts the day out just right! The place is immaculately clean and our kids loved the board games and movies provided. Communication with the owners was easy and prompt. We truly hope to stay here again-while it is away from the hustle and bustle, it is easy to get to Bryson City, Cherokee, the Nantahala Outdoor Center and the Great Smoky Mountains. I have already recommended this home to friends and family and will continue to do so! And bonus—walking up and down all those stairs are a great way to burn off all the s’mores you can enjoy at the fire pit!

We purchased the property because we wanted a mountain/lake getaway. We like to hike, fish, water ski and pontoon on the lake. This cabin works! We hope it works for you too!

We do not allow pets mainly because on of our children has allergies. This is a clean cabin and we want to keep it that way. Thanks for your cooperation!
