The Bower- Cosy coastal cabin

A private self contained cabin, cosy and comfortable with a loft bed, outdoor bbq area, additional hot outdoor shower and bushland views. Only a 2 minute stroll to Bawley Beach. The guesthouse is detached from the main house which is a recently completed environmentally friendly, shipping container home. We also have a resident bower bird, hence the name.
Bawley Point offers a wide range of activities for visitors and the hosts will be more than happy to assist with local knowledge to make the most of your stay.

We had everything we needed in this accommodation. It was in an ideal position for us, and we loved the beautiful natural surroundings. The host was helpful and responsive. A great place to explore the area.

Perfect stay

Stayed at Jake’s place just for the weekend for a friends wedding. It was a perfect little spot for everything I needed. Within walking distance of Luci’s cafe and the beaches. Loved the set up of the Cabin, had more than I was expecting. Check in process was simple and easy.

Like in a shell.

A very cozy, quiet cabin with all the amenities and many useful little touches. The days flew by. There are many beautiful beaches within walking distance. The sand stays outside thanks to the rustic outdoor shower.

Affordable Coastal Fun

This delightful accommodation, set in a beautiful bush setting is just a short stroll to the beach. Perfect for myself and my two children to spend quality time together. We will be back!

We loved the beautiful surrounding forrest and walk through to the beach. It was peaceful and lovely to relax in the yard . Some how the mozzies got in at night, so maybe some fly screens need mending. Also as we took food and we had ice bricks we needed to refreeze for the trip home, it would have been good if the freezer door was easier to open as the freezer was iced up . Apart from that the apartment was cosy and well appointed.

Nice little stopover

We stayed 2 nights to break the journey home and it was very pleasant. Compact but with everything you need. Very quiet. Easy communication with the friendly owners. Wouldn t hesitate to recommend to others

Coastal cosy and tranquil cabin

The cabin is wonderful- great location close to the beach. Hosts were fantastic and very accomodating with check-out. We loved the outdoor shower and fireplace- perfect for cooler weather too. The bed is in a small area and so a bit tricky to move around. But otherwise highly recommend for a peaceful time in nature and by the beach!

Affordable place to stay in. Self-contained cabin Cons: - It was advertised as free breakfast but with only 4 oatmeal sachets for a family of 4 on a 5D4N stay? I call that false advertisement. - There was no water while my hair was full of shampoo and had to wait under the shower until the pump/filter was fixed. Nevertheless, Jake was very quick in responding to the issue - During a hot day, sleeping at the loft bed is too hot

Great value, very clean and well setup property. Lots of things to do like board games, bbq, bonfire, even books. Feels like camping with convenience. Beaches are also very conveniently located nearby

Peaceful Beach Cabin

Perfectly located with a short walk to two beaches and a short drive to Cafes and an IGA. Cozy and Clean. A perfect place to get away and work on that business plan!

Amazing

We were very satisfied with our stay. It’s cosy and welcoming and we had most things we needed for a few days stay. Only things that would have been helpful is an oven to cook dinners. But overall it’s a lovely little place to stay in, host jake were friendly. The bed is quite close to the roof but comfy. Great little place to stay for a few days.

Short stay at Bawley Point

We had a lovely time, hosts are very friendly, cabin was cosy and welcoming, it was great to be able to cook/barbecue, and the beach is just a stroll away. Highly recommend!

Bower stay retreat

Property quick walk to 2 beaches. Could hear the sea at night. Sleeping in the loft bed was like being a kid again, staying in the ultimate tree house! Cottage comfy, quiet and private. Lovely outlook into a forest. Enjoyed a night using bbq and watching flames in the fire pit. Watched dolphins swimming from Bawley Point. A most pleasant weekend :)
