Newly renovated single family home with direct water access to Tampa Bay

Our home has been renovated with a fresh new nautical theme. Located on a deep water canal with direct access to the best fishing spots in the Tampa Bay Area. This home features 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with dining area, game room, living room and 2 bathrooms. Open porch in the front and enclosed lanai which features a beautiful salt water HEATED pool. Nov 1st through March 31st. 76-83 degrees max. Please keep in mind that outside temperature must remain at about 60 degrees for water temperature to reach ideal warmth. If it’s cold outside, meaning below 60 degrees, heater will not be able to keep up and it is beyond our control. It is not a hot tub and it can not function as one.
Garage is not accessible to guests as it is used by a owners as private quarters (small studio) when guests are using the main house. There is no access to the home from the garage and no amenities are shared!
Boat lift is not included in the rental. For boat lift fees and accessibility, please contact us. There is a private laundry room on site. Plenty of games for the kids, kayaks and a couple bikes. Please note that there is a Vivint alarm system on the property which includes camera/audio surveillance/ recording by the pool area and front door for the safety and security of our guests. Audio surveillance not used. Gatherings and parties will not be tolerated. Quiet neighborhood ideal for families.

Enjoyable vacation

The host were amazing they were there for our every need we needed a fan in the third bedroom as all the other rooms had ceiling fans and they went right out and bought one that was perfect.

Wonderful

Very nice and clean property. The best host we have had in all are VRBO experiences. Very helpful but always respected are privacy. Enjoy the heated salt water pool!

Great Experience!

Fantastic experience. Went with my senior parents, my husband and our three kids. We loved the pool and kayaking and it a great spot to just relax. Communication was great with Al and Tanya- who are next door- we had a large group and we’re short a kayak paddle and they loaned us one pretty much instantly! For anyone wondering, we heard absolutely NOTHING from the garage apartment and it opens up toward Al and Tanya’s place. Felt more like an adjoining villa. We would definitely stay here again!

GREAT stay and Owner was PERFECT to work with!

We really enjoyed our stay in Apollo Beach. This location is very nice because you can walk to two very nice restaurants if you choose. The pool was very nice and had full sun all day. The patio covering is nice for those that want to be outside but not in the sun. My kids really enjoyed the air hockey table. The kitchen is stocked perfectly, although we would have liked to see a few more plastic cups since the owner did not want glass cups by the pool. Tanya was WONDERFUL to work with! If you are worried about the "Garage tenant" we would have NEVER known someone was there! The house is VERY private and we were not worried at all about security. Fishing was not very good off the pier, but not the owners fault. We enjoyed the kayaks and used them a few times. I would recommend this house to anyone wanting to be in the Apollo Beach area!

10/10 highly recommended stay in Apollo Beach!

My family and I visited for the holiday and Tanya and Al exceeded our expectations for our stay! They were friendly, communicative, and ready to help us with ANY problems or questions we had during our stay (which were none). They even brought us over a plate for Thanksgiving, overall just a very friendly and inviting family. In addition, the house was top tier, well cleaned, well maintained, and well accommodating. We loved the secluded family friendly neighborhood that was only a 30 minute drive to the heart of Tampa as well. We would definitely come back!

Fantastic stay!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house! Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 4 teenagers - the decor was really beautiful and the house had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the pool and fishing off the docks. We especially loved all the kayaks as that is something we love to do. We tied all 4 to the dock and went out exploring the nature areas almost daily - spotted a few dolphins, ospreys, and other wildlife. We did an inshore charter w Captain Matt from Poseidon Adventures - caught some snook (released) and a bunch of sea trout for dinner and got it batter fried at Captain Hooks with a great view of their porch. Everything was lovely and Tanya was a pleasure to interact with - even when our son accidentally left his AirPods and Tanya had them mailed back=) He was so relieved! Thanks for an awesome stay - would highly recommend this beautiful home😀

Attention Description

Property and amenities met our needs. We stay in apollo beach 2x year on average. The biggest concern we had was that someone was living in the garage. I would not have booked knowing this. There have been houses where thr garage was not accessible but never due to someone living there ( storage/cars/etc). The description states "Garage is not accessible to guests as it is used by hosts." This was definitely an issue for security and comfort purposes (regardless of who the person was). Place was clean and we had a very good time. Neighbors are the owners who are very pleasant. I would recommend this place for a family understanding there is someone else living there. Just needs to be clear in description.

Family Beach Trip

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was very clean and exactly as listed. Our kids had a blast in the pool and the game area! Al was helpful in all areas of fishing! Thanks again for a great house!

Family Get-A-Way

The home was great and had all we needed for a perfect get away trip with family - great pool, beach chairs, kayaks and a well-stocked Keurig coffee machine. We really enjoyed the covered large pool/patio and using the kayaks to go out into the canal. The Hosts are fantastic and were always available to answer our questions. Location is close to retail, nice marina and some good restaurants. Thanks Tanya & Al, we had a good trip.

Beyond expectations!!

After the nonsense of 2020 this vacation was definitely needed for our family. This house exceeded all expectations and we are already looking at when to book again. From spending time in the pool, fishing off the dock to kayaking into the mangroves to see manatees, dolphins, sting rays, angel rays, horseshoe crabs - we did it all and we made so many wonderful memories! Tanya and Al are the most amazing host and were available if we needed anything. They hooked us up with a great local restaurant that I think we ate at every day called Little Havana - the most AMAZING Cuban food! You will not be disappointed booking this place!

Fun relaxing family get- away

Great home away from home for our college aged and teenage kids to meet us for the Thanksgiving holiday! Prime location off Tampa Bay with beautiful screened-in pool and beachy touches throughout the house. Enjoyed the kayaks, bagg-o, and air hockey/pool table. Driving distance to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. Hope to come back again! Highly recommend!

We are a Cuban family originally from New Jersey. We made Florida our home in 2006 and we absolutely love living on the water. We have a relatively small family but we share our homes with our mom, our college aged son and always have a grandchild or 2 or 3 hanging around :)

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We try very hard to maintain a nice, clean home for our guests to enjoy. We live on site and we are all about the family life. We encourage families to stay with us. Our pool is screened in so not many bugs, we have a baby safety fence around the pool and the yard is fully fenced in for extra security and protection. Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful and we try very hard not to disturb our neighbors. Parties and large groups will not be tolerated!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We are about 2 miles from the nature preserve. Great little beach area to watch amazing sunsets, play in the sand and catch an occasional glimpse of dolphins and manatees. Please note that swimming is not allowed at the preserve. Great little fishing spot! Our dock is easily accessible by captains if you book a fishing charter or have a small vessel you'd like to tie up to our dock (under 23') please let us know ahead of time.
