Best neighborhood and sunsets!!

Newly renovated looks better in person. The owner was easy to communicate with. This house is in the cutest neighborhood and has the best sunset ive ever seen.

Great location. Perfect for docking boat and easy access to bay. Love the pool for the kids and neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Great Apollo Beach home

My wife and I rented this home last year while we were in Florida for this Feb. They had extensive water damage to the home in the fall. Habby and his crew worked tirelessly to make sure the home was ready for our arrival. It was perfect. We will rent here again.

Family trip to Apollo beach

The house had everything we needed. We particularly liked the dock to sit on the water watching the sundown and docking our sailboat. Communications with Habby were excellent, he was very responsive. It was an excellent stay for the 4 of us

Million dollar views

House had wonderful views from the lanai. The boat dock made for fun evenings of fishing with the kids. Great neighborhood, very safe. Location had everything you need just a mile or so away.

Just what we were looking for

This place was everything we hoped it would be - clean, roomy, quiet neighborhood, halfway between activities in both Tampa and Sarasota areas, and some nice beaches, parks, golf courses and restaurants within a few miles of the home. Several great areas inside and outside the house to gather, sprawl out, and enjoy the Bal Harbor view. We especially enjoyed the benches at the end of the dock for reading, dolphin watching and spectacular sunsets. Would rent again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is close to our favorite Florida spots but far enough we weren’t stuck in busy areas. The manatees viewing area is a quick drive from the property. There were sea turtles, manatees, sharks and dolphin. Highly recommend. We spent most of our time on the dock, fishing and enjoying the beautiful view. Great location and neighborhood!

The pool and hot tub heaters were out of service but the owner explained he had service done to the electrical and did have the pool service personnel there on 11/14 to fix. Also 11/14 we noticed water in the floor inside the home- again the owner got a repair person quickly but they had to shut off the water and the repair was not going to be quick (had to tear out the tile floor). The owner was very prompt to respond and make things right.The home is lovely and very spacious. The view is very nice and good sun exposure the majority of the day. Sounds like one of the hurricanes had done a lot of damage to the area and many of the homes had some type of construction being done. The “yard” areas of this property were being converted to pavers and the host requested they not work while we were there as to keep the noise down. Neighbors nearby had construction and there was some noise but it wasn’t an issue for us. The kitchen was big enough for us and had a nice island and it looked out to the pool area. I didn’t remember the listing saying 2 living rooms but there were 2 large living areas- one with a tv and the other that without. The room without a tv had a sectional sofa and some other furniture but was so large I think they could make it a 4 bed home. The bathroom was recently remodeled and very tasteful. The master bedroom had a large closet area and a jacuzzi type bathtub/shower combo. I would stay here again once the repairs are complete.

Home Away from Home!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying this house for our family vacation. The house was comfortable both inside and out. I like to cook and found the house well stocked with all the cooking utensils I could possibly need. The pots and pans were perfect for accommodating large group cooking. We loved the outside area. The lanai was much larger than expected and provided a comfortable environment to be outside even if it was pouring rain (which luckily it only did twice during our visit). There were two large tables and more than 8 chairs - so plenty of lounging space for everyone. We brought our boat and very much enjoyed the luxury of having our own dock and being to able to step right out of the house and go for a ride. We saw a dolphin and a stingray in the water at the dock. The kids loved it! The owner was immediately responsive to our needs throughout the week and we appreciated his excellent customer service. We felt at home from the moment we arrived until we left. I would highly recommend this house for families that need some elbow space and also enjoy time together. Great Family Vacation!

The house is just ok, the pool and dock are the best part. Cleaning could have been better, but I won’t make a fuss over that. We encountered a couple issues during our stay, and the host was quick to reply with a solution. The disposal setup is odd, there is a button right next to the faucet, where water can get in. During our stay we made lemonade with our children and put the lemons down the disposal. According to the host, this broke the disposal and we were charged for the replacement. The host will respond to this review and say we should not have put lemons in a garbage disposal, but literally everyone cleans their garbage disposal by grinding up citrus. In addition to the poor kitchen design, the utensils are SEVERELY lacking. There’s no knives that can cut anything, hardly enough plates, or even forks. A trip to goodwill for a new set of pots, pans and utensils would make a huge difference. The lack of utensils made preparing meals extremely challenging. The ceiling fans in EVERY bed room barely put off any air flow. The one in the master bedroom won’t even turn on, there’s no chain to pull. Summers in Florida are brutal, I didn’t realize the fan issue until it was time to go to bed, I had to run up to the dollar general right by the house to buy an oscillating fan before they closed. Overall the house could be much better with some minor improvements. Master bath is awful, don’t shower in there unless you want to break a hip.

Beautiful view dirty house and pool area

The view is beautiful, does not make up for dirty house and pool area. The dock lights do not function so no night fishing as you cannot see. We got the pool area lights working. The hot tub does not function, neither the pool or hot tub are heated. The pool area where you sit is dirty, the grill was covered in nasty baked on black stuff (the owner told us there was another in garage which we used). The ac unit has mold all over the outside of it, mold on the ceiling vents in house. The overhead fans are dirty with dust gathered on them ready to fall on your head. When I turned the oven on it was like I was cooking hot oil the smell was very bad. This is a self cleaning oven no excuse for this. The fire detector (1 in entire house) does not work. The vacuum does not work properly, broom looked like it was from the salem witch trials. The only bedroom with a tv is master. The only dresser is in a guest room. The master bathroom does not have a door only a curtain over door. The refrigerator door has crude all on the inside bottom. The trash can was dirty inside with old spills. There were no wash cloths or kitchen towels (I bought some and left them there). The slider in in pool room does not lock. The owner had excuses for all of this. I paid good money to stay here there is no excuse.

I would not rent to this person again. Some complaints were warranted, but most were not. The listing says the spa/pool are not heated in the amenities. The pictures of the home show there is only one tv in a bedroom and one dresser. The home has closets with a shelf and hangers as well. The 'mold' on the vents is actually dust and condensation. Needless to say, please read others reviews and feel free to ask me any questions you may have.

Vue magnifique mais...

Le principal atout de cette maison est clairement sa vue de la terrasse ou de la piscine sur la baie, c'est magnifique. Les levers ou couchers de soleil sont un régal pour les yeux. La possibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre entre la cuisine et la terrasse est aussi super agréable. Enfin la piscine est superbe, grande et la vue donne sur la baie. En revanche, la maison a un sérieux besoin d'un coup de neuf elle baigne dans son jus des années 80... notamment les salles de bain vieillottes qui n'ont pas d'étagère pour poser ses produits. Mais surtout elle manque d'entretien : Des herbes hautes sauvages apparaissent dans les fissures qui bordent la piscine. Le jacuzzi ne fonctionne pas. La bouteille de gaz du barbecue était vide et vu l'état du barbecue à charbon, on a préféré ne pas faire de grillades. A l'intérieur nous avons eu une invasion de fourmis (problème signalé et traité dans les 2 jours par le propriétaire, mais qui sont revenues dans les jours suivant...) Bref, c'est un sentiment partagé car c'est une maison qui pourrait être parfaite mais tous ces désagréments ont tendance à gâcher le plaisir d'y résider.
