Unique property in perfect location

The perfect girl’s getaway. Perfect location to enjoy both Boone and Blowing Rock. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely & rustic stay

Such a neat experience to stay in a “barn”My kids loved it! It is a perfect accommodation for families in a great location.The sound of the adjacent stream was very nice while dining on the porch.

Fabulous location and property

We all really enjoyed our stay next to this cute little river. Perfectly appointed with 2 kings for my teenage boys and a queen for me. Perfect distance to both blowing rock and Boone

Peaceful

The location was perfect for our needs. Very close to Boone and APP State, and yet secluded and peaceful. The back deck was great for morning breakfast and evenings. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the creek water running and watching the deer enjoy the apples from a tree on the property.

Great location and cute apartment

The apartment over the barn was perfect! Great location and it was decor in old farm style. We were close to both Blowing Rock and Boone which was great and we loved the babbling brook. The beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed for our short getaway.

Amazing all around

Not only was this apartment beautiful and quaint, but it was clean and had plenty of areas to sit and sleep for our family of 5 people. The location was perfect as it was right between downtown Boone and downtown Blowing Rock. I highly recommend this place!

Awesome Place!

This property was very unique and beautifully decorated. I could not have imagined transforming a stable into this lovely place. Blowing Rock and Boone we’re both easy to get to and yet we felt we were away from everything. If you’re looking to get away and relax, this is the place!

So comfy and fun!!

We give this cute place 5+ stars. It was super clean, beautifully decorated, the beds were extra comfy, and had all we needed for the weekend stay. Easy check in with excellent communication from property management company as well as owners. The walk through the horse stables is so fun and the creek flowing in the evening and morning is relaxing with a glass of wine or morning coffee. The added feature of two King sized beds and a Queen is perfect for a family and added comfort after a long day of hiking. Would book again 100%! Highly recommend!

Had to stop and get directions from Visitor center after climbing to the ski Mountain once we got there enjoyed the county setting every day we had visits from deer the rental was clean and well supplied walking thru the stalls to get upstairs was unique

Great weekend!

This may be my favorite place I’ve ever rented and there has been many. The space was beautiful and perfect for a small girls getaway weekend. It is centrally located to Boone and Blowing Rock. The rental was very clean and beautifully decorated. Emily was very responsive and her description and tips were spot on. We will definitely be back!

Such a cozy, sweet farmhouse!

We stayed 3 nights at this sweet farmhouse. From opening the barn door and walking past the stalls adorned with hanging lights and fun art, to entering the upstairs unit decorated in perfect farmhouse style, we loved our time here! It was very clean, stocked well, and the instructions were easy. It is a quick trip to both Boone and Blowing Rock. We would highly recommend.

Repeat customers!

Absolutely love this property. This was our second stay. Close to Boone, close to Blowing Rock. Spacious, comfortable sleeping quarters. Washer and dryer in unit. Overlooking beautiful stream. Only recommendations would be to stock a few pantry items (there was pepper but no salt) and add some furniture to the deck for relaxation (a reclining chair or little couch). We’ll be back!

Family friendly cozy spot!

We really enjoyed staying in this cozy apartment nestled on the top floor of an old barn. Very homey feel, clean, beautiful property and decorated well!!! Owner of the property owns a restaurant, The Speckled Trout, in Blowing Rock, which was recommended to us. It was so good, we went back for a second meal there. Also beautifully decorated and the food was absolutely amazing! The deviled egg appetizer is a must and the cranberry orange cheesecake was some of the best we’ve ever had! Overall a great experience and would definitely book again!

Beyond expectations!

Our stay was amazing! This property is just about perfect, starting with the incredible deck above a rushing creek that provided us with our own peaceful water feature. Loved the privacy and wooded surroundings. The interior space is roomy and light with creative and thoughtful decor. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We loved walking through the horse stables to get to our apartment. Charming beyond words. Everyone seems to give 5 star ratings these days but this rental is a full 5 stars!

Graduation Weekend

We stayed here for App State Graduation weekend '24, and it was a pleasant experience. The location was nicely situated between Boone and Blowing Rock and the setting was serene. We were challenged with locating the property initially (did not look much into the details before traveling and cell service for GPS was patchy in the area). I should have planned better knowing that I was headed into an area with spotty cell service. The host, Emily, was particularly helpful and proactive in guiding us to the property and we had no troubles with directions after arrival. The unit was nicely furnished and decorated and the wifi worked well. The only category not getting 5 stars is cleanliness. Overall the unit was very clean with two areas leaving room for improvement: the bath towels had a musty odor and my 6'1" husband walked through multiple spider webs in the living area and bedrooms upon arrival. I did not since I was behind him and significantly shorter! I would recommend this location to friends and I would stay here again.

nice mountain stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay and we thought the property was very quaint. We had friends over for dinner one night and my wife was disappointed in the lack of kitchen equipment used for preparing foods. The duplex was very comfortable for two. Driving in was difficult on the gravel road after a hard rain.

Excelente Lugar

Nos gustó el diseño del condominio, estaba limpio y muy organizado, nos gustó el patio trasero con acceso al río. Nos gustó la experiencia de estar fuera de la ciudad en contacto con la naturaleza y alejados del bullicio de la ciudad... definitivamente estamos planeando volver a ir
