BEAUTIFUL UPDATED CABIN WITH AMAZING MOUNTAIN VIEWS AND HOT TUB NEAR BOONE & BR

Centrally located between Boone and Blowing Rock and just minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this immaculately maintained Blowing Rock mountain home has gorgeous layered sunset views. There is an open and vaulted covered deck taking full advantage of the view. Misty Creek Mountain Cottage has an open vaulted and beamed living room and kitchen floor plan with a half bath and washer/dryer on the main. The large Primary bedroom along with an attached en-suite bath and roomy walk-in closet are also conveniently located on the main floor. There is an indoor gas fireplace to cozy up to while watching wildlife and viewing the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Upstairs, Misty Creek Cottage has two bright and airy wooded mountain-view bedrooms with a full and queen size mattress. The bathroom upstairs has a tub/shower combination. The home was built in 2012 and has all updated fixtures and hardwoods/tile throughout. The serene and private outdoor area is perfect for viewing the mountains and wildlife. The sparkling clean four person hot tub, wood burning fire-pit, and propane grill help make Misty Creek a perfect retreat for a true mountain experience. A four wheel or all wheel drive will be necessary in the winter months due to the paved but very steep driveway and roads in the area.
We do have a security camera on driveway for maintenance and security purposes.

Perfect Mountain Home

We saw the listing and thought it was beautiful. We read the incredible reviews and were impressed. We booked and made our plans….but never expected it to be this gorgeous. Beautiful Mountain View

We enjoyed our visit at this cabin - with a beautiful mountain view and blooming rhododendrons around the cabin. It was a very clean, quiet, and comfortable cabin, close to both Boone and Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The family room furniture was comfortable with a nice view through big windows. Our favorite spot was sitting on the covered deck watching the weather change before our eyes over the mountains. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it has a nice view of the mountains near the firepit. The sunsets were spectacular from the deck!

Great view and very clean!

We enjoyed our stay! The house is so clean and we had everything we needed! The hot tub was very nice and the primary room's bed was very comfortable. We had reservation issues (vrbo's fault) and Renee responded very quickly to me and helped get the issue resolved quickly! It's a very cozy home and we would stay here again.

Fantastic last minute getaway

Easily the best rental experience Ive had on here. Property was perfect and the experience was amazing, eapecially to have booked the day before. You seriously cannot beat the view!

Perfect Thanksgiving Stay at Cabin in the Mountains

This was a beautiful cabin home in the mountains of WNC. The owners had it decorated for Christmas that added to the ambiance. Everything exceeded expectations. The fireplace and hottub were an added bonus because it was quite cold outside. Very close to the charming downtown of Blowing Rock and Boone is nearby as well. Highly recommend and will be back!

Wonderful vacation cabin!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin and enjoyed the fabulous views of the sunset from the porch every night. I highly recommend this property. It’s super clean, comfortable and just a few minutes drive to restaurants.

Amazing views!

We had a great stay! Our ages range from 11-80 and everyone had a great time. The place is so clean and comfortable-so much thought was put into every detail! The hot tub was so clean and so nice, also with a great Mountain View! Would stay again!

An Absolute Gem of a House

We loved visiting this house so much. So charming and comfortable, with gorgeous views and close to everything you want to visit in the Blowing Rock/Boone area. This is the best place we’ve ever stayed in the area. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic View and Convenient Location

This property was perfect for our stay over Christmas. The host was thoughtful and had it decorated, which was a nice touch. Great views from inside and out on the deck. I look forward to staying there again when I'm in the area.

Very comfortable

Nice cozy home with great views. The pics & house descriptions were spot on. Only thing was that the gas logs did not work due to a gas tank issue caused by the hurricane which was communicated to us & completely understandable.

We love the mountains and when we saw “Misty Creek Mountain Cottage” we knew it needed to be ours!! It’s all about the VIEWS and of course has the convenient location between Boone and Blowing Rock! We aren’t the only ones who enjoy it…there are typically a dozen deer in both morning and evening that graze in our yard. The SPA is wonderful and relaxing and has an awesome view too! We suggest you bring your binoculars.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Misty Mountain Cottage is located a little over 10 minutes to Boone and Blowing Rock which makes shopping and restaurants convenient.
There is a feeling of seclusion, even though the cottage is located in a heavily wooded and well-maintained neighborhood. All roads are paved and the driveway might be a little steep (and paved) but we feel the payoff is totally worth it when you reach our Cottage to enjoy the the total mountain experience. For that reason a four wheel or all wheel drive will be necessary in the winter months to maneuver safely.
