Vacances dans le Maine et profitez d'une retraite tranquille. Lake Arrowhead, un lac de 1100 acres situé entre Portland, Maine et North Conway, NH et à seulement deux heures au nord de Boston. Le lac Arrowhead est connu pour sa qualité d'eau exceptionnelle et seul «lac trophée officiel du Bass» dans le Maine, ce qui le rend parfait pour la baignade, la pêche et la navigation de plaisance.
Notre Lake House est située sur un terrain boisé et contient tout le confort de la maison. Lake House peut accueillir 9 personnes confortablement. Quatre chambres, une avec matelas queen, deux avec 2 lits jumeaux et une avec 1 matelas double. Sous-sol fini avec 2 lits jumeaux. Deux salles de bains, une à chaque étage, et une salle de bain au premier étage contient une baignoire pour baigner les plus petits! La laveuse et la sécheuse pleine grandeur sont situées dans le sous-sol fini.

Profitez des piscines intérieure et extérieure de Lake Arrowhead Community, d'une salle de sport, de courts de tennis, d'une aire de jeux et explorez le lac en kayak. Un foyer extérieur permet de créer de nouveaux souvenirs de famille.

A summer getaway

Peg and Dana were great! Easy to work with and responded to questions quickly. We lost power for a couple hrs. And Peg offered to send Dana over with a generator! The house was clean, bright, and spacious. Beautiful view of the lake! The grandkids had a blast catching fish off the dock. The kayaks enabled us to explore the lake. Definitely a great place to stay!

Great family rental

Big open living area can handle a large gathering and great wrap around deck. Only downside is that there are only 2 bathrooms and open concept allows sound to carry through the whole house, incl bedrooms. Would do it again though.

Perfect Family Vacation Home

This was the perfect location for our family ranging from 84-2 years old. Right on the lake with kayaks, paddleboat, grill and firepit (with endless wood). We also took advantage of the Clubhouse and playground. Great hiking and bike riding close by. Clean, well stocked home. Host was great at responding to all of our questions! Would definitely return!

Wonderful family vacation

We have returned to this lake house for a number of years now. We always find it very clean when we arrive. We appreciate that the host provides the towels and sheets/blankets so we don't have to bring them along with us. Our family always enjoys the kayaks and paddleboat and fishing off the dock. The night often ends with S'mores around the fire pit. Coffee in the morning watching the ducks on the lake is always a plus. If you rent this lake house you will not be disappointed.

Perfect Week

This house was perfect for our group of 7 (3 adults and 4 kids ages 5-8). The kids fished off the dock and caught lots of fish - sunfish, pickerel, and bass. We took the kayaks out and explored the beautiful lake. The house was extremely clean and and air conditioned, which was great. We took day trips to Old Orchid beach, a water park, arcades, the movies, and bowling so there was plenty to do in the rain or shine. I’d highly recommend this property.

A quiet space with lots of space!

Everything about this stay was quiet and went smoothly. Communication with the owners was easy and they came for our trash earlier than was stated in the user's manual. Overall, the place was nice and had lots of space, but it could use a little investment in seating around the fire. The kayaks and pedal boat was great for our week away with the family.

Always a great relaxing time

Annual trip to the lake to visit family in the area and unwind- beautiful quiet part of the lake. A family favorite for sure! Great communication with owners, and if needed are very responsive and respectful of stopping over or in our case dropping off a new fire pit- 5 stars!!

Beautiful just like the pictures. I am a clean freak and this place was spotless; above and beyond our expectations. Another plus---they have not 1; not 2 but 4 kayaks. So we all got to go together. Best family vacation ever!!

Perfect getaway on the lake

We were so happy to stay at this home again and have already booked for next year. Peg and Dana have a beautiful home which has everything you need for your stay. The view from the living room and deck is amazing. We spent our days on the water paddle boarding, kayaking and fishing. We highly recommend this home.

Perfect vacation location

Our family stayed two weeks at this fabulous lake house. The location was amazing - the quiet, tree-filled neighborhood was perfect for relaxing and just being together. Between the four kayaks and paddleboat provided, we were all able to be on the lake at the same time, either fishing or just floating while we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The house itself was just as described online - open concept first floor with kitchen, dining area, living room and bathroom; plenty of beds upstairs and down; additional family room with tv in the basement, along with a washer and dryer. Outside there was a gas grill with plenty of propane and a fire pit with an unending supply of wood. We were able to just unpack our clothes and start relaxing. I would highly recommend vacationing at this amazing property. If we're ever back in the area, we plan to!

Maine Vacation

It is a wonderful place and would fully recommend to all that may want an ideal lake house vacation spot large enough for a family to gather. Beds could have been a bit more comfortable.

Immaculate contemporary home on quiet cove

Beautiful Lake with many inlets and coves for quiet time. We spent time relaxing by the water, swimming with noodles, fishing from the dock (caught lots of sun and blue fish), kayaking/paddle boating around the lake and playing games on the spacious deck. We ( 2 families with our kids and now 3 families with 2 grandkids) have rented properties on various lakes in NH, Maine and New York for 40 years. This home was extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed for cooking all our meals and for enjoying the lake. The shallow sandy entrance into the lake was perfect foe the 6 and 3 year olds and make entry onto the kayaks and paddle boat easy. The home is as shown with modern furniture and glass tables. It was spacious enough for games and relaxing when there were 8 of us. There. The main floor was open, spacious and comfortable. We thought we would mind the tile floors but in fact we liked them as functional for cleaning up after the kids. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom. One twin bedroom has a window opening to the main living room so we could not use it for a bedroom for one of the grandkids. There are 2 twin beds in the finished lower level and the lower level is NOT musty or wet. There is a full size washer and dryer. Other bonuses to the Lake Arrowhead community- sandy community beaches, a playground and indoor pool by reservation. ( for the cooler early morning Sunday swim) The only 2 functional issues we would comment on regarding this beautiful home is the lack of access to the lake from the back deck ((we walked around or came thru the basement, no biggy) and the inability to leave open the sliders to let fresh air into the lower level ((no screens on the sliders) We did contact the owner regarding a couple of very minor issues (dvd and lights) twice. She responded and resolved our concerns promptly!

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great week in Maine! The house was perfect for my family of 4, my parents and my sister and her 2 kids. The kids loved the kayaks and the paddle boat and went out almost every day. We enjoyed the fire pit twice! The kitchen is well stocked and even included a corkscrew and ice cream scooper. I think the only thing I didn't see was a blender. I loved the fact that they had so many towel racks and had hangers in the closets. I have rented other places before and always wondered where to hang all the towels so they would dry. We didn't take advantage of the pools at the clubhouse, but it was nice to have the option. We made several days trips including nearby hikes, visits to Portland & Kennebunkport, which both were about an hour away, and then headed back to swim or enjoy the kayaks. The house was very clean and Peggyann was always responsive when I contacted her with questions. The area was quiet and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone. Thank you for letting us stay!

Enjoyable vacation

Our family rented this wonderful lake house for the second year and enjoyed our time there. The host was always available to answer any questions we might have. We enjoyed the kayaks provided with the rental along with the new addition (to us) of the paddle boat. The kids especially enjoyed the fishing off the dock too.

This house was amazing! The view of the lake from the wall of windows was great. We’ve owned property on this lake in the past and the location on the lake was perfect. Quiet enough to kayak and swim. Dock was big enough for our 24 ft boat. Location could not be beat!!

Thanks for a wonderful week.

The house is beautiful, spacious and very, very clean, with gorgeous big windows to view the lake. We had a couple days of rain so having an open living area was wonderful for our big family. The children enjoyed the large basement area. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boat and swimming in the lake. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a great family vacation on the lake!

Amazing house and location.

This house was perfect for four adults and five teens who all love the water. There were kayaks to use, a great dock to fish from (highly recommend getting a temporary fishing license if you like to fish), and it is on a quiet side of the lake. There were so many places to explore by kayak. The house was clean, comfortable and just what we needed. The property manager was great at responding to any questions. Our children especially enjoyed using the indoor pool and game room at the community center. Reservations for the indoor pool were needed due to COVID restrictions but the staff was very helpful and the kids enjoyed having the pool to themselves for an hour (this policy may change as restrictions change). Supermarkets nearby were well stocked and the house was fully equipped for all cooking needs, including a great grill. We hope to come again one day!

Very nice house and

We had a family reunion, and it was a great vacation, everybody had a good time. House is clean, airy and bright, kitchen has everything you need. There is a nice grill and a fire pit that we used almost every night. Kayaks are a very nice bonus since the house is on the lake. Thank you for sharing your house with us.

Great time on the lake...

The house was exactly as advertised, big and clean. We had a wonderful time on the lake and used this as a jumping off point to explore Maine and the White Mountains.

Multi-Family Vacation

Peg was extremely responsive whenever I had any questions. There's much more at the house than what is listed...cookie sheet, casserole dishes, ping pong table, blender, trash compactor, propane grill, SEVERAL tower fans, beach towels, TONS of cut wood for the firepit, some spices and paper products. BTW, there are FOUR kayaks with several different-sized life vests available. The house was HUGE! The nine of us had plenty of room to navigate. It was clean and comfortable with loads of seating and room for the kids to play. The basement was the warmest floor but with the fans on, it was comfortable; and the family that stayed upstairs said the A.C. worked VERY well. The outdoor dining set was comfortable, and it served as a nice place to hang out when enjoying one's morning coffee. The lake was wonderful; it was nice and open if you ventured out a little farther. My son and husband went fishing and caught and released perhaps 9 fish one morning. We LOVED how peaceful the lake was at night and must have gone on a nighttime kayak ride at least 5 nights out of the 7. We visited Gooch's beach twice (about an hour away). The waves were the perfect size for our 2 thru 9 year old kids. We just wish we brought boogie boards with us! We even found a ton of hermit crabs! What an adventure! We went miniature golfing (there's several within a 45-minute radius). Not many big stores, but Wal-Mart and Lowe's were about 45 minutes away. Acadia National Park, on the other hand, was white a distance away so unless you like driving perhaps 3.5 hours, you may want to pass on that. Everyone agreed that we would stay at this house again.
