Venez passer vos vacances sur le magnifique lac Arrowhead, un lac de 1100 acres situé entre Portland, Maine et North Conway, NH, et seulement deux heures au nord de Boston. Notre chalet a été construit en 2010 sur 1. 5 acres de terrain joliment arboré, est ensoleillé mais confortable, adapté aux enfants, et contient tous les conforts de la maison, tels que l'Internet sans fil, dans un plan d'étage ouvert. Deux chambres, deux avec matelas queen, avec une mezzanine avec quatre matelas jumeaux, dormir 8 confortablement. Deux salles de bains, une à chaque étage, permettent de la vie privée, et le bain du premier étage contient une baignoire pour baigner les petits! Pleine grandeur laveuse et sécheuse se trouvent dans le sous-sol débrayage.

En été, reste sur la véranda-in avec vue sur l'eau, assis sur le quai privé ou d'explorer le lac en kayak. Vous pourrez profiter des piscines intérieure et extérieure du, gymnase, courts de tennis, et aire de jeux. Un foyer extérieur permet la construction de nouveaux souvenirs de famille.

Nice Stay

House layout was great. Small issues on arrival but were addressed promptly. Challenging to get down to the water with the kayaks, but enjoyed the lake overall. We also enjoyed the community amenities (pool, ping pong) as well.

Wonderful summer getaway

Check in was a breeze, the house was clean and fresh and ready for us on time as a matter fact early. It’s a beautiful home with a lovely view of the lake and a great kitchen for cooking meals for your family. There are quite a number of fairly steep stairs to get to the dock, but once you get there, the view of the lake is fabulous. The fishing is very good and there are kayaks and a canoe for enjoying paddling around the lake. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay for a summer getaway. The fishing is good. The loons are calling. The view is serene and gorgeous. You couldn’t really ask for much more. We had a wonderful stay. The manager was very responsive when our Wi-Fi went out and we were back online and no time.

We loved the property. Peaceful area, beautiful lake, and easy drive to the coast. Also, if it rained, there’s a community center with indoor and outdoor pool, ping pong, air hockey, and pool.

Lakefront retreat

We had a great week and enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake as well as the activities on the lake and in the surrounding area. We had one small issue but overall found this to be a lovely, clean home with really nice amenities!

Pine Hill Cabin perfect location for family vacation

The property was right on the water with plenty of room for the 6 of us. Perfect spot to swim, float and kayak off the dock. S’mores around the fire pit at the end of the day for those not too tired from water play. Property manager super friendly and place was clean and ready for our arrival. Great vacation spot

Great Location for Fishing Adventures

Great family vacation on the lake

The house was nice and clean. The owner and property manager were very fast to respond and helpful. Nice size deck with a grill and we also enjoyed screened porch on rainy days. We had fun swimming, fishing, and canoeing on nice days. Everything was as described and we had a wonderful week at this property.

Summer fun

Place was clean and beautiful location was great fishing was littl harder to figure out than I had imagined but once we figured ot out it was fine just be aware of you have mobility issues there are alot of steps and dock is little far from the houae to keep a close eye on kids. Made kids where life jackets when going down to dock just to be safe if they were out of quick reach . BESIDES THAT PLACE WAS GREAT

wonderful lakeside house

This is a wonderful, well furnished, home to rent for a restful vacation. Although we did drive to the ocean for one day, there was so much to do here that we were able to just relax and not drive much. Whether we were boating (canoe and kayaks at the property), swimming (in the lake by the dock, at a beach of the association or enjoying the warm indoor pool a short drive from the house), cooking out over the firepit, playing games both in the yard and in the house, relaxing on the screened porch or sleeping peacefully in the comfortable bedrooms this property had it all. The kitchen is well supplied. The loons were a joy to hear. The lake was nice to explore. There is a large grocery store a short drive away. A good time was had by all, from the retired to the preschoolers.

Beautiful home on beautiful lake

We loved our stay at the lakehouse. The only thing that could have made it better is if there was central air conditioning. We did utilize a window unit for he master bedroom upstairs which made sleeping comfortable, but central air would have made it even more comfortable throughout the home

So much fun!

Everything was perfect! From the beautiful home, to the stunning lake that was warm and perfect for kayaking and paddle boarding. We wanted to relax, BBQ daily, have a fire pit nightly, and have room for family to come and go. We got it all at this home!

Great house!

The house was very nice and very clean! It was so nice to be able to view the lake from the house and to go down to the dock as well. Neighborhood was quiet and well kept. Alexander and Patricia were very nice to work with and they and the management company were responsive to our questions. We had a nice quiet family vacation week and we would definitely stay here again if going to Maine again.

Beautiful home

Beautiful home on an equally beautiful lake. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the management. On our first day the tv had no sound. It was quickly rectified by a suggestion from the manager but the owners felt that it needed to be replaced and were there the next day with a brand new one. Great time wa had by all!

Everything that you need for a wonderful vacation!!

There were 2 couples in our group staying the weekend of Memorial Day, 2011. The house is beautiful, with all modern appliances/decor. Plenty of room for a family of 6, as there is a loft for kids and plenty of beds. The screened in side porch with ceiling fan was a favorite spot for reading and listening to music. There is also another deck on the other side of the house for sunbathing. We never even went to the public pool, or for that matter anywhere else, as we loved the house so much. Washer and dryer was convenient for washing clothes if needed. There is a fire pit outside the house that we sat around each night for hours. We were able to use the kayaks provided to go out onto the lake each day. There is lots of privacy, yet close to a town for supplies and only 40 minutes away from the very awesome city of Portland. We will definitely choose this place to stay again. The owners went out of there way to provide excellent attention to detail and to provide a beautiful setting for our weekend getaway. We had open communication with them and they were always super helpful.

I stayed the Pine Hill Cottage property in 2014. It was a great place, reflecting many of the reviews posted prior to this one. Therefore, my wife and I decided to stay there in 2016 and signed a contract in January (2016). Unfortunately, we had a negative experience dealing with the owner and Management Company as well as the condition of the house that will prevent us from renting here again. We assumed, incorrectly, that the house would be cleaned by a professional service between each rental, and that cleaning obligations on a list that was posted on the kitchen wall matched the cleaning obligations listed on our original contract. However, the list posted in the kitchen did not include details such vacuuming and mopping. Long story short, we were charged for five or six hours of additional cleaning work because we neglected to mop and vacuum. According to the property owner, the management company doesn’t clean, they merely “check” the property. We certainly would have mopped and vacuumed if it was posted – who remembers the details of rental contract 7 months after the fact – we were supposed to be on vacation! Here are a few concerns about the condition of the house especially if you have kids- • A pendant light glass shade was dangling from the light bulb and didn’t work – there was note from the management company to avoid touching it. This was a problem in 2014 and I actually called the owner about it. • The toilet seat was caked with feces near the hinges from a previous renter(s) and needed to be removed and scrubbed clean, which was quite distressing and disgusting and underscores the owner's reliance on renters to adequately clean (rather than surface-wipe) • The bathroom door downstairs has been in disrepair (does not lock) since 2014 depriving occupants of any privacy. • The cushions for the couch in the living room had a strong smell of mildew. Overall, as beautiful as the layout and location of the home, we could never rent there again because of the owner’s indifference to our concerns, his apparent arrogance in light of these concerns, and his use of a management "company" that appears inept at maintaining the property appropriately (at least to our satisfaction). The owner’s reliance on renters to properly clean the home is disturbingly inadequate, and a fact that was only fully disclosed after a problem arose.

Beautiful and well appointed

We had a great weeks stay at the house- lake was beautiful and warm, caught a few fish, close enough to visit our family nearby and the beaches as well, we went on hikes and rented some bikes in Kennebunk and overall had a great vacation! The owners and property manager were quickly accessible and responsive, the house is much bigger and more beautiful in person!

We are a busy family of 4 who used to live in the Boston area for many years before moving to Georgia in 2011. We love sharing our home and our love for Maine and the friendly residents. We sincerely want our guests to have a wonderful time relaxing and building memories.

Lake Arrowhead is a lovely and peaceful area and community. We go up to the lake house at least once a year to start our summer and to get the house ready for our summer guests. In the summertime, we have been swimming in the lake as late as mid-September. In early August, the water was really warm and we stayed for hours in our beach area. The community and the surrounding area have much to offer and we always enjoy going up to the house. Be sure to check out Krista's in Cornish, ME ... an incredible restaurant! Want the best ice cream? Go to Shaker Pond, just a 15 minute drive from the house.
