Beach time fun!!!

Loved how close the beach was!!! Literally just a couple of minutes walk! Such a cute place!!! Lots of other fun things to do as well that are all very close!!! Putting this at the top of our revisiting places!!!

House by the beach

We really enjoyed staying at this house. We came with two 3-year-olds, and it was a good place for a family to be at. The kitchen had lots of counter space to work, and the living room was comfortable with room for everyone. It's very close to the beach. I would definitely come again on a family trip.

Perfect spot near the beach

We come every summer to the area to crab. This location has plenty of parking for our boat and cars. The location was very close to the beach. We had everything we needed to cook and stay comfortable.

August stay

We love the property and the functionality. Kitchen and living areas are great for a small group. Only downside was pots and pans not clean so only used electric griddle- which worked great for breakfasts. We would definitely stay here again.

Family reunion

Check in and close out instructions were helpful. Clean, welcoming, spacious, w/nice decor and well supplied kitchen. Yet……Description was confusing: King bed that converted to 2twins listed under special details but property description had queen listed. Oven heating and burner height of flame issues. Nice backyard

Beautiful house, frustrating logistics

Pros about this house: great location (easy, quick walk to beach on quiet streets), extremely clean, well-appointed kitchen. Cons: management informed us very late about an issue that required a much later check-in. They made an attempt to remedy the situation which unfortunately did not work for our group. It took me two additional days and multiple phone calls to finally get it sorted. After all of that, the remedy did not seem enough for my hassle. Secondly, the house had zero wash clothes. Not one (very odd). Finally, when I booked the house, one of the bedrooms was listed as having a king bed (the photo still shows this, as does the description). When we arrived, the bed was queen sized and the information had changed. Extremely frustrating.

Dirty and disgusting

Unfortunately things went down hill as soon as we arrived. The code to the home didnt work and after a call maintenance was going to come right away. Never did. After several phone calls we got a key to the property. Upon walking in we realized the carpets were absolutley disgusting and had stains everwhere and should be torn out and never rented in the condition it was in. I contacted the property management company and sent pictures. she said she would try and approve a full carpet clean and never got back with me. I contacted VRBO directly and after the agent saw the pictures she contacted the owner and they approved a clean. She said someone would be coming that day. Once again no one ever got back to me or apologized for this inconvenience or the condition of the property. No one ever showed up and nothing was ever cleaned. After texts, calls and emails I gave up. Make sure to wear shoes in this place! I cannot stress enough how filthy this place was. Rugs in the bathrooms were ready to be thrown away. Hair by the sinks. Kitchen knives broken, not one dish cloth. Food from previous renters left behind. Pans are trashed. Also, make sure to stand far away from the front right stove burner or you will get burnt. Very disappointed and frustrated. Won't be back!

A good time

We had a good stay here. The house is comfortable, and the kitchen has more than everything needed for cooking. We had a couple of glitches, but Meredith management and maintenance were fast to follow up and fix things.

Mother/daughters getaway

This little house was great for me and my two teenage daughters to get away for a couple days. Very close to town and could walk to beach. Quiet neighborhood. Only downfall was we had to check in 2 hours later than stated because of a house keeping hiccup and would have loved the option of a late check out because of that, but otherwise, nice property for a small group of people.:) great price too

Great place to stay

A few dents here and there, but to be expected for a rental. Very well laid out floor plan, cozy heat. Only a couple of small issues that are easy to correct. All of us enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Friends and family getaway

This was my second stay at this property. While it is still a nice property with a great location it was a bit run down from my stay just a few months before. It didn’t appear as clean, there were several large stains on the living room carpet, the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom was ripped and falling down, there were no kitchen towels and a load of laundry was left in the dryer. The garbage did not get picked up on the requested day. A little TLC would go a long way for this cute little house.

Charming Cottage, Nice Location

This property had a lovely, old-fashioned seaside charm. The kitchen was well appointed and it is in nice proximity to the beach. I do think the photos in the listing are MUCH brighter and lighter than reality. The carpet was a dark brown and had bad stains in the main area of the family room and in other locations. (It really needs to be replaced.) The dark color and wear and tear on the carpet made it feel less clean than we would have desired. (The cleaning crew also needs to get behind furniture to vacuum dust accumulation.) Some of the furniture is a bit old and worn. The bedding was low quality and the mattresses mediocre. The critiques/honest feedback aside, our family had an enjoyable stay and a memorable vacation.

location was wonderful.

House was very clean. The photographer was magnificent in making the rooms look much larger than the are. The only room that would accommodate the 24'"x36" crib was the MB room. My BR had 12" space on one side and 24" on the other. The door was 2" from the foot of the bed when opened. Two tiny BRs upstairs. It was adequate for a short time.

We had a great time! Loved the location, and on a quiet street which was great about the only thing I could say is the house definitely had a bit of a lingering fish smell. But everything else was great!we would stay here again.

Comfortable cottage one bock from the beach

We had a very comfortable stay! it was less than 5 minute walk to the beach, which was great for walks, splashing in the waves, or beachcombing. The cottage was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
