Enjoyed family time with spacious property. First time in OB. Would recommend. It only renting beach chairs and umbrellas but having setup included. Property managers great. A few hiccups with appliances. Hopefully all was managed pending our advisement for future guests
This property is right on the beach. The top floor has a great oceanfront view. Deck would have been great to enjoy had neighbors not smoked jane so much. Plenty of room and space on all three floors and it's near 64 which is the main strip. Some of the areas could use a deeper cleaning such as the counter chairs. Also runs out of hot water quickly but overall, was happy with the space, beach access, location and amenities. Would definitely stay again.
This house was beautiful and very functional for our large group. The location was great, close to a lot of restaurants but far enough from public access that the beach wasn't crowded. Definitely recommend Sandbar Concierge for booking excursions and grocery delivery... after getting the run around from Hertz for 5 hours at the Norfolk airport and not getting to the house until midnight the first night it was so nice to have the house stocked when we walked in! Also recommend The Cabana Boys for beach chairs, canopies and games! They worked hard to make sure we had a relaxing time on the beach every day!

Good property, bad management
We enjoyed our stay however, the property is not being maintained with the upkeep of appliances, hvac, hot tub..house keeping. We were there for 3 days and put in for a request for bath towels, but we never got them. The water was leaking feom ceing vents, but it never got fixed. The property is in a grear location and is clean however the management of.this prowperty is lacking. Lot of rust seen on appliances, ceiling vents, hot tub. We made the best of it and had a good time, however if i see kees management associated with any property any where, i will pass on it.
The property is great! Nice layout of the house to be able to accommodate the entire family. Love the 3rd floor with the views and open concept. The house does need a little attention: grill tough to operate, house could use a pressure washing, the pool door needs painted, would be nice to have grass or something more functional around the pool. There was one washer broken, one dish washer broken and the AC on the bottom floor went out while there. They did come and fix dishwasher and AC but the washer has been broken since November. There is also a light on the front of the house that is rusted and hanging loose. That all being said, I would recommend this house.
Sheets were not available until 9:15pm, had to run to linen truck. Dishes were still in dishwasher.

We checked out by 9:00 am, left the place same way we found it.
This is an excellent beach rental home with 8 bedrooms and 8 and 1/2 bathrooms. There were several appliances that were not functioning as expected, including ice makers and freezer in kitchen, top floor air conditioner, one of the washing machines and the heat for the pool. All of the amenities were provided and the house was very clean and comfortable.
The location and amenities could not be beat. The staff at Kees were friendly and responsive. The daily cabana service was a nice bonus that made going to the beach with the family painless!!! Did I mention the view!!!!!!
The renters before us must have left a giant mess, as the cleaning staff was still working at 4:30 when we arrived. The pool area was carpeted with cigarette butts (including in the pool) and there were stains on doors, wrappers in beds, and lots of sand still on the floor. The staff was working super hard, so itâs by no means their fault. I think they were just overwhelmed. For the price of the house, we were a little shocked. However, we contacted Kees and they immediately responded. They took care of all of our concerns and the rest of the week went wonderfully. I do wish that someone had called or emailed us to tell us that the house wasnât ready. It would have saved us from standing around waiting for and hour. Despite all this, it was still an amazing house and location and we would stay again.
While we enjoyed our time here, there were 20 items of concern that should have been taken care of by either the housekeeping or maintenance staff prior to our visit. For the amount of money we paid to rent this house, we are sure the Owners would not want to have this happen again. Here is a sampling of our concerns:
[1] 2nd and 3rd floor porches were filthy with dirt and dead insects.
[2] One light globe over kitchen island was broken and another light was hanging by only the electrical wire.
[3] Cold air returns/filters had not been cleaned or replaced in a very long time.
[4]Several light bulbs required replacing.
[5] One ceiling fan did not work
[6] One ice maker in kitchen refrigerator did not work.
[7] There were 4 remote controls for TV's either missing or broken.
[8] There were not instructions or users manuals left for how to operate any of the electrical devices.
[9] Several caps to the posts on the railings were missing.
[10] Two of the bathrooms were without toilette paper.
All of this items and the ones we left off this sample are things the could have been taken care of by housekeeping or maintenance prior to occupancy and. in our view, for the Per Diem rental charge per day, should have been completed. We hope the Owners will see these comments and make sure their property is in great shape for future visitors.
We had a 3 night stay at Dune It Wright. Very pleased with property and location. We did not know there was an elevator so that was a nice surprise. The gas grill is unusable. The views are great.
Good potential, requires better communication and management.
The home comfortably accommodated my family of 11 adults and 6 kids ages 1 thru 15. Check-in on Sunday required sitting on the phone for 45 minutes with VRBO's customer service team because the management company did not provide access instructions (as expected) prior to check-in. Calls and emails to the management company received little attention for the duration of our stay. Upon check-in, we noticed the home had many deficiencies; the pool was dirty, a refrigerator was leaking, a dishwasher did not power on, the kitchen sink was leaking, the floors had not been cleaned. Except the pool, none of the reported items were addressed. Communication responses from the management company was insufficient and unprofessional. After informing the management company the pool required cleaning, they replied that the pool had been cleaned prior to my arrival. It wasn't until after I sent pictures of sand and live crab in the pool, they acknowledged the pool wasn't cleaned. Two pool days lost. I received an email from the management company after official check-out day/time, advising that if the reported issues had not been addressed thus far, they'd get to them that day. Thanks, but I checked out as scheduled 1.5 hours ago. I would return to Nags Head but will not recommend or rent from Kees again.
