Maison classique de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bain. Récemment rénové. Lits: 1 roi, 1 reine, 1 double. Quatre rues du centre ville. Deux téléviseurs à écran plat entièrement programmés. Cuisine entièrement équipée, véranda, cheminée, patio privé, cour clôturée, paysagé. Comprend une place de stationnement et il y a également un parking sans compteur. Internet haut débit Wi-Fi. Super endroit! À distance de marche de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Propriété partagée, beaucoup d'intimité, veuillez vous renseigner. Long terme possible début août.

Beautiful home close to downtown

The pictures don’t do this place justice. We were so excited to arrive here and realize how large the home is. It’s well laid out, great porch for morning coffee, sun room for reading, comfortable family room and dining. Kitchen is well stocked. Bathrooms are nice and beds are super comfortable. We really can’t say enough good things. Location is awesome! Short walk to downtown state street. With an electric bike you can be at the beach in less than 10 minutes easily. Would definitely stay here again. thank you Carrie

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This house and its property are just lovely - exactly as shown in the photos. My husband and I shared the house with my daughter, husband and 3 year old. We were all quite comfortable. The king bed was a bit high for me (not a fan of climbing onto bed) but it was fine. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils (except for a spaghetti pot). Everything worked. There was a washer & dryer in a "closet" in the kitchen which made that task really easy and there were short cycles for washing which I love. The house and its neighbors are very close to each other so every conversation outside was audible inside. For the most part, people were reasonable and quieted down by 10. Closing the windows would probably work but we like getting the fresh air. Location was great - 1/2 block from State St. which is Sta. Barbara's entertainment & recreational core. Very convenient. We would stay there again and can enthusiastically recommend it.

The perfect house in Santa Barbara

If you are looking for a comfortable, beautifully appointed rental home in Santa Barbara, look no further. This house is located half a block off of State Street, and is within an easy walking distance of all that downtown Santa Barbara has to offer. Carrie is really responsive and helpful too.

Great location and house amenities.

Our group of five, plus toddler, had a wonderful experience at this home. The location was perfect for experiencing Santa Barbara and had an excellent coffee shop and ice cream shop a few minutes walk away. The house was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, glasses, appliances, etc. and had a nice gas grill. All of the beds were very clean and comfortable. The family room was a nice place to relax as a group. The bathrooms were also clean and well stocked for a short term visit. I highly recommend this property to all Santa Barbara visitors.

Wow

We were wowed. Everything was perfect. This house is as charming as can be, and just half a block from State Street. Large comfortable dining room table, perfect for family meals or games.Big indoor living space and plenty of outdoor living space too.

Wonderful Cozy Home

Our stay at this great craftsman style home was so fun. Our family included children, teens, adults and a grandmother. Everyone was happy. The home has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Everything was clean and tidy and so close to State street. We walked everywhere to eat as well as going to the beach and parks. I would consider staying at this great home again.

A lovely beach holiday

The house was easy to find and in a lovely neighborhood. The grounds were neat and tidy and very nicely cared for. Inside was clean and tidy and the house was well stocked with nice clean bedding, kitchenware and bath towels. The house felt as though it had been closed up for quite some time as there is a smell when you enter that puts you off a bit. Once we were able to open it up it wasn't as pungent. However, not knowing the area, we closed everything up when we weren't there and with the weather being quite warm, it took a while for everything to air out and cool down. Air conditioning would have been a bonus, especially when getting ready for events, it was a very warm weekend and not much breeze, so the house never really cooled down much. They did have fans tucked into closets but we never thought to pull them out until after we were gone. Great place for a beach holiday, however, they do need to work on the smell if they are not going to be able to air it out more regularly. Otherwise, it was lovely. Full of character and beds were comfy and clean.

Charming Home

We just recently stayed at the home with 3 couples. The house was charming and fully equipped with everything that was needed to make a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, glasses and pots & pans. The house is centrally located and most places are a quick walk. Carrie was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this home and I would love to stay here again!

Lovely place to stay!

Great location for this beautiful home! Lots of character and charm, period details and nicely furnished with plenty of space for our group of six. We cooked a couple of dinners there and really enjoyed the well stocked kitchen with its great selection of appliances. Beds were very comfortable, We had a really great stay, and would definitely choose this house again for a future trip. McConnell's Ice Cream, Daily Grind coffee, lots of food options nearby. Convenient to downtown, short drive to beach and pier, easy on-street parking. This house was a great base for our activities and gave us a chance to socialize with family we don't see often. Front porch was great for naps! Carrie was great and responsive to our initial request and later questions. Thanks for sharing your house!

Charming craftsman-style house

This house was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. 5 of us stayed here -- 2 couples and a single man -- and the house accommodated group meals, private chats, and easy access to downtown shopping and restaurants. A lovely place to catch up with old friends. We'd stay here again.

Great house and great location

This house was perfect for my maid of honor and her family to stay in for our Memorial Day weekend wedding. Just a short walk to State St., so no car needed if you want to keep things to downtown Santa Barbara. The house is very cute and clean, and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of room too! My maid of honor's dad is ready to book this house again for another trip! They absolutely loved it. Zero complaints. The owner, Carrie, is very easy to work with and responds quickly to any questions or messages.

Love staying here!

This is the second time I've rented this home. The decor is so cute, the kitchen has everything you need, and the location is prime. The beds are incredibly comfortable too! Looking forward to renting this home again soon!

Real comfort in a great location

This was our second stay at this property, but our first in the front house. The owner has taken great care to ensure that the property is very comfortable and well equipped (including the kitchen). The thought shows! The house is a good size and fills with light for much of the day. The location is ideal for us: a ten minute walk to three of the best restaurants in town, as well as to three of the five large performing arts theatres and three excellent galleries. It is only a slightly longer walk to the other main performance venues, the farmers' markets and several excellent wine tasting rooms. Everything else, including several great beach and inland walks, the university and the airport is only a short drive away. We hope to be back soon.

Great house; great location

This is a lovely craftsman style home in a great neighborhood, walking distance to downtown and easy access to the beach. The house is well appointed with contemporary furniture, comfortable beds, and attention to detail right down to the All Clad cookware. The owner, Carrie was readily available making sure that our stay in Santa Barbara was memorable.

Best location ever...with a couple of rough edges.

First off, let's review the GOOD- The location is outstanding; easy access from 101, steps from everything you need on State Street, off-street parking available and a relatively quiet neighborhood. Second, the owner/manager replies extraordinarily quickly to any questions or concerns you may have. It was the best customer service experience I've had with HomeAway. Third, the house is a gem. It's a Santa Barbara classic from the early 20th century with all kinds of great character... ...which leads me to the first of two negative issues: One, because of its age, the house obviously is lacking in electrical outlets. Modern day travelers who have devices may be arm-wrestling their partners for outlet space. Also, there are a number of ungrounded outlets (e.g not three-pronged) so that adds an extra level of excitement in locating a suitable power source. The second issue we had with the house was with the beds. The bedding itself was lovely...but the actual beds were a bit uncomfortable. A number of people in the group reported trouble sleeping through the night. In summation, the house was excellent and suited our needs extremely well. If we needed a place to stay in Santa Barbara with family, this would be at the top of the list.

Perfect space and location for sharing time with friends

We rented the house while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was beautifully decorated, kitchen contained everything needed for full meal prep, and bedrooms and bathrooms well appointed. It comes with a parking space but plenty of street parking in front as well. We especially enjoyed hanging on the front porch. Owner very responsive to requests. Highly recommend and hope to return.

Very charming and clean, a great place to stay

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is very charming and looks just like the pictures show it. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The main problem we had was that steps on the side of the house were very steep and the ones in the front of the house didn't have a hand rail. It was hard to maneuver going up and down the stairs to go in or out of the house. That being said I am handicapped in my walking so keep that in mind if you have a similar problem. That is the only reason I didn't give it five stars. We thought that the lighting was kind of dim and really needed another outlet in the front bedroom. Those were just minor things though. We would definitely stay there again if we are in Santa Barbara.

SB Weekend

Had a great stay at this house and would definitely return. The place was immaculate and the furnishings were super comfortable, especially the beds. Location was great just off State Street with close access to all the shops and restaurants. Communication and access to the home was very easy too. Great value overall.

Very nice place. It's about a 2 mile walk to the pier, with shopping and restaurants all the way the

Super nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of stuff to do around State street. The bed is do comfortable.
