It's not a huge place but it couldn't be in a better location and you are in the Alps so you want to be outside anyway. It's a 5 minute walk to the boulangerie and the telesiege up to Mont Blanc. It's ten minutes to lifts up Mt Brevant or buses anywhere in the valley
Quirky apartment very close to Chamonix with everything you'll need
Communication and booking were excellentâstraightforward and hassle-free. Arrival was seamless, with clear instructions and easy key collection from the secure store on the flat door. The apartment is on the 4th floor, accessible by lift.It's a quirky and well-designed space, with a double bed on a mezzanine level accessed via ladder stepsâlow headroom, but that didnât bother us. The single bedroom has bunk beds, where our 18-year-old slept, and there's also a sofa bed in the living area. The apartment had everything we needed, though we only used the coffee machine as we ate out each night.The owner was very helpful, even storing our luggage and skis securely until our late afternoon pick-up, allowing us to explore without worry.One minor issueâmy husbandâs footwear, left above the mailboxes (as we understood ski boots werenât allowed inside), was taken. Mine remained, so it was disappointing but not a reflection on the owner. Just something to be aware of.Overall, a fantastic apartment, and weâll definitely return next time weâre in Chamonix!
The flat is very accommodating and in a terrific location, just steps from Chamonix business district and not far from good food stores. The kitchen is tight, but everything works well and the eating bar makes for good dining for two couples. The owner is very prompt in responses, so making a reservation and getting directions, etc. is smooth, as is the local manager, who heped out with all kinds of good advice. The weather for our skiing was fabulous, even if we can't assign our good fortune to the reserved flat. This one is worth putting in your faves box. The only downside--minor--was regulating heat in the space; it could use a space heater when temps dipped low.
Wonderful apartment in a quiet area yet close to the centre of town. Within walking distance of everything you might need. Shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets are just a minute's walk away. The apartment is excellently equipped with everything you might need on your holiday. Katy is there to meet and greet and show you around the apartment and Guy is very responsive and easy to deal with. There is free private parking which can be a problem in Chamonix and the wifi and tv are all user-friendly. This is a great place to stay.
This is a great apartment which is really well located close to all the shops and restaurants of central Chamonix and easy walking distance to the Aiguille du Midi cable car (even in ski boots). It has an upstairs sleeping loft and a single bedroom with bunk beds. This was perfect for our group of three. It additionally has parking which is often tough to find in Chamonix and makes having a car to drive to the various resorts super easy. This was our first time in Chamonix and we came over from the US. Entire process was seamless and we look forward to doing again.
We loved staying in the cosy apartment in Chamonix. It was exactly as described. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived, nice and warm and very comfy beds! The location was great for town and use of the car park was very handy. The owners were really helpful and quick to respond to queries before our trip. Katy, who runs the apartment out there is lovely and really helpful. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it!
We were delighted with this apartment which is located in the perfect position for the town centre and the scenery from the grounds is just stunning . Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chamonix
We have owned our apartment in Chamonix for 12 years. This is the 1st time that we have rented it out and so we have renovated it over the course of the autumn to turn it into a modern well equipped flat for our guests. We do have experience of renting out property, having built a beautiful villa in Tobago which we also rent.
