Our home is located in the residential area of Ocean Beach/Point Loma. We love our neighbors and ask our guests to respect 'quiet time' weekdays at 9 pm and weekends at 11 pm. We have lots of fun places to enjoy the spirit of OB! You'll love our location just two blocks from the main hub of Ocean Beach and 5 blocks from the ocean. We have umbrella, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, beach cart, toys for kids etc. to add to your fun. We live upstairs and enjoy meeting our guests. We speak German and English and welcome you!

Fantastic host and great location.

This apartment was perfect for our weekend stay in the San Diego area. Down the street from great food and a nice beach. The host was very accommodating and so nice. I will stay there again.

Loved the area

Beautiful spot with views of ocean. Easy drive to hot spots around San Diego area. Walkable to beach, restaurants and coffee shops etc.

Wonderful House

The house had amazing views of the ocean and so close to restaurants and shops. It was helpful that we had our own parking space. It was clean, kid friendly house.

Great location and property manager

Came to San Diego to check out SDSU and wanted a location at the beach. Silka was wonderful and so kind. Apartment was super clean. My family will definitely look at staying here again when come back to San Diego.

We loved the location of and views from our rental. Our host met us at checkin and was available if we needed anything. The rental was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return later this year.

Nice home in great location

My family and I had a great time. The home is very comfortable with every amenity. Plenty of kids and beach toys to keep my kids entertained. The location is great and the owner is very helpful and thoughtful. Plenty of restaurants and grocery shops within a short 10-15 min walk as is the beach. Easy access to major tourist spots. Thank you Silka for a loverly time!

Beautiful little getaway!

This was a delightful place to stay. The first things we loved was the beautiful views of the ocean and open air patios. The house is cozy, clean and convenient, we really weren't missing anything. Silka was a lovely host and even gave us some beach chairs to use during our stay, as well as going above and beyond to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. The beach is super close, a 6 block walk, with lots of restaurants and shops along the way. This was a great place for a weekend in San Diego.

Perfect spot for a work-cation

Our family flew down for a quick change of scenery before going back to school. The location is amazing, just a 10-15 minute walk to food, fun and the beach. We worked remotely by day with an amazing view of the water (and some rain) and we were able to take a few breaks for nearby attractions. This rental is comfortable, clean and full of thoughtful amenities. Silka is a fabulous host, she made us feel welcome right from the confirmation email. Would definitely stay here again!

Quentissential OB Home

Thank you Silka, your house was perfect for our family gathering. The floorplan with its indoor and outdoor space was great for entertaining. Your home is clean, comfortable and very well equipped, especially the kitchen. The location is ideal for taking advantage of all that OB has to offer. We would definitely return.

Great OB Location

Great place to stay in the Ocean Beach neighborhood. Silka (owner) was great...met us when we arrived, to check us in and give us a tour of the property, and was very prompt to respond to any need that we had. The location was ideal for the OB neighborhood...located 3-4 blocks up the hill in a quiet residential area. An easy walk to lots of good restaurants and a couple of food markets (for meals we wanted to eat at "home"). ***The off street parking spot was a great. ***The ocean and evening sunsets were viewable from 4 different rooms of the property. Thanks again to Silka for sharing her home.

Great Home..Great Experience...Great Hosts!

If you are considering Ocean Beach, consider your Vacation Rental Search done! We were greeted by Silka who took her time and showed us around the home. Everything was clean, organized and well stocked. She had a bottle of wine waiting for us! After a ten hour day of driving, my husband and I were so appreciative. We also didn't have to run back out to the store, as she had english muffins, a Keurig with many coffee choices, and even half and half in the refrigerator. Silka had chocolates in a candy bowl and had lots of condiments in the refrigerator and cupboards. Silka is super sweet and caring! We felt at home as we transitioned our oldest son to SDSU. We will definitely be back!

Spectacular ocean view

We spent three nights here "In the Heart of Ocean Beach." It's true. All we had to do was walk straight down 4-5 blocks to the hub of Ocean Beach, with it's restaurants, shops, farmer's market and, of course, the beach. Our host was there to greet us when we arrived, and explained all the details we needed to know. Silka's apartment has a spectacular ocean view, which I enjoyed each morning, eating breakfast. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Silka even left some breakfast items in the refrigerator, which was much appreciated. We also appreciated the two patio spaces with views, as well. The front one had a swing to sit on to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The master bed was very comfortable. And if we had any questions at all, our host was a phone call away. Do be prepared for the early morning plane noise, since Ocean Beach is so conveniently located to the airport.

Silka I just wonderful! She communicated with me about checking in and was around to answer any questions I had about the house or the area. So polite and very friendly. We stayed here to visit our son, and we will be back!

Two small children and the beach

We rented this property for few days for our vacation with a 1 and 3 year old. Silka and Wilf were great hosts and provided a welcoming experience. They made many baby items (stroller, pack and play, and high chair) available to us which made things so much easier for the trip! It was my sons birthday and they even were kind enough to get him a Book! We enjoyed the view of the beach from their home. The location is just a short drive to all the kid activities we had planned. We look forward to returning to San Diego and to stay at this property again! We would recommend Silka and Wilfs home for all who visit San Diego. Thank you Silka and Wilf!

Great stay!

Really enjoyed our 8 night stay at this property! Super location for exploring both San Diego and Ocean Beach. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Host Silka was great and was available for any requests we may have had. We recommend staying here for anyone considering a San Diego visit.

Great location!!!!!

Spent a couple of days in OB and thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!! We were able to walk to the beach, walk to cafes for great meals, and enjoy shopping as well. We did Uber a couple of times and the drivers were so helpful and friendly to get us to places we loved. And the house!!! Adorable two bedroom house with lots of windows to enjoy the view of the beach. LOVED getting up and drinking coffee in the dining area and loving the scenery. Plenty of room for our group of three!!! Thank you so much, Silka!!!

We love people and have a long history in hospitality in Canada where our family owned a lovely resort/motel in the Okanagen Valley in B.C. for 47 years. Most guests were 3rd and 4rth generations. We hope to bring the same service to our guests in Ocean Beach.

Our visitors especially love the local restaurants and pubs with onsite breweries.
