Ce bungalow de plage lumineux et venteux chuchote "l'été" toute l'année et se trouve à quelques pas des plages, des magasins, des restaurants et du marché hebdomadaire de producteurs. Votre maison loin de chez vous se prête à une visite relaxante et amusante, à des vacances ou à un long séjour dans la ville jeune et dynamique de San Diego.

Meublée avec goût, cette maison présente une touche design, une planification intelligente de l'espace, une lumière abondante et offre tous les éléments de la vie côtière classique, à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Le Garden Cottage dispose de 2 chambres et d'une salle de bains et pourra accueillir 4 personnes pour une véritable hospitalité.

Détendez-vous et profitez de la cour arrière privée et fermée avec des chaises longues confortables, un hamac et un foyer. Les chambres sont très confortables et les draps sont somptueux et confortables. Fantastic stay at the Cottage. Location was prime for every outing we planned and then some. The Cottage was clean, cute, and enough room for the four of us (Dad. Mom, and two adult kids. Highly recommend and would stay again.

This Ocean Beach Garden Cottage has adequate street parking even during popular summer months with restaurants, shops, and beach within easy walking distance. The check-in and check-out protocol is clearly communicated and the owners are readily available if the need arises. The owners’ second rental house located lower on the same lot is just as welcoming. As a frequent visitor to the coastal San Diego area this rental has been a frequent destination for my family. The property is attractively furnished with anything you may need for a comfortable stay - my favorite home away from home.

This property was very clean, and pleasantly decorated. The kitchen had everything you would expect, and more. I came without my German Shepherd, but he could have easily fit into the space, and there was a private patio in back. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was good quality. it was located close to Ocean Beach attractions, but not too close to the crowds and traffic.

We will be recommending this cottage to anyone traveling to San Diego! Exactly as pictured…absolutely darling, perfectly appointed, great for a family of four. Gardens are simply beautiful. Quiet and safe neighborhood, easy street parking. Walking distance to amazing restaurants, coffee shops and markets - and to the beach. Beds were SO comfortable. We fell in love with Ocean Beach! Such a great vibe and tons of incredible restaurants and cute shops (much more chill and neighborhoody than Pacific Beach and Mission Beach in our opinion). Great communication with the host. Do not hesitate to book!! We will be back!

Really cute place, decorated tastefully, pretty art on walls. Great location, walked a couple blocks to watch sunsets (cliffside). Quiet neighborhood - w/exception of a couple dogs barking sporadically it was surprisingly quiet despite proximity of neighboring homes. Parking was always available on the street directly in front. Beds super comfy, plenty of drawer & closet space including hangers. Kitchen very well equipped…everything we needed plus some. Even left us a bag of ice in the freezer which we really appreciated…(even though freezer had ice maker & water in door). Appliances were very nice…fridge, stove, dishwasher, & washer/dryer looked almost new.Nice sitting spaces w/umbrellas in front & in back of unit. Back patio would be perfect if there was a BBQ. Description & pictures advertise a fire pit but there was not one. Also read there was a t.v. in bedroom which there was not.There were beach chairs, umbrellas, & other supplies in storage area below house. A kayak was advertised but there was not one.The only deal-breaker complaint we have is that it was too warm inside in afternoon & evenings. There were several fans provided which helped but the living room reached 86 degrees a couple days & bedroom felt at least that (but there was no thermostat in bedroom).We had all windows open but it just didn’t quite cut it. So if that bothers someone you might consider not going in August or the hottest summer months at least.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the cottage, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, easy parking, outdoor spaces, and our wonderful location near the cliffs and sunsets. A few quick clarifications: for safety and insurance reasons, we no longer provide a BBQ or fire pit, and we’ll remove the outdated fire-pit photo. A kayak is not advertised as an amenity, though we do highlight nearby kayaking at beautiful La Jolla Cove. You also caught us during an unusually warm summer stretch. Most of the year, our coastal location brings a comfortable shoreline breeze, with fans provided for warmer days. Thanks again for staying with us!

A fun family spring break!!

We loved the location of Rodney’s house! We were able to so easily walk to the beach and go to great reataurants. Plus the other attractiions that interested us like the Zoo and Sea World were a quick drive away. The landscaping was all so beautiful!

My daughter and her family stayed here over Christmas and loved it, so I knew I would be happy there. It was well equipped, quiet, and easy to find parking on the street. It was also spotlessly clean.

Ocean Beach was a great beach town. Host went above and beyond for us. Amazing hospitality! Very clean House, made us feel at home! We loved the small town businesses all within a short walk from the Cottage. We also had a sweet neighborhood cat that visited us. Took plenty of photos but it wouldn’t let us add them because they exceeded the size limit.

Communication with host couldn't have been better. Great neighborhood location in Ocean Beach. Loved the backyard and watching the hummingbirds. If I was going to get in the weeds about anything, the furniture in the living room could be a little better, but we are extra cautious because of my husband and his back surgery history. Couch was fine - but when we had 3 people there, no one wanted to sit in the red chair. The house was cute, clean and furniture aside, I would have a hard time not picking the same place if I return to San Diego. I will add that having spices, some cooking oil, coffee, and coffee filters - along with some basic toiletries in the bathroom is a much appreciated touch. Makes all the difference in my opinion to have a few things to get started with.

The Garden Cottage sits in the residential neighborhood of Ocean Beach (OB) - between Sunset Cliffs and the OB business district. The cottage is close enough to stay connected to the local scene (walk to the public beach, restaurants, dining and shopping) but far enough away to enjoy quite relaxation, sounds of splashing waves, and the ease of on-street parking - often right in front of the cottage.

OB is a low key beach community filled with flair and personality. Said differently, OB offers the pitch perfect throw-back groovy vibe of a vintage Southern California beach town, coupled with friendly locals, great dining, and a vibrant beach and surf scene.

The Garden Cottage sits two blocks from the coastline and secluded beaches, and is a short 5-20 min stroll to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and the public beach - offering lifeguard-supervised swimming and surfing areas, restrooms, and showers.

The Garden Cottage is also centrally located and a short 5-15 min drive to most area Universities, Sea World, Downtown/Convention Center, and Balboa Park - the nation's largest urban cultural park. Balboa Park is home to 15 major museums, renowned performing arts venues, beautiful gardens and the world famous San Diego Zoo. The Park has an ever-changing calendar of museum exhibitions, plays, musicals, concerts, and classes—all in the beautiful and timeless setting.
