We had the most wonderful holiday. Juan who checked us in and out was so super helpful. explained where everything was and how to get to places such as the beach, supermarket and old town. We didn’t hire a car and loved walking everywhere as it is the prettiest town. The apartment was perfect and the view was the best i have ever seen!! We will definitely book to go back.

Beautiful Place

Juan was great and helped us a lot. The property is on the edge of town, so quiet with great views and a great pool. Because it's on the edge of town, you have to walk a ways to get anywhere. We rented scooters and that made getting around very easy.

Juan was a wonderful host. he waited for us, made us visit the house and gave us all the instructions needed to visit sitges. he was so friendly and answered all our questions. this holiday was a real pleasure for me and my family. we were delighted and happy to wake in the morning, in front of that majestic view right before us. the balcony and its view on the sea was the best thing. we could park near the house. we could reach a public beach in just a 3 minute walk from our residence. the city centre of sitges is very beautiful to visit too. so many restaurants and shops that welcome you with a big and hearted smile. i recommend the house for all kind of ages, even elderly people. i hope to come back!

The view from the villa was amazing - I could sit on the deck and look out at the ocean all day. The rest of the villa was nice - 2 bedrooms, a nice kitchen, clean bathroom, dining/living area. Small but functional. The pool is quite nice and was not very busy when we were there. The location is about a 10 minute drive from downtown - the owner is clear on that and I actually liked being away from the downtown area. We didn’t choose to have a car (which is suggested), but it was easy to get taxi service. The owner tells you the location is near the train tracks - it didn’t really bother us but if you have an issue with noise this may not be the place for you. The only issues I had with the villa was that you have to go through a gate, over a bridge for the train tracks, and down stairs to get to the villa - I found that difficult with luggage or groceries (and I have knee issues). The other issue is that the garbage bins are far away - I couldn’t walk it. The owner let us in to the villa which was appreciated and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Thanks very much for an enjoyable first visit to Sitges!

Amazing view & quiet location

Our host took care of all the details and made things very easy for us. We loved the quiet location outside of town. It was a short walk to the nearby small beach and a scenic amble to the larger main beaches. The balcony is the winning feature of this apartment! Also wonderful was the very helpful and attentive Juan. He was extremely responsive to our needs. The only challenge was the proximity to the train tracks, which were a bit noisy when the trains went by. My friend and I were not bothered by it though and I’m sure in town locations have much more noise overall. Thanks Juan for your cheerful hosting!!

SUNNIN' IN SITGES

STAY STAY STAY!!! My spouse and I are so thankful for the opportunity to have stayed in such a splendid space along the coast of Spain. Juan was very kind, considerate and thoughtful during the check-in and check-out process. Juan was helpful when we had to contact him on how to operate the stove and oven as the ones in Spain are very different than the ones we use in America. Since we like to eat, we appreciated his help in sorting out those details! The view is stunning. The location is secure. The sleep was wonderful. Capritx De Mar is perfect for a married couple, small family or a small group of friends. We hope to one day return. Thank you!

Stunning view! Couldn’t be closer to the sea!

The staff was awesome…. Whoever I communicated with via email was absolutely terrific. Answered everything perfectly and very promptly. Juan, who checked us into the apartment was more than helpful – – he even drove to find us when we could not locate the address. We do have a few things that we were not pleased with….. the fact that it was not mentioned that there is a railroad track behind the apartment that operates on every 20 minute basis except between midnight and 5 o’clock in the morning. we also felt that one roll of toilet paper for two people for six nights was really not at all adequate and we didn’t feel it was our obligation to provide our own toilet paper. We also felt the shower could have been more cared for…..caulking was put on the rim of the tub covered in mold. Was mold also on the shower walls. Cooking items could be refreshed. The location was very close to a Carrefour market but one needs a car to stay there. But again…staff was excellent!

Regarding the train noise, we want to clarify that this detail is mentioned in the apartment description: “Like many apartments in Sitges, the Punta Gavina development is not far from the railroad line, so trains can sometimes be heard from this property. However, the apartment is equipped with double-glazed windows and blinds to minimize noise at night.”. We also appreciate your comments about the shower and kitchen items, as well as the provision of supplies like toilet paper. These are all important details that we will address promptly to improve the experience for future guests. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide an even better experience.

Great location and one of the greatest views in Sitges. 5 min walk to a local beach and a couple more minutes to the Marina. Supermarket is a very short drive and well stocked. To get to town is about 20min walk but a nice view if you take the coastal path or quicker via the street route. Parking was ample but note a short walk to your apartment with the cases over the railway bridge with steps with your luggage. The pool was very centrally located and our little one loved it.

The most incredible location. A beautiful apartment with the most amazing sea views, where you can relax to the sound of the waves. The beach is so close (3 mins) where there is a lively beac bar, and not much further to the harbour with lots if good restaurants. The swimming pool is stunning! The balcony has a retractable awning which is helpful in the heat. The apartment had everything we needed. We hope to return!

Great view, balcony and service of the host

Wij hebben het woning voor het uitzicht gekozen. Balkoon was geweldig. Zelfs een paar nachten daar geslapen met rustgevende geluid van de zee. Jammer, dat aan de andere kant de trein heel dichtbij huis loopt. Wij sliepen met de ramen open en hadden wel last van. In de zomer, denk ik, met de airco aan en ramen dicht zou je daar minder last van hebben. Het huis is vrij simpel. Er is geen keuken doek. Dus neem het mee. Voor de rest heb je alles wat nodig is. Inchecken ging suppel. Het organisatie en de host staan voor al je vragen klaar en reageerd heel snel. Dit is fijn. Voor deze geweldige uitzicht naam ik min punten van het huis voor lief. Naar centrum lopen is 30 min. Er zijn geen winkels in de buurt waar je snel in de ochtend bloodje kan te voet halen. Wij hadden geen auto mee en gebruikte taxies. Van station tot het huis +-8 euro. Ga naar het museum in Sitges. Doe een uitstapje naar Barcelona en Tarragona. Er zijn stranden in de buurt. En ook nog genieten van je uitzicht... ik zou nog langer hier willen blijven
