Un séjour très agréable

La maison est très belle, tous les équipements et la décoration sont de haute qualité et en parfait état, choisis avec beaucoup de goût. La région (le sud de la Toscane) est superbe. L'hôte, Fabrizio est extrêmement sympathique et prévenant, répondant à toutes nos attentes et de conseils avisés.

lovely villa

Fabrizio's place is just gorgeous. When we arrived, he gave us a detailed tour of the gardens and house, both of which are beautiful and have all conveniences. We enjoyed walking to the small and lovely town of Farnatella, and driving a few minutes to the gorgeous Lucignano. While he and his wife do live in the downstairs of the house, they have a separate entrance and were respectful of our privacy while we were there. I hope to return for a longer stay!

Located in a peaceful location, the house is charming and homey. The hosts are very kind and accommodating, and we had a wonderful stay. The view from the bedroom balcony is spectacular.

Beautiful stay

We received a warm welcome from the family and a thorough explanation of the facilities, the surrounding area and places of interest. Fabrizio communicated easily with us using the translation phone app. The apartment is very clean, well equipped and offers a genuine Italian experience. Simply wonderful.

Perfect Tuscany Experience

Nice comfortable home in Tuscany landside

We had a very nice stay at the Poggio d‘Eremita. Fabrizio is a very nice host who made the stay unforgetable. Everything was fine, the place is stunning. We also got recommendations for visiting around Farnetella. A visit which I definitely can recommend to everyone.

Dieses wunderschöne Ferienhaus in der Toscana ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von dem Eigentümer begrüßt und alle Besonderheiten des Hauses wurden erläutert und gezeigt. In der gesamten Zeit konnten wir das Haus mit seiner schönen Dachterasse nutzen .

Rustic and Beautiful!

Poggio dell'Eremita was the last stop of our month in Tuscany and it was absolutely the most relaxing. Nestled amongst olive trees, the villa was super clean and so lovely. Comfortable seating, comfortable bed, beautiful decor, and multiple places outside to sit, read, and eat. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking, including bottles of wine available to purchase, and we also ate out at a great nearby restaurant Scroccazucche, recommended by our wonderful hosts Fabrizio and Nicola. We enjoyed a great tour of the gardens surrounding the house and got introduced to (rooster) Trump and his chickens, who were very quiet and polite and gave us 3 fresh eggs. We loved eating breakfast at the patio table outside the kitchen and relaxing in the afternoon on the covered back porch. The stairs to the bedroom areas are narrow and steep, but have good handrails and lighting. Upstairs there are screened windows that allow the breeze and an AC when it's too warm. Outside the bedroom is a rooftop deck with an amazing view across the valley and surrounding hills. Drive a little past where google directs, go around the next corner and look for the "Eremita" sign on the left where you can park your car...you won't regret a stay at this sweet villa! Fabrizio and Nicola are delightful hosts!

Magical Oasis in the heart of Tuscany

Right from the moment we arrived, Fabrizio was the most gracious, warm and welcoming host. We were tempted to record his uniquely charming welcome! The villa is even better than the photos! Fabrizio doesn’t speak English but communicates in all languages easily with a translation app., and his son is available and very responsive if you want someone to communicate with in English. Fabrizio provided an excellent selection of local wines on site at extremely reasonable prices. Every one we tried was great. Great restaurant with the best pizza in Italy 5 min drive away. Hard to mention all of the pluses: a different terrace for every time of the day, including a jaw dropping view from the BR terrace, patio with grill & fresh herbs to pick, absolutely beautiful gardens full of olive trees, jasmine, giant rosemary bushes, artichokes, strawberry lined pathways…, soft marble floor throughout (cooling and great underfoot), comfortable bed & linens…and did we mention the view? Many distant Tuscan hill towns visible including Cortona. We were sad to leave and would love to return someday!! Grazie mil Fabrizio & familia!!

Amazing Villa in the Heart of Tuscany

The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. Great views of the terrain by day and fantastic views of the stars at night. Very close to the enchanting villages on hilltops nearby (Rigamagno and Scrofiano).

Perfect Villa in Tuscany!

We absolutely loved our time in Fabrizio’s Tuscan villa. It was beautifully situated among an olive grove and we loved sitting out in the outdoor area enjoying a glass of wine. The local restaurant had incredible pizza and homemade pasta. Fabrizio was a gracious host who made himself available when we needed and was very accommodating. We will definitely be coming g back!

Fantastic home in Tuscany

Fabrizio was a great host, house exceeded our expectations. Secluded, quiet BUT Sinalunga was close by for supplies. Siena was 30 minutes away. In the close by village of Rigomagno was a restaurant called Scroccazuche (suggested by our host)...it was some of the finest food we have EVER eaten

The Perfect Tuscan Retreat

From the moment that we arrived, each day was a gift. The beautiful villa situated amongst the olive groves was beyond our expectations. From exploring the gorgeous grounds to the fabulous view from the upstairs balcony situated off the Primary suite, we were tempted never to leave this expeptional property. We were welcomed by our host's, Fabrizio and Paula who generously shared tid bits of info about the region which were invaluable to our overall experience. The nearby town has the most amazing restaurant that we frequented and that we also selfishly indulged in for take away to enjoy in the beautiful sunrooom for a romantic dinner for two. Oh, and as an added bonus, the hen on the property just might lay an egg or two for breakfast!! We highly recommend this gorgeous villa. The current pictures do not do the property justice! We were greeted by Fabrizio and made to feel at home. Kitchen was well equipped (just need your own spices). Close to all the towns and villages we wanted to see. This property is beautifully decorated and the grounds are just as pretty. Would recommend this property!!!

Perfect spot close to so many towns (Pienza, Montepulciano, Siena)

We absolutely loved our stay! Fabrizio was a wonderful host, he met us outside and showed us where to park. Gave us a brief history of the house and quick tour. He recommended an amazing local restaurant and quaint little town to visit, Lucignano, that you can see up on the hill from the house. Hardest part about the stay is deciding which towns to visit!

Idyllic stay in Tuscany

Wonderful hosts, cottage, and location in a peaceful olive grove setting. We confused our check-our day, and the hosts were very gracious with us despite our error and late check-out. The house is fully stocked with wine and refreshments for purchase. It’s a charming location centrally located to the best of what Tuscany has to offer. Highly recommend! ❤️

Fabulous place

The owner, Fabrizio, was so charming. He doesn't speak any English, but he has Google Translate down. This house is more beautiful than the photos show. The grounds are immaculate & we were told that we could use any of the herbs growing in the garden. We made 2 dinners while we were there and the kitchen is well equipped to cook in. There are no spices, so you have to bring your own. The location is in the country, but you can get to many Tuscan villages in a short amount of time. If we return to Tuscany, we will stay here again.

With them I decided to venture into this new experience by making available to the guests the house in which I grew up, the long restoration in which we have engaged in recent years, has given me the opportunity to express what for me means to host. I add that I am a sports person, I love walking and cycling and I will be happy to recommend interesting routes in my area to guests who decide to choose my house.

On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, a large and bright living room and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor, accessible only through a stairway, there is a large bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. From the first floor you access the panoramic terrace. The romantic patio and the large garden surrounding the property are the ideal place to enjoy pleasant and relaxing outdoor meals thanks to the barbecue available to guests.
