Our stay in Rome couldnât have been better! This modern, beautifully decorated apartment was the ideal home base for exploring the city. With 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms in a roommate-style layout, it was perfect for traveling with friends or family â everyone had their own space and privacy. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to cook (although we didnât take advantage. But we could have because there was ready to cook pasta available!), and having a washer/dryer was a huge bonus for our summer travels. The air conditioning kept us cool and comfortable, even in the heat of July. Every detail felt thoughtful and convenient. Our host Andrea even left a converter for us to use for those who may not have realized that one is needed if they are visiting from another country such as the US. The neighborhood was safe and peaceful, with ample street parking. Itâs also close to the train station, so getting in and out of the city â or even taking day trips â was super easy. There are plenty of great cafes and restaurants just a short walk away, which made dining out spontaneous and stress-free. Definitely read her trip recommendations on getting around and the cool eats in theOur host, Andrea was kind and responsive, offering helpful local recommendations and making check-in a breeze. This place really felt like a home away from home.Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for comfort, style, and convenience stay in Rome. Weâd absolutely stay here again!
The apartment was absolutely wonderful very clean and well stocked with everything you needed. This place is located right next to the train station and is in walking distance from many eateries, and several places like the Vatican City. Overall this place is a 10.
Lovely apartment in convenient location near the Vatican. The amenities were excellent and the young man who met us on arrival was accommodating and knowledgeable. The only necessary improvement is in the kitchen. There werenât any wine glasses. The corkscrew was of poor quality. The dishes in the cabinet were inconveniently high.
The apartment is Beautiful. We loved having 2 very spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The location is perfect, so close to the Vatican and couple of minutes walk to a train station that makes it so easy to go anywhere from the apartment. Also the apartment was very clean with everything necessary for the stay. Check-in was also super easy. Andrea was a nice host
Andrea was the nicest host ! We loved the apartment set up with 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms! The kitchen and living area plenty spacious and very clean - nicely decorated!
Beautifully decorated large Vrbo. Close to many sites which is convenient but the trade off is itâs noisy. The city noises quiet down at bedtime allowing for a restful sleep in large bedrooms. There is a helpful map inside adjacent to the front door with pinned sites to see. The person who greeted us at checkin was very helpful pointing out various places. Two minutes from the train station and 1 minute from the grocer.I would rent this place again when in Rome.
Great location- near restaurants, next door to groc, 30 min walk to Vatican City. Two couples went- total privacy for each with spacious ensuite bedrooms/ baths. Comfy beds! Awesome communication with host, check in a breeze. Highly recommend!!!!!
4 night stay for 4 adults. This apartment is just as advertised and ideal for either short or long stay in Rome. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Easy to navigate the eternal city by foot from this location. Quick response from owner for minor hot water issue during stay. Would stay here again.
Clean, well appointed, great location, friendly host
We stayed for 8 nights (2 adults 2 teenage children)--apartment very clean and equipped with everything we needed (which we really appreciated because we didn't have to run out and buy supplies right away). The owner met us when we arrived and gave us a 5 minute orientation, which we appreciated. Anything we needed he responded immediately. The location is great--as mentioned by others there is a bar/cafe located directly across the street that is open early for coffee and pastries, and late (like 10PM) for a beer or a wine. The owner of cafe was very friendly, always helpful (he carried coffees across the street for us several mornings). The market, which has everything, is a few steps away, bank machine, laundromat (although the unit has laundry), and metro just down the street. Literally one street over is a main artery of Rome and the street is filled with cafes and restaurants, pharmacy, etc. Very convenient and close by. Our teenage boys ate pizza and pasta nearly every day at the nearby restaurant and ran to the market for supplies whenever they wanted. While the unit is on a relatively quiet street, it is on street level and if windows are open, you can hear everything going on outside (cars, scooters, conversations). However with windows closed, it really wasn't an issue. All considered we recommend and would stay there again. Just so easy to get everywhere in Rome from this home base.
This is a rental to avoid. Advertised as "Luxury", it is anything but that. The apartment has 3 rooms. All 3 rooms share a wall with a busy and noisy sidewalk outside. The street next to that sidewalk is equally busy and noisy. Each room has only 1 of the 3 windows. The pictures on the VRBO site show the shades open. Unrealistic, unless you want the passer-bys to look in or eavesdrop on you. The same holds for opening the windows for any fresh air.On our first night, the host entered our apartment (right off the street mind you), while we were there, without knocking. He also entered it, days later, when we weren't around. The apartment advertises WiFi. My computer was getting less than 1MB/second. In response, the host said "for some reason, WiFi doesn't work for American and British computers". Go figure. On our last night, an alarm (smoke? Carbon Monoxide?) went off at 2am. The host had to be begged to come over and address it. He finally did 45 minutes later and just took the offending alarm with him. We ended up only staying 5 of the 15 days we had booked. VRBO's response to these events: to totally discount the input from the consumer (us) and support their customer, the host. No relief from VRBO At half the price, it could be considered acceptable.
This apartment is located near Vatican City on a quiet side street, but with access to all city services (busses, trains, stores, restaurants, etc.). The property managers were very efficient. The apartment was spotless upon our arrival. We would stay here again without any reservations. It was the perfect gateway to the Rome we love.
We loved our stay in Rome, and this apartment for all of our needs. Great location, comfortable beds, great kitchen with everything we needed, and beautifully designed.
Checking in with Andrea was easy and she was very responsive. I would recommend this apartment b for a family of 4 or couples traveling.
The property was very nice. Looks just as pictures show. Beds were very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Communication was great. Check in was very simple.
Thanks
Beautifully decorated apartment near the Vatican. Comfortable beds nice bathrooms and perfect for the 3 of us. The nicest VRBO Iâve ever stayed in.
The only drawback is the washer/dryer combo unit did not get the cloths all the way dry. We couldnât figure out how to just run the dryer. We hung up what didnât dry on the towel warmers and everything was dry by morning.
Easy walk from Roma S Pietro train station.
