Seaborne est un appartement en attique situé dans le tout nouveau développement de Quayside Court et bénéficie d'une vue magnifique sur Quayside.

Cet appartement superbement meublé (ascenseur à tous les étages) est dans un endroit fantastique pour tous les agréments locaux, y compris quelques pubs confortables, de belles boutiques indépendantes et de bons fish and chips. Vous pouvez vous essayer à la pêche au crabe sur le quai ou faire une promenade tonifiante le long du chemin menant à la pinède et à la plage.

L'appartement dispose de deux balcons, l'un donnant sur les marais salants vers la plage, l'autre sur les toits de la ville pittoresque.

Excellent location, wonderful views

A lovey apartment with fantastic views over the salt marshes, an ever changing vista. Warm, comfortable and well equipped with great beds good size shower in the ensuite. it has a small free standing freezer in the dining area which isn’t included in the description on the Norfolk Hidaways website, this was a useful addition We had a problem with the lights flickering on our first day, we rang the agents who were very helpful and sent an electrician to sort it the same day. It’s a wonderful base for visiting the wide range of nature reserves along the north Norfolk coast and see some winter visitors like Snow buntings, so good we will be returning.

Great location

Great location, particularly in warm weather when both balconies could be used. Both, however, along with the windows, would benefit from a more rigorous cleaning regime. I appreciate there is only so much that can be done to mitigate gull droppings but both outside areas had clearly not been prepared for use when we arrived. There is also a shortage of hanging space which could be addressed relatively easily, quickly and cheaply e.g. bathrobe hooks in the master shower room. This has been raised before by previous guests but, inexplicably, not actioned. That being said, it's still an excellent holiday property.

Good location and views, property not as well cared for as it should be

Beautiful views and prime location. We were disappointed with the general maintenance and up keep of the property. We did not feel it was to the high level advertised by Norfolk hideaways. We had a number of issues ( broken handle on fridge, light bulbs above bed gone in both bedrooms, unable to open one of the balcony doors as the key had broken in the lock to name a few) We reported to Norfolk hideaways at the earliest opportunity and some one came as soon as possible to rectify. However the lady from customer services that we reported them to was quite rude and implied that we should have reported them on Friday when we arrived ( considering check in for this property is 4pm and their offices close at 5pm we found this a tad unrealistic). There was no customer care and after the maintenance worker had attended there was no follow up call or email to check we were happy and our issues had been resolved. It should not be the responsibility of the person holidaying in the property to ensure it is adequately maintained. However Norfolk hideaways did not seem to grasp this concept and for that reason we would not book another holiday with them and would not recommend them to others. We have been staying in wells for over 10years and there are plenty of beautiful places to stay that are well looked after so don’t just be taken in by the views.

Return to Wells

We have stayed in Wells many times but this was our first visit to this property. We were very happy with the accommodation except that due to a change in the weather the main bedroom became very cold, draughty and noisy as the wind was whistling through the balcony door constantly. Would certainly make a return visit in the hope that the weather was better and the gap around the door was fixed.

Excellent location for a stay in Wells

Really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. Apartment kitchen was well equipped. Left a note to say several of the over bed reading lights needed new bulbs and one of the bulbs in the kitchen also needed replacing.

The apartment is in an excellent location with excellent views out to sea and two balconies. Whilst it was very clean and the living area was very comfortable, the boiler is in the main bedroom. This means that the room became very hot and we turned the boiler off every night. The fact that the underfloor heating was broken did not matter because the weather was so good in the last week of December but it should have been available . We have stayed in Wells many times . The price of the apartment reflected the parking space and the view. It is a personal decision whether or not this justifies high rental costs.

Seaborne is a beautiful well located property which we have been to twice now and already booked for next year, The only thing I could say is that the beds are uncomfortable but this hasn’t put us off returning.

Great week in this beautiful apartment.

Really lovely top floor apartment with great views over the quayside at Wells. Stunning location. Beautifully decorated and furnished. All amenities you could possibly need - washer/drier, dishwasher, oven, microwave etc. Lovely balconies too - great to sit out at the front and watch the world go by. Norfolk hideaways were great to deal with too - answering any enquiries promptly. We had a fantastic week away here - great base for walking and cycling (we hired bikes from Wells cycle hire). One heads up - if you don't want to cook and would like to eat out, Wells has only a handful of restaurants (all with quite limited menus at the moment) so think about booking ahead!

Views are stunning

Mattress in ensuite bedroom slopes on right side so made for vey uncomfortable nights sleep. Probably need a new mattress. Vellux window blind would not close and with curtains that were not black out curtains woke us at dawn every morning with sun rising at 0430 am... Perfect if you like getting up at dawn! And must admit for us to see the sun rising was lovely.. But not every day! Patio furniture covered in bird poo and cobwebs and our heads got covered in spider webs when went over to TV area in lounge. Amazing views though, perfect location. Lounge and kitchen area perfect apart from above. Parking space tight and not undercover but very lucky to have parking so good and an added bonus. If few issues could be sorted with bed, curtains and Vellux would be incredible.

Disappointed to see numerous stains on the lounge carpet which had obviously been there for some time. Both balconies are in need of attention . Well appointed in excellent location.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Seaborne the position of the apartment was first class and the views amazing. We were informed provisions would be there for our first night a little disappointed. Recently went to Cornwall and were greeted with a lovely cream tea the little extra touches make all the difference. Otherwise everything required was in the apartment.

Nice views spacious apartment

Lovely spacious top floor apartment in a great location. Great views across the estuary nice to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and watch the world go by. Very clean and tidy with the advantage of a parking space in the courtyard (would be a bit small for a really large 4 x 4 or van though). Plenty to see and do, nice restaurants a short walk away and the weather was great. Overall a very good holiday. The only reason I've not given excellent is the matteress in the master bedroom needs replacing and we had to buy loo roll and milk on the first day something we've never had to do before with apartments of this type/price.

Disappointing

The property looked amazing on the website but for the price we paid it was disappointing. We have had to report several deficiencies to Norfolk Hideaways. The office did telephone us before our arrival to report three minor faults which they would happily have sorted for us but we were prepared to put up with them for the duration of our stay. Although most of the other problems we found were minor and possibly not worth mentioning in isolation, the sheer number of them suggests that the property has not been adequately maintained. Doors were a recurring problem - the door to the main balcony was unlocked when we arrived, the lock was faulty and we had to leave it unlocked; the door to the balcony in the bedroom would not open because of the carpet but there was a draught coming through it - it appeared to be slightly bent; the door between the hall and the lounge would not close, again because of the carpet. We were originally attracted to the property by the balconies but, even if the weather had been good, they would not have been pleasant places to sit. They needed weeding and tidying; there were marks on the walls caused by what looked like wet plaster marks running down them; the balcony furniture had not been cleaned and the chairs seemed to have been left all over the place by previous occupants rather than arranged neatly around the tables. We have scored cleanliness as good but only for the interior and not for the balconies. We were grateful for the lift - another reason why we chose this property and not a cheaper property, also available, in the same block

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location

An immaculate holiday apartment with truly wonderful balcony views. A few board games/books/jigsaws might be a good addition for those of us unlucky with the weather! Would also have liked a, specific to the property, simple guide to bins, wi-fi code, supermarket location etc but these are tiny quibbles! Would definitely recommend and return.

Seaborne Wells next the sea

Excellent location, well presented with parking. A winter let does restrict some of the view from within the flat and it can be noisy if there is a winter storm! We felt that the owners could be more generous with the basic provisions. There was only one dish washer tablet, not enough toilet paper for two people for four nights, not enough soap in the en-suite and none in the other bathroom and only just enough washing up liquid. However it is a well presented apartment in a great location and we enjoyed our stay
