Loved this property so comfortable with everything you need. Outside area again very comfortable with a sea view. Peaceful and relaxing stay with a good local pub
Chapelmarsh is gorgeous. You won't want to do much once you arrive. So comfortable, with everything you need. The views from the terrace are wonderful. Great location for a peaceful break with good walks and beach very close.
Chapelmarsh is a beautifully decorated well appointed holiday home. The house has everything you need for a relaxing break. Bed was very comfortable and everything worked well. The owner left us lots of goodies on arrival including milk which was really helpful. We enjoyed the outside patio and had breakfast outside most days enjoying the beautiful sea views. Salthouse itself had a good pub, a shop and a cafe selling mainly seafood and amazing bacon baps. Good location for exploring the area. The only issue we had was the shower was continuously dripping which the owner said would be addressed. Definitely recommend staying here.
Quiet location with a stunning view and all the facilities and homeliness that you could hope for. The very nice welcome pack was also greatly appreciated. Weâre certain to return!
This was our third visit to Chapelmarsh and its now home from home! We love it. Excellent locaion, beautiful decor, secure garden for the dogs and lovely terrace.
The property is beautifully finished, quirky and welcoming. Garden is lovely with wonderful views - our determined cocker spaniel did manage to escape but a tactically placed plant pot solved the problem. Great location for coastal walks and lovely pub just a short stroll away. Would highly recommend.
The converted chapel is very warm and comfortable with long distant sea views. Spotless and well stocked as well as a grouse welcome pack from the owners.
We had a lovely weekend, the house was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. The views out to sea are beautiful and after a busy week it was lovely to sit on the verandah with a glass of wine in a sheltered spot breathing in the views.
Clean comfortable and cosy cottage.Well equipped with great heating and loads of hot water.Great views over the marshes to sea.Accessed by narrow rutted lane.Fantastic pub - the Dun Cow - within 200m of property.
The accomidation was super comfortable. Even though the weather outside was cold and damp we were warm and comfortable. The welcome gifts were unexpected and very welcome. The accomidation was well equipped. The views from the terrace were beautiful.
We had a lovely 4 night stay in chapelmarsh. The chapel was warm, clean, cosy and relaxing with everything that we needed and more. The towels and bedding were if very good quality and there were nice little touches everywhere. We liked the open plan aspect looking out of the raised patio towards the sea. The owners have an eye for detail with a good finish. The sofa was very comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely little welcome offering of local and quality treats. We really enjoyed our stay and to watch the stormy waves from afar at the kitchen table in the cosy warm chapel was a highlight. hypnotic. Chapelmarsh is a place we would return to as the owners have really taken great care and effort to make it a welcoming and relaxing place to enjoy the north norfolk coast. Thank you.
This is a quirky lovely place, that we really enjoyed staying in. It's so well presented, with everything you could possibly need. It's was warm and cosy and comfortable. The track to the car park needs careful negotiating, but once you've done it it's easier. The location is perfect, and the garden is a bonus, we were visited by Muntjac ,and lots od birds. If you want somewhere different this is well worth a try , we loved it .
Beautiful property in a stunning location, with views of the sea. We couldnt fault it. The welcome goodies were even excellent yummy, local produce. Fresh flowers and a card from the owner's were a nice touch. We've already booked again!
The property was fantastic, we had a great time staying here for a long weekend in Norfolk. The location was very good, with easy access to the beach.
The welcome pack was a very nice surprise.
Thank you for everything.
A beautiful and very unusual bungalow, with spectacular views.
A place that you can really relax.
A great location to enjoy North Norfolk, so many places to visit.
Very special.
We had a lovely stay, even though the weather was not kind to us. The property is in a great location with a super pub and a shop within easy walking distance and Holt, Wells and Sheringham all just a short drive away. Lovely walk across the marshes to the beach. The host (Robert) fixed a small problem for us very quickly on request. Overall, a super short break away from it all.
Chapelmarsh is a truly wonderful place to stay. Everything is provided along with the generous welcome hamper. The garden is very secure for our dog and gives peace of mind. The views from the garden are lovely and it is a very peaceful place to relax. We would love to return again. Thank you
Beautifully presented property with quality and comfortable furnishings. Quirky but sophisticated decor. Great views from the terrace. Ideal hideaway. Would definitely go again (won't recommend to others as we want to have a good choice of dates đ)

Great period building in a stunningly picturesque location overlooking the famous bird watching nature reserve to the sea.
Peacefully located yet a short 5-minute stroll to the beach and all the amenities of Salthouse Village. Nearby are all the fabulous attractions that North Norfolk has to offer.
This locale is famed for it's hauntingly scenic, wild beauty, it's no wonder artists, writers, and filmmakers flock to this part of the North Norfolk coast.
Chapelmarsh contains a wealth of period features, including an original stained-glass panel, which we restored during our renovation in 2012. We offer a truly high-spec accommodation with all the modern amenities necessary for a luxurious, wonderful stay, moreover the sea-views from the cottage are absolutely breathtaking!
Many of my interiors have featured in magazines, and combined with our experience of running a former multi-award winning boutique establishment dubbed the 'Best B&B in England' over a number of years, so we know what will appeal to the discerning visitor. Attention to detail is paramount! Something really special that makes our holiday cottages stand out from the rest, and a place where you will want to return time and time again!
