Great condo near the channel

Great place to stay for a long weekend at Port A. Short distance to the boat dock and beach. The unit we stayed in had elevator acess, which was a plus for my husband.

Best Condo in Port A

We have stayed at many different locations in Port A and this location and unit is at the top of our list. Excellent condo. Beds are extremely comfortable, all was very clean, parking is in the shade, and the ease of pool and pier use made it all well worth it. We will be back, loved it!

Reviewer Comments: Great condo with lots of amenities including grills, a pier, a chilled/heated pool, and lovely spaces to sit and enjoy a view of the channel. The interior is updated and spacious. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. Coffee pot is only a 4 cup so bring appropriate filters and be prepared to make a few cups if you have more than 2 adults in the condo who drink coffee. Nice size fridge and freezer. would definitely choose again.

Great condo with nice grounds and access to a fishing pier. The pool was chilled rather than heated due to extreme heat this summer. Kitchen is well-appointed with great utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. Coffee drinkers should be prepared that it had a small coffee pot rather than a full-size, so you'll need to make a couple of pots if you have more than one cup or more than 2 coffee drinkers in your party. Also bring extra filters. Dish soap and laundry soap were provided as were basic toiletries. Will definitely choose again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would give my experience a 4 out of 5 stars. The room was clean , as well as the linens. The only complaints that I have, is that the blinds in my room were broken which didn't look very nice for the customers I was entertaining. There was also no elevator to take up coolers, groceries, and such. Overall, we made the best of it and had a great time. The BBQ pits are awesome and the peer was in close proximity to them as well. I also noticed that the property was very well manicured. I would definitely stay again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We take an annual trip to Port A every summer and this is the third time we've stayed at Channelview. The only disappointment we have is that we didn't discover this place sooner! The private pier is a must for the kids and allows the adults to relax and enjoy some healthy down time. You can sit at the pool or in your room (depending on which room you have) and watch the non-stop flow of ships, from small to huge, travel along the shipping channel at all hours of the day and night and the beach is in close proximity as well. Book your stay. You will enjoy it immensely!
