This was a great location in an ideal neighborhood. It was easy to take the Underground anywhere we wanted to go, but had a friendly neighborhood atmosphere that was nice to come home to each day. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent.

Great Location

The home is located vary close to the tube and bus stops which made getting around the area so easy. There is even an Amazon grocery store just around the corner.Our place was clean and had everything we needed for our week in London. We especially liked having umbrellas available.

Amazing and Charming - PERFECT location!!

We had the best experience with this property. With more than 10 years of using VRBO, this was the easiest check-in and check-out I’ve ever had. The instructions were fantastic - and with pictures too! The property itself was like being at home. It was cozy and clean and relaxing to come back to after a day of sightseeing!! FIVE STARS!!

Awesome location, great flat

Everything was exactly as advertised, just steps from all kinds of coffee shops, restaurants, and Hyde Park. Great with older kids since they had a room on a different level. Huge king bed upstairs. Very safe area. Also, the hosts let us check in early as we arrived on a morning flight from the states and communication as easy and clear. We would definitely stay again, we were sad to leave!!!!!

Spacious and Comfortable Stay

The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds and clean linen. While it wasvery cold outside, the heaters at this apartment worked very well and was warm and cosy to come home to after a day out in the cold. The water pressure was excellent and the kitchen had everything needed. The apartment is off the main road on a quiet street and extremely conveniently located.We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Great Stay

My sister and I enjoyed a quick 3 night getaway to London from the U.S. Property was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and is located very close to the underground railway. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We were able to explore central London, as well as take a day trip via bus to Windsor, Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath. We enjoyed relaxing in the well-appointed flat in the evenings after busy sightseeing days. Amazon Fresh had everything we were looking for and is located right around the corner. Will definitely look to stay here for any future London trips.

I’m originally Sri Lankan, born and raised in the UK, and have spent much of my life between both countries. I now live in Dubai, but Notting Hill has been a huge part of my life for over 20 years.

Having lived in the area since 2005, I know it inside out — not just the well-known spots, but the hidden gems, local favourites, and the little details that make a stay truly special.

I enjoy hosting because it allows me to offer more than just a place to stay. I want guests to experience Notting Hill the way a local would — from the best places to eat and explore, to simple things like the easiest transport routes and shortcuts that save time.

My aim is always to provide a space where guests feel completely at ease — a true home away from home — so they can relax, sleep well, and make the most of their time in London.

I also share a curated local guide with guests, including my personal recommendations built over years of living in the area.

I chose Notting Hill because it’s one of the most unique and vibrant areas in London.

I originally moved to the area in 2005 after living in Paddington, and over the years it naturally became my home and where I built my property portfolio.

What makes Notting Hill special is its energy and diversity. Unlike more formal areas like Knightsbridge or Mayfair, it has a relaxed and inclusive feel. You’ll find people from all walks of life here creatives, professionals, families, all blending into a neighbourhood that feels both lively and welcoming.

From the iconic Portobello Road to the cafĂ©s, restaurants, and independent shops, there’s always something happening. Yet at the same time, it still manages to feel safe, charming, and very much like a community.

It’s a place where everyone fits in and that’s what makes it so special.
