This was our third year at this home and it has been an excellent choice in accommodations. It is always clean, the host is always on top of it, the beds are comfortable, and we have found it to be the perfect place to spend a week with our adult children and grown grandchildren.

Stunning view. Easy beach access. Nice deck and yard. Plenty of space for our group of six. Close to the ferry. Short drive to Lopez Village.

Watched the Ferry, relaxed in the hot tub and had nice walks on the beach. Time capsule of a house from it's era and fun to stay in. :)

We had a group of 8 adults spend 5 nights here. It was very roomy for us, had a nice deck, a hot tub, and good beach access. The view of the bay was amazing and one evening we were treated to a show by 6 orcas in the bay. There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed but overall, we had a great stay and would definitely like to return.

The view from the backyard was just unbelivable. We sat outside by the hour watching wildlife. The hot tub and fire pit were amazing. The house was very unsual. The house was very clean, but it was old and dated.

This the second year we have stayed at this property and it is a great place to stay. Weather was good as was the crabbing. We hope to stay again next year.

This is our second stay. The location is excellent, with beautiful views of the ferries and sea life. The house is not luxurious, but quirky and comfortable. There was a mix up with the housekeeping, but the host took care of it immediately.

Thank you for letting our family stay at your beautiful home. Our young adults had a great time enjoying the game room. The hot tub could have been bit hotter but was very lovely and the view with it! Wish there was guest book to sign!

Awesome View!

This waterfront location can't be beat. The view is spectacular from inside and outside the home. Great access to the beach. The home is clean and well equipped. Having a hot tub is a real bonus.

Fantastic spot

Seven of us stayed in this house and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The view onto Shoal Harbor is gorgeous, the hot tub was great, and the house is comfortable and cozy. We cooked most of our meals there and had everything we needed. Angie (local contact) was really quick to respond and helpful when we had a few questions. It was hard to leave!

This home was a lovely place to relax on Lopez Island. The views are absolutely enchanting, especially from the hot tub and the enormous picture window in the living room. We enjoyed time by the firepit and playing air hockey! While it was just the two of us, we can confirm this would be a great house for families with kids. So much to do with the game room and the easy steps down to the beach. The upstairs beds were very comfortable but since we didn't use the downstairs bedrooms we can't vouch for those.

Amazing View and Location

Wow what a great house with a lower floor perfect for our two cavefish teenagers and the rest of the house for us. We kayaked from here to Obstruction Park (Orcas) and did some fantastic biking around Lopez. Also easy day trip to Friday Harbor. Sad we HAD to leave.... Thanks to Sarah and John for being great hosts!

Island Escape

Slightly dated decor (70s vibe - grandma's house?) but has everything you could need. Chaise lounges on the patio were great for soaking in the sun while staring at the water. Hot tub fits 4 people comfortably. Cell reception is terrible so get directions and door code before you leave Anacortes. Plenty of space for our group of 7 adults and 1 infant.

Loved the view.

We loved the view and we loved seeing all the birds and animals. The L shaped couches facing the water were always occupied. We. Would visit again in a heartbeat if we could bring our daughters dog/child but alas, dogs are not allowed. The house rules notebook talked about dogs being at the house and people in the guest book said their dogs loved the place and there is a great fenced in area that would be perfect for Fideo...its too bad dogs are no longer allowed. I was also never able to find a specific list of things to do at check out so we made our best guess and did the dishes and put towels in the laundry room and covered the bbq, locked windows ect ect. The beds were comfy and we enjoyed the original 70's retro decor, especially the hanging grape bunches light fixtures in the basement bathroom, they were spectular. Over all we loved our time at the house and our time on the island. Thanks for sharing your home.

Wonderful stay on Lopez

We had a group of seven family members across three generations, and just loved staying in this beautiful home on Lopez. The view is spectacular, and we all enjoyed watching the light and the water change constantly throughout the day, including watching the ferries come and go and sightings of seals and seabirds. We also enjoyed the beachfront, the deck, and the grassy lawn. The house is very well located, near the ferry and the village, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive.

Amazing location with a revolving portrait that was breathe taking! Great location for boating, crabbing, and relaxing! Awesome rental owners that thought of everything people would need to enjoy the property!

It's now MY secret hideaway.

Located on the shores of Shoal Bay this Lopez Island home is a retreat far and away better than any I've stayed at.

Perfect anniversary weekend

The view is magic. The property managers were extremely helpful and quick to reply. We biked on the ferry and were able to drop all of our stuff off at the house before checking in later. The hot tub was critical after our huge bike rides. Perfect vacation home.

Excellent views

We loved our stay here. The views were amazing. Even being that close to the neighbors, we never saw or heard them. It was very private. If you want to get away and relax, this is the place to do it. We would stay here again.
