Adorable beach cabin within a few steps to a secluded beach!
Enjoy this cute nautical cabin with a gorgeous view of the water and just a few stairs out your back door from the beach. On this property you can swim in the fresh water pond, hike through wooded trails, take a kayak adventure straight from the beach, roast a smore on a beach campfire, play some games on the large grass sports field and much more all on this 33 acre marvelous estate! There is another cabin about the same size on the property if you have larger parties and would like to book both, please message for details.
To get to this property you will need to take a ferry from Anacortes to Lopez Island. Reservations can be made up to 2 months in advance. Wait times can be hours if you do not have a reservation. The property is a 12 minute drive from the ferry terminal to your vacation rental. Below is the link to make ferry reservations.
Very private cabin with beautiful views. Enjoyed the private beach and had a lovely bonfire one evening. Created fun memories with the easy to access kayaks. Location was off the beaten path which was just what we wanted - yet so close Lopez city with good eats and activities. Great stay if you are looking for something quiet, remote, and comfortable with a great host.
This property is serene, beautiful, family friendly and a great place for a much needed retreat. Beautiful memories were built as our family had time to enjoy the amazing views, cooler weather and sounds of the sea. We spent most of the two full days packed with fun on the property alone (but go to the farmer's market on Saturday during the summer to buy Diane's fabulous clam chowder & Mike's amazing wooden figures).
Located on nice estate. Steps away from a nice beach area. Quiet area to walk or bike around. The little house is nearly new and the heated floor makes it comfortable in any weather. Wall of windows facing the water provides great views.
Incredible stay at Lopez Island. The cabin and property were amazing. Itâs better than the pictures and the house is right on the water overlooking the beach. Diane was a gracious host and made sure to check in to see if we needed anything. We had a great time exploring the beach and surrounding areas. The views are amazing and much of our time was spent simply enjoying looking out into the sound. There is wildlife everywhere. Small Island sits just off the shore and is frequented by a large number of seals and birds which we had a great time spotting. The location is great and you are about 5 minutes from the village if you need to grab a meal, stop at the market or visit some shops. Some of the better food we had was at the Vortex Cafe and Ursa Minor. Other than that we spent our time around the property taking walks and utilizing the grill to cook meals. The house had everything we needed to prepare some great meals. I would recommend a stay at Dianeâs cabin if you are looking to for a relaxing weekend and wanting to spend some time in nature. We will surely be back as we loved our time on Lopez Island at Dianeâs beautiful property.
Thanks to Diane for sharing her wonderful family get away. What a beautiful spot, in a lovely location. The cabin had everything you'd need and the hospitality was so appreciated. We had a lovely time!
Very nice cabin, well set up, everything we needed, the view out the front window and from the lawn is worth the price. It is a little slice of heaven.
This was an amazing vacation spot! The house was spotless, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and had a spectacular view of the water and surrounding islands. Saw lots of wildlife every day including eagles, seals, and herons. Our host Diane was very friendly and responsive. We would love to come back some day!
The Bumstead family purchased this amazing property in 1946 and have enjoyed its beauty for these many years. We moved to Lopez Island permanently in 2020. We love showing and sharing our little slice of Heaven, and have had so many return again and again! Mike and Diane love participating in the Farmers Market each year where we sell hand made wooden ferry boats, sail boats and kayaks along with homemade clam chowder. We love our family which consists of 5 children, 22 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren! We are sure you will love this property as much as we do!!
This vacation rental is located on 33 acres with a wonderful beach, fire ring, and a large fresh water swimming area . Our favorite is the view. Seals on small Island, ferry boats making their journey from island to island. Eagles soaring, and all the sounds of nature. there is nothing to compare!!!
There are so many activities here. Hiking, kayaking (we rent them on property) a variety of beaches and areas to visit, biking, and enjoying the quaint Lopez Village with all it has to offer.
