Beau 1er étage, appartement victorien de 2 chambres situé sur une route tranquille dans un emplacement fantastique entre South Kensington, Chelsea et Earls Court. L'appartement est très proche de la belle Redcliffe Square - un quartier branché et charmant à Londres. Superbe terrasse privée sur le toit face au sud ouest. Complètement rénové et rénové à haut niveau. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout ce dont on aurait besoin pour un séjour parfait. Les chambres ont des lits de haute qualité et nous ne fournissons que du linge de lit en coton égyptien et des serviettes de qualité supérieure. Il y a un canapé-lit dans le salon. WIFI et TV.

Perfect spot near Earls Ct

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at this lovely flat. Dave and Shelley were wonderful hosts, he even picked us up at the airport which was amazing. The flat was very clean, the beds were so comfortable and the terrace was lovely, we didn’t get to enjoy it that much because it was too chilly the week we were there. The location was great and Dave and Shelley gave us some wonderful restaurantRecommendations. We very much enjoyed the restaurants a few blocks away on Hollywood Rd. . I will say that the flat is smaller than it appears in the photos-definitely a 2 person stay. Would stay here again tho!

Beautiful apartment in a prime location

This apartment is ideally located in Chelsea. The hosts, David and Shelly were the most wonderful people and we would stay there again. The area is gorgeous and there are many places to walk such as restaurants and shopping as well plus near the tube.. Out hosts basically went out of their way to make sure we had a fabulous trip. Cozy Chelsea flat

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Shelley and Dave's flat. Super cute and cozy. We had everything we needed and more which began with a super helpful pick up from Heathrow airport. Dave delivered us to the flat and gave us keys and all the important info. There were even groceries left for us which made breakfast so so nice the next morning. They were very responsive to any and all questions and super helpful with tips about local restaurants and walks. The neighborhood is very nice on a quiet street and about a 7 min walk to the tube. Shelley and Dave are wonderful hosts that care.Cheers!

Mother/Son Adventure

I stayed in Dave and Shelley's cozy flat for 2 weeks with my 26 year old son. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed. The two bedrooms have very comfortable beds and nice bedding, great for a good night's sleep after long days sightseeing. The kitchen was well-appointed and stocked by the hosts with lots of goodies, which was lovely and thoughtful. While we didn't cook, the kitchen has everything one needs, and there is a nice table for eating. The bathroom had everything we needed - shower over deep bath with plenty of hot water. We used the terrace during nice weather for tea, and it was lovely. The flat has very nice natural light and large windows, and was also immaculately clean. The street is quiet and the neighborhood nice and convenient. We used the underground, and walked all over everywhere, and it was way and safe. One of the nicest touches was that Dave picked me up from the airport, and showed me around the neighborhood before depositing me in the flat. It was so nice not to have to find my own way after a long, transatlantic flight. Dave and Shelley were both attentive and thoughtful both before and through our stay - I 'd happily stay there again when next in town!

10 Perfect Days

Our journey started with a greeting from Dave at Heathrow, followed by a comfortable ride to the flat in his zippy & roomy red Tesla. Dave walked us through the ins & outs of the flat and provided us with generous provisions: bread, cheese, apples, grapes, eggs, milk, tea, coffee & more! Just what we needed after an overnight flight. We enjoyed dining at Hollywood Arms, Fox & Pheasant, Gail's Bakery but our favorite was The Ivy. Our flat was an easy walk to the tube, restaurants, & multiple grocery stores. A surprising bonus was Holy Trinity Brompton Church St. Luke's Earl's Court only a block away. It was a friendly and welcoming congregation and provided a church home away from home. Shelley's many communications and extensive London details with sites, restaurants and walks were much appreciated. We also checked out Stamford Bridge, Chelsea FC's stadium and Old Brompton Cemetery which are within walking distance from the flat. It was finally warm enough on our last day to enjoy the peacefulness of the lovely terrace which was a perfect end to our trip.

Cozy stay in Chelsea

Highly recommend this cozy flat for a stay in London. It’s located in a quiet and easy to get too neighborhood in Chelsea. Owners were great to work with and are quick to respond to questions or a suggestion of what to do. The flat is near two tube stations, grocery store and restaurants. Lots of great streets to walk down and near the Thames river. The flat had plenty of room for the thee adults. Kitchen was well appointed to make meals or a snack. Loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

Beautiful Apartment..Just as advertised. For several days we walked to the Uber boat at Chelsea harbour and found it a great way to get down town and to Greenwich. The owners were easy to communicate with and very helpful! Highly recommend.

Amazing property in Chelsea/Kensington

Shelly & Dave are amazing hosts, their property in Chelsea/Kensington area is wonderful. Clean and very well maintained, beds are super comfortable. We really appreciated their offer of Dave picking us up from the airport and taking us to the apartment. It was one less thing we had to worry about after taking a long red-eye flight. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the apartment and some info about the neighborhood. They also had some light snacks waiting for us as well. The apartment is conveniently located and on a quiet street, with a quick walk to Earls Court station. Making it super easy to hop on the Tube/Underground. There are many great coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores located in the area. From the moment we booked the apartment Shelly made it very easy to communicate and was very timely with her responses. It was our first time visiting London, she provided us with a long and wonderful list of places to see and things to do in and around the city. It was a pleasure staying at their apartment. Do not hesitate to rent this property!

Perfect getsway

The awesome flat had a convenient location and David and Shelley were wonderful hosts. They were communicative by text and so helpful! Food awaited us on arrival so we could crash and not have to find a restaurant right away! David even took us to the airport when it was time to leave! I hope to return sometime!

The communication with the owner was outstanding. Shelley answered all my questions quickly and sent detailed information. She offered restaurant recommendations and was truly helpful. The apartment was even better than expected and the location was amazing. We like to walk to see a city and the Kings Road, Kensington, Knightsbridge are walkable. Earls Court and West Brompton tube stations are in easy walking distance plus many buses. The washer was great but the dryer was an added bonus especially with the UK weather. The terrace looked amazing but the weather unfortunately wasn't good so we didn't use it. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt. I highly recommend this apartment.

A stay with caring friends

From the very beginning of our vacationing planning , Shelley has been quick to communicate and answer all questions satisfactorily. The flat is on the second story of a white Victorian townhouse on a quiet and safe street in London. The flat is sparkling clean with a two bedrooms, aTV, well-equipped kitchenette and bathroom. It has a private lovely garden terrace opening directly from the larger of the two bedrooms to what seems like a backyard forest. The terrace has a garden table and chairs and is bursting with flowering plants. The flat is within an easy 10 minute walk of a tube station, nice grocery store, restaurants and pubs. Our flight from Florence to London was significantly delayed, yet Shelley’s husband, Dave, collected us from the bewildering Heathrow airport and drove us to the flat. The best part was that Shelley was waiting at the flat for us. She had provided us with ample groceries to make a tasty breakfast for the next few days. In less than 10 minutes, Shelley gave us a quick tour of the flat and explained all. That was a blessing as sometimes arriving late in the dark to an unknown dwelling can be stressful. The washer and dryer were well-functioning and easy to use. Also, before we arrived, Shelley sent me a letter describing nice walks to take in the neighborhood, sites, tube stations, grocery stores, etc.. Her husband Dave was available to arrange a guided tour, if desired. The personal touches and care made this a unique positive stay

Chelsea comfort

We were very comfortable in this airy, bright flat and were able to take advantage of the back deck in glorious weather. It helped to start our week with some basics in the kitchen and we really had everything we needed in the flat. Space for suitcases, etc. is not plentiful but the spare bedroom made that issue disappear. Our hosts were lovely and made us feel extremely welcome.

Wonderful Flat!

This property in the Chelsea/Kensington area is wonderful. It is very clean, cute, and comfortable. The beds are especially comfortable. It is obviously well maintained and loved by its owners. They go above and beyond by picking up US travelers at the airport and taking them to the flat. You get a personal tour and instructions. They even stock the flat with some light food. The owners are easy to communicate with and very responsive. The area is darling, with good restaurants and coffee houses nearby, as well as the market and public transport a short walk away. The neighborhood is very nice. Do not hesitate to rent this property!

Wonderful Vacation

Shelley and Dave were great hosts! We really appreciated Dave picking us up at the airport and taking us to the comfortable apartment and later to Whole Foods! They also responded immediately when we had questions. The apartment was so conveniently located and on a quiet street. The terrace was perfect after a long day. A Home away Home

We loved staying here, starting with the very warm welcome we received from the host, the genuinely homely feel of the apartment which had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a week long stay, the light airy lounge and lovely quiet rear patio perfect for afternoon drinks. On a quiet street yet an easy walk to trains, cafes and pubs. We used it as a base to go to the cricket, tennis and theatres in central London. We can’t wait to return.

Ideal place to visit London

We had a wonderful stay in this 2 bedroom Chelsea/Earl's Court apartment. How amazing to be met by Dave at Heathrow airport and how kind of him to drive two weary travellers to the apartment. The apartment was ideal for two friends who spent each day of our one-week visit traipsing through museums, gardens and shops with some evenings enjoying London theatre. Another kindness of Shelley and Dave is that they stocked the pantry and fridge with excellent items - fresh fruit, cereal, cheese, cake, coffee and much more. The apartment is on a quiet residential street and well-situated - within walking distance of good restaurants, cafes and pastry shops, pubs and shops, as well as the Early Court underground station. Here again, S & D offered great suggestions, and we appreciated their recommendation to visit the most interesting Brompton Cemetery There was no issue hiring Ubers from this address. The apartment is compact, but is well appointed with furniture and appliances, dishes and linens, and has everything needed for a stay of a week or much longer. And we need to especially compliment the beds - 5 star hotel quality! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, managed by stellar and thoughtful hosts!

Amazing Stay!

16 Westgate Terrace provided the perfect backdrop for our two-week stay in London! From booking to arrival all communications were seamless, efficient and gracious. This set the tone beautifully for what was to come. Our flat was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and comfortable throughout. Welcoming fruit, baked goods, cheese and eggs, etc spoke volumes to the attention and care our hosts Shelley, Dave and Vicky strive to provide. Having been to London many times, this was my first VRBO stay and it exceeded all expectations. I look forward to returning to this charming spot in a wonderful neighbourhood!

The flat added so much pleasure to our nine day stay

The other reviews already mention the fabulous and welcoming communication with Shelley. I will add that we have vacationed through vrbo exclusively for a decade and Shelley is by far the best host we have stayed with. We arrived after a long international flight and arrived to receive a personal introduction to the flat. Since it was a holiday the flat had been furnished with basic groceries so we could restore ourselves immediately and make the most of the day. The location could not be more perfect in a quiet street and beautiful neighborhood. It was an easy walk to the underground, to a market and to a bakery. it was a short walk to the best Italian restaurant we have ever eaten in, to a pub, and to a Spanish restaurant amongst other. Best of all is to start or end your day on the flower strewn roof deck.

Fantastic!

There are 2 parts to any VRBO stay - the property and the host. I can't say enough marvelous things about either one! First, the property was absolutely laden with charm. Located in a very quiet neighborhood (just one street over is a busy road but you'd never know it!), it's perfect for walking or just watching out the window and relaxing! The Tube station is only a short walk and it's a major hub (Earl's Court) with access to multiple train lines, giving you the freedom of the city! There are a several excellent pubs nearby. A grocer is literally on the way home from the Tube station! But Shelly also provides a wheeled grocery cart for those moments when you want to pick up heavier items. The bed? Absolutely marevelous. So comfy! All the furniture was! Shelly is one of the best hosts we've ever encountered. Attentive, available, supportive and so, so helpful!! The little extras like having a few groceries available when we arrive was just heartwarming and made us instantly feel at home. The introduction to the place was also incredibly helpful (We came from the States where appliances work just a little differently!). Any question we had, no matter how trivial, was answered promptly. She was also great at suggestions of places to go, etc. Our only sad moment was that we had to leave to go home! I simply can't recommend this property highly enough for what it has to offer!

From months prior to our arrival this was an exceptional experience. Shelley and David were wonderful hosts, went above and beyond to welcome us to London and their lovely home. This was by far the best experience I have had. We very much appreciated meeting Shelley and David at the airport upon arrival and the lift to the flat. Their place was just as described - so welcoming and comfortable, with a fridge full of basic needs and treats to tide us over until we could do some shopping of our own. This allowed us to relax and recharge after our flight from Boston. This is a perfect little flat that had everything we needed and was in such a perfect location. Easy to access everything. I only wish we had a little bit better weather so we could have enjoyed the beautiful private terrace out back. I really cannot say enough about how delightful Shelley and David and this charming flat are. We will definitely return here.

In addition to what's already been said in other reviews, we would emphasize how welcoming Dave and Shelley were and the outstanding level of cleanliness at this flat. Hospitality and housekeeping far superior to any we've previously experienced at a VRBO. Thank you.

I live with my husband and two teenage children in a small village near Guildford in the Surrey Hills. I very much enjoy walking in the beautiful countryside surrounding us, practising Yoga and spending as much time as I can with my family and close friends. We enjoy having our flat in London, using it ourselves as a second home - enjoying its fabulous location, being close to many of our favorite restaurants, shopping and Theatre. Our apartment is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We would like to share our apartment with others who appreciate its location and comfort as well.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our apartment is in a fantastic location in the heart of Chelsea and has a beautiful Roof Garden Terrace which is so nice to have - for al fresco dining and relaxing during one's stay. We are only a short stroll away from Redcliffe Square and the Kings Road for designer stores and chic restaurants.
My mother grew up in Fulham and this area has always been special to me as I used to travel up to my grandparents regularly as a child.

The Roof Terrace is lovely -
The apartment is in the heart of Chelsea -
The area is quiet which is a real advantage as so many streets close by are very noisy and on main roads. Our road is quiet and gives a relaxing feel. The main bedroom is at the back of the apartment overlooking gardens - giving a tranquil feel.
