Hi, I’m a born-and-raised Londoner currently working in finance in Southwark and living just around the corner from the apartment. I’ve lived in this beautiful Westminster/Pimlico neighbourhood since 2012 and absolutely love the area for its mix of quiet charm, historic landmarks, and unbeatable access to the rest of London.

As someone who enjoys travelling myself, I know how important it is to find a comfortable, well-located place to stay—and I’ve set up the apartment to reflect that. I chose this area because it offers a rare blend of central London convenience with a peaceful, village-like atmosphere. Tucked just behind the Tate Britain and steps from the Thames, it's one of the few places in the city where you can enjoy quiet, leafy streets and still be walking distance from iconic landmarks like the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, and the West End.

What I love most is the sense of community—Pimlico has a calm, residential feel but is surrounded by history, culture, and excellent transport links. You can take a scenic walk along the river, grab a coffee at a local café, and still be at your meeting or museum visit in minutes. The mix of classic architecture, friendly local shops, and proximity to places like St James's Park and Victoria make it both charming and incredibly practical.

Having lived in the area since 2012, I’ve had time to discover all its hidden gems—from riverside paths and quiet garden squares to great local pubs and international eateries. It’s a place that feels like home, and I enjoy sharing it with guests who want an authentic London experience with all the city’s highlights right on their doorstep.
